Pokemon: I Transmigrated Twice

Chapter 93: Pokemon: I Transmigrated Twice [93]

A month later, on Ula'ula Island in the Alola Region, at Tapu Village.

Today, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Rainbow Corporation is being held here.

Why was this location chosen?

Mainly because Stephen, as a transmigrator, knows that in the future, the Alola League will be established at the summit of Mount Lanakila, located behind this village.

As the future number-one company in Alola, it makes sense to set up shop together with the Alola League, doesn't it?

The establishment of Rainbow Corporation has the local Alolan residents incredibly excited.

As one of the few major regions that hasn't joined the Pokémon League, Alola has long been at the bottom of the chain among the regions.

Now, with a genius who has shaken the entire Pokémon world emerging from their ranks, how could they not be ecstatic?

As for the online speculation that Stephen is actually from the Johto region...well, they've chosen to selectively ignore that.

At Malie City Airport on Ula'ula Island, Charles Goodshow, the President of the Pokémon League, and Lorelei, one of the Kanto Elite Four, stepped off a private plane one after the other.

"Alola~ President, your visit truly brings glory to our humble region," Professor Kukui hurried forward to greet them.

"Haha~ I've actually wanted to visit for a long time, but I just couldn't find the time," Goodshow said with a warm smile, stroking his beard.

Behind him, Burnet, Kukui's girlfriend, rolled her eyes wildly, thinking to herself that this president sure knows how to say one thing and do another.

After all, Kukui used to constantly visit the Indigo League headquarters, pleading with them to allow Alola to establish its own Pokémon League.

However, due to Alola's lack of overall strength and the frequent disturbances caused by Ultra Beasts, the headquarters had consistently refused.

Last year, the headquarters, fed up with Kukui's repeated requests, even sent Lance to say, "If you want to join the League so badly, prove your strength first."

As expected, Kukui was no match for Lance and was utterly defeated.

The matter of Alola applying to join the League naturally came to nothing.

And now, with Alola's development of TM (Technical Machines), the League is suddenly eager to come running.

Of course, Burnet only thinks these things to herself; she wouldn't dare say them out loud.

After leaving the airport, on the road from Malie City to Tapu Village, both Goodshow and Lorelei, who was serving as his bodyguard for this trip, were stunned.

The road from Malie City to Tapu Village was lined with a dense crowd of people!

Most were holding posters and banners supporting Lusamine, while some were holding ones for Stephen.

They jumped and cheered, shouting their names.

"President Lusamine! President Lusamine! President Lusamine!"

"Dr. Stephen! Dr. Stephen! Dr. Stephen!"

Driving the car, Kukui was beaming with pride as he said with a smile:

"President Lusamine has always been a celebrity in Alola. After news of the TMs got out, Dr. Stephen has become a big star as well. The two of them are now treasures of Alola. I believe President Lusamine is perfect for the role of the future Alola League President. And as for Dr. Stephen, he's not just a genius in research—he's also incredibly strong in Pokémon battles. I think he's a great fit to be the first Champion of the Alola League. His two companions could even serve as Elite Four members…"

Kukui's mouth was like a machine gun, rattling on non-stop.

He couldn't help it—his lifelong dream of seeing Alola rise was finally on the horizon. How could he not be excited?

In Kukui's vision, Lusamine would serve as the President of the Alola League, Stephen as its Champion, and his two companions, Will and Karen, as the Elite Four.

Then, they'd just need to train two more Elite Four members to complete the lineup. Perfect!

"Oh? Is that so..."

Hearing Kukui say that Stephen was also skilled in Pokémon battles, Goodshow couldn't help but be surprised.

He had watched Kukui's battle against Lance not long ago.

Although Kukui was far from Lance's level, he had indeed reached the threshold of Elite-level trainers.

If he said Stephen was strong, it was no exaggeration.

"Mr. President, if you're thinking of taking him away, it won't be easy."

Lorelei whispered,

 "Don't talk about this now."

Goodshow also softly reminded her.

Indeed, this time he had traveled all the way from Kanto to Alola, ostensibly to witness firsthand that game-breaking TM (Technical Machine) and the genius scientist who invented it.

But in reality, his true purpose was to recruit this genius.

After all, Stephen's personal information had already been thoroughly leaked online.

Naturally, Goodshow was well aware of it too.

Stephen was from Johto!

If that was the case, wouldn't it make sense for him to return to Johto?

Though Goodshow was usually a kind-hearted and generous person, he was still human.

Such a genius—of course, he wanted it for his side.

However, seeing how Professor Kukui treated Stephen like a prized possession, Goodshow felt that if he voiced his intentions, Kukui might fight him to the death on the spot.

As they arrived at the Rainbow Corporation building, the area was already packed with people.

Any public figure with any fame in Alola had shown up.

The Island Kahuna and all the captains of the Island Challenge—everyone was present.

As Goodshow got out of the car, he immediately became the focus of everyone's attention.

"Welcome, Mr. President."

Lusamine, dressed in a grand outfit, stepped forward and extended her hand.

"Congratulations, congratulations."

Goodshow smiled warmly as he shook Lusamine's hand, but his eyes couldn't help but glance sneakily at Stephen standing nearby, wearing black-framed glasses and exuding a studious vibe.

Around them, Alola's reporters were furiously clicking their cameras, capturing this historic moment for Alola.

"This young man..."

After exchanging a few pleasantries with Lusamine, Goodshow finally found an opportunity to speak with Stephen.

However, he had barely spoken three words when someone interrupted him.

"Mr. President, you're here as well?"

A middle-aged man in an expensive tailored suit, whose figure was slightly out of shape but exuded an air of nobility, approached and struck up a conversation.

It was Rose, the Chairman of the Galar League!

Goodshow was startled, and his expression clearly said, "What are you doing here?"

Rose wore a faint smile. "I suppose I'm here for the same reason as you, Mr. President."

Goodshow wanted to bring Stephen from Alola to Johto, but wasn't Rose also here to entice him to Galar?

After all, as the most ambitious of the League chairmen, Rose made no secret of his desire to strengthen Galar and one day surpass the Indigo League.

Just ten minutes earlier, Rose had arrived with his secretary, Oleana, and expressed to Stephen that he was willing to leverage the full power of Macro Cosmos to fund his research. He even told him that any other requests were up for negotiation.

"So, what do you think? Consider it, won't you, young Dr. Stephen?"

Rose turned to Stephen and asked.

"Sorry, Chairman Rose," Stephen replied with a polite yet firm tone. "I'm getting along quite well with Aunt Lusamine and don't plan on switching sides."

Like Giovanni, Rose was undoubtedly a model good boss. For example, to prevent Galar from potentially falling into an energy crisis a thousand years in the future, Rose even released Eternatus. He had no intention of keeping it for himself, instead allowing Leon to capture it to solidify his position as the strongest trainer.

You had to admit—the Pokémon world certainly produced its share of great bosses.

Hearing Stephen's words, Rose instinctively glanced at Lusamine, who was dressed stunningly beautifully.

After blinking a few times, he pulled out a photo and said:

"Young Dr. Stephen, Galar has its fair share of beauties as well."

The photo showed a tall and toned girl with a healthy tan, looking like a mermaid. She was about the same age as Stephen.
