Love Transforms

Chapter 12: Falling

Elara's POV

What arrogance she had in saying such to me! I was clearly Dave's fiancée now, and I had no dealings with her. In fact, we are completely unfamiliar with one another. She had no right to talk to me like that. I thoroughly scrubbed my hands with tissues before slowly turning to face her. I went on to say: "The people who tolerate you on a daily basis are real heroes." She was visibly agitated as she approached me. "Dave is mine," she said. I responded, "Well, I am the one with the ring on my finger, and we both know you forced him into that kiss." I clearly saw it. Furthermore, whatever happened between you and Dave has ended.

I wouldn't be wearing this ring on my finger otherwise. I would advise you to move on and stop being a bitter loser. Dave was standing outside when I walked out politely. He was still outside, which intrigued me, but then I remembered that we were both in that bathroom, and he might have been waiting for her. He followed me as I continued. "We must speak," he said. When I saw how she was grinning as she watched us, I wanted to yank my hand out of his hold. I let him guide me since I didn't want her to have the pleasure of watching us quarrel,i was shown to the private room by him.

Dave's POV

This was the most bizarre and insane Elara I had ever seen. Her eyes were filled with rage as if they were going to blast bullets into my heart. For me, it was a moment of mixed emotions: I was happy to see a new side of her, but I was also sad that it wasn't a positive one, and I knew that it really wounded her feelings. I drew her into the room because I needed to explain things.I truly apologise that you had to discover us it was an error. I was completely unaware that she was luring me in for a kiss. Although it's all in the past, I did have a history with her. She interrupted my explanation by saying, "You don't have to explain anything to me."

I think I do, I answered. "You don't," she said. "I have faith in you," she smiled. She kissed you firmly knowing I was there, and I remembered that you had asked me to put my trust in you, so I'm doing that right now. She claimed I hugged her and muttered, "Thank you," quietly in her ear. Even though we have a contract between us, I was beginning to like the person in front of me. While she was involved in my life, I didn't want her to suffer any harm. We soon found ourselves travelling home, and she slept soundly the entire way. I placed her on my lap and gazed upon her face while she slept. She was really gorgeous, and I believe I've begun to fall for her. I told the driver to leave us as we were at home and I didn't want to wake her. Her hair was in her face, so I brushed it away. God did indeed take his time creating this lovely person. I felt tranquil for the first time in a long time, as if all of my problems had been resolved. She woke up by tossing and turning, but my heart pounded as she caressed my thighs tenderly. She glanced around before meeting my gaze. "What prevented you from waking me up?" You were resting soundly, In addition to the fact that I enjoyed the view, you were sleeping well; her grin made me smile as well.

Sincerely, and in the purest form imaginable, I was falling for her. May I give you a kiss? I asked without averting my gaze from her. She responded by looking into my eyes and gently pressing her lips on mine. I passionately kissed her, reaffirming my affections for her.

I think I'm falling for you, I said, and she giggled. I would like to go on a date with you, and I understand you may be tired, but could I have you as my dinner date tonight? I'll have the chefs prepare something special, she gave me a peck on the cheek and hurried out the car, saying I'll see you then, I smiled in disbelief. On my way out of the car, I got a call from Amy, which I declined, and headed in. I informed the culinary professionals that I would be dining with Elara, so they should prepare a romantic and lovely meal. I was excited and eager for our date, but I felt like a child choosing which emoji to use when I texted Elara to get ready for our dinner date at eight. I changed into my finest suit, sprayed my fave Dior fragrance, Sauvage. After getting ready, I went to the dining room to make sure everything was gorgeous and the meal was ideal. I quickly established the tone by playing Etta James' "At Last." I took a seat and awaited her presence to envelop me.

When she finally arrived at eight, she was wearing pyjamas, and I was completely taken aback. She explained that she was having trouble deciding what to wear, and since Kate wasn't there to help, she assumed we would be going to bed anyway, so hence she wore pyjamas. I laughed because her theory made sense, but it also didn't make sense. Then again sitting across from me was a lovely woman wearing pyjamas, and as we ate dinner and chatted, I discovered a lot about her like she definitely loved music because she knew the lyrics to every song I played. I also revealed to her the relationship me and Amy had shared and how it ended but without great depth as I dare not tell her the complete truth we dance as we waited for desserts and I blurted out why didn't we meet earlier.
