An ambitious man named Marshall D Teach

Marshall D Teach.... Like any other D, he is very special. From the childhood he has been very ambitious. In his childhood, he has heard about a strong pirate named white beard, who treated his crew members as his own children, from the people in his island. So when he learnt that white beard has came to his Island he didn't waste anytime to get on his knees and beg white beard in order to take him as his crew mate. Because at that moment Teach has realised that he will not achieve anything staying in the small Island.

For years Teach grew under the the safety of the flag of white beard. He learnt many things that he didn't knew. He realised the difference between strength of weak and strong as well as strong and the strongest. He learnt about the miracles of the devil fruit and Haki. He grew stronger. But decided to hide his strength purposefully.

As his knowledge grew, his ambition grew as well. So when the most powerful logia devil fruit showed itself, Teach didn't waste his time to back stab Tatch as well as the entire white beard crew.

He didn't hesitate to make an enemy out of the strongest man in the world. Or at least the man who used to be the strongest in the world.

Marshall D teach or now black beard was an opportunist. He is not someone who will let an opportunity miss away. So he ate the strongest logia type devil fruit, the Yami Yami no mi and ran away from white beard's ship the moby dick.

He new that the new World won't be safe after his crime against white beard. So he took the risk to sail through the calm belt and go to the west blue. During his time with the white beard pirates he has collected a lot of information regarding some of the potential people whom he can recruit in the future in case he ever got his hands on the devil fruit he wanted. So after he got his hands on the devil fruits, he immediately went to the west blue to recruit the potential people he was keeping an eye on.

He didn't have any plan to come to the lime light any time soon. He wasn't a long term planner. But confident in himself to achieve his dream of ruling the entire world.

But he didn't knew that his future alternate self had already made an eternal enemy out of the most beautiful woman in the world.

Nami was experiencing how hard it is, to actually sail in the grand line. After the left the reverse mountain after saying goodbye to Laboon, they encounted a very thick screen of fog. It was impossible to see what is ahead of them. Luffy and Ussop were goofing around like their usual selves. Zoro was being sceptical and keeping an eye on their company. So that left, Sanji and herself to control the ship. She was being extremely careful, because of what happened a few minutes ago. She just took off her eyes from the log pose, and the ship went in the exact opposite direction of it's path.

So she was keeping an eye on both the log pose and the ship.

As large mountain sized cactus plants came to her sight, she understood that they have reached their destination.

Before she could alert the idiotic duo about the incoming land, their hostages somehow got out of their restrains and stood up dusting off their clothes. Looking at Zoro, Nami realised that he has already fallen asleep.

"Alright guys our destination has arrived." The blue haired girl said.

"Thank you for the free trip." The guy with the crown followed her and both of them bowed down.

Nami was about to retort them about the 'free trip' part, when both of them jumped into the water.

That got everyone's attention as Luffy realised that he has finally reached the first Island in the grand line.

"Wow ! Look at those giant cactus !" Luffy shouted excitedly. "Nami, hurry up ! We should already go to the island !" Nami wanted to shout at her captain that they are travelling in a ship. Not on a horse who can take them to the island very fast.

But knowing that it won't affect Luffy at all, she decided to save energy.

After the going merry entered the small river, she started to notice the large cactus plants from up close. The top of the cactus plants were full with graves. She noticed Zoro's eyes narrowing at the sight.

"This is very suspicious. This island is so.....calm." Sanji narrowed his eyes as well.

"Hey, guys ! Am I hallucinating or there are really so many stone statues in the coast ?" Ussop asked his voice trembling.

Nami also noticed a lot of statues on the coast of the island, which was already visible.

"Stone statues ? Could it be Hancock ? She did told me that she will meet me in the grand line...." Luffy pondered.

The name 'Hancock' immediately drew everyone's attention. But Sanji was the first one to recognise the name. Boa Hancock, the pirate Empress, the most beautiful woman in the world. She is also known as the second strongest female pirate after the emperor big mom. Sanji has turned into a stone statue for three days, last time he saw her picture on the newspaper.

"Hancock ! Do you mean Boa Hancock ! The most beautiful woman...no ! The most beautiful goddess in the world !" Sanji exclaimed in surprise and excitement.

The picture of Boa Hancock had almost taken his life, once in the past. If not for Zeff's help with resisting her beauty Sanji would have been died.

"Beautiful ? Dunno ! But yeah ! She once told me that, she helps Gramps with catching troublesome pirates because marines are incompetent." Luffy shrugged.

AN: I thought that the straw hats reaction after learning about Luffy and Hancock's relationship was too light. But it was understandable. Since the first time they learnt about it, they were in a hurry to leave. So get ready for more comedy in the next chapter.
