All the pirates were stunned by John's news.

They had been fighting non-stop since entering the island—first clashing with the World Government's garrisons, then dealing with the arrival of additional navy forces. Just as they barely held on, the monstrous Roger Pirates joined the battlefield, slaughtering them like cutting melons and vegetables.

Even now, hearing John's announcement felt surreal to many.

Still, John had saved their lives, and they didn't believe he would joke about something so serious.

In an instant, the pirates on the shore split into two groups.

One faction consisted of pirates directly under Rocks' command and those loyal to Ochoku, John, and Silver Axe. These accounted for the largest portion, nearly 4,000 pirates who rallied behind John and his two companions.

The remaining faction consisted mainly of Golden Lion's subordinates and some who had served Whitebeard or Charlotte Linlin, alongside the peripheral pirates Rocks had summoned.

The mighty Rocks Pirates group, which had once ruled the New World, crumbled in moments. Barely one-tenth of the pirates remained.

The naval forces, battered and bloodied, had retreated to the interior of the Valley of Gods, awaiting further orders.

John boarded the flagship, Sword of Xebec, and stood at the bow, addressing the numerous pirates with a sense of pride.

"Hahahaha! I declare the formation of the John Pirates! From now on, you can call me Captain John!"

The pirates below reacted with mixed expressions, their faces betraying shock and confusion.

After all, Rocks had led them to the Valley of the Gods only two days ago, and now the overlord of the New World was dead, fallen in this nameless place.

Indeed, for most of the pirates, the Valley of the Gods was nameless—a mysterious and unfamiliar location known only to a few captains and cadres.

John didn't seem bothered by the pirates' lackluster reaction.

Thinking about this, John's disdain for Whitebeard, Golden Lion, Charlotte Linlin, and Charlotte grew.

"Just wait! One day, I'll crush all of you beneath my feet!"

John muttered venomously under his breath, ensuring no one heard him.

John then commanded his loyal pirates to set sail. The Sword of Xebec led a fleet of seven or eight pirate ships.

Ochoku and Silver Axe joined John's fleet as well.

In total, more than a dozen ships departed from the Valley of the Gods, carrying their loot and dreams of newfound power.

Meanwhile, at the port, some of Rocks' die-hard followers refused to leave.

"Captain Rocks can't be dead! I don't believe it!"

One captain, a staunch supporter of Rocks, shouted in denial.

However, most pirates were not so sentimental. Upon hearing John's declaration, many scrambled to their ships and set sail, knowing they had no chance of survival if they lingered.

This operation had been devastating for the pirates. Many captains of the affiliated pirate groups had been killed, leaving their crews leaderless.

Even for those who survived, returning to the New World seemed like a hopeless endeavor.

Charlotte, Whitebeard, Golden Lion, Charlotte Linlin, Kaido, and other pirate captains watched the distant battle.

Rocks was locked in an epic confrontation with Roger and Garp.

The clash of their Conqueror's Haki sent shockwaves into the sky. Lightning crackled, and the ground trembled violently.

Charlotte activated Moon Step, propelling herself into the air to avoid the collapsing ground.

Whitebeard leaped high, stepping on the broken earth to escape the chaos.

Golden Lion and Charlotte Linlin, capable of flight, soared away with ease.

"Boss Shiki!"

Some of Golden Lion's subordinates cried out in desperation.

Shiki cursed under his breath but used his Float-Float Fruit powers to lift a large chunk of land, carrying his crew to safety.

Charlotte Linglin summoned Zeus.

"Zeus! Take me up!"

"Yes, Mama!"

The thundercloud expanded, carrying Charlotte Linglin and her treasures aloft.

Kaido and Long Bread relied on their physical strength to leap away, escaping the devastation below.

Charlotte arrived, her Observation Haki scanning the chaotic scene. Over 150 ships were docked—those brought by Rocks and the World Government combined.

"Hmm?"

Charlotte's Observation Haki detected a faint, unusual presence near the Celestial Dragons' ships.

Her eyes narrowed with interest, and she sprinted toward the location.
