"Then, then is there another photo studio nearby?" Leon asked.

The staff shook their head, "There's only one photo studio in the entire Flowing Cloud Valley, sir."

'Oh!'

'This damn monopoly.'

As expected, no matter how upscale or sacred a tourist attraction may seem, at the end of the day, it's still a place to make money.

"Then, sir, would you like to take some pictures here as a keepsake?"

"No need. My wife and I might find another way to leave some memories here."

Staff: ?

Leon sighed, took out a few candies from his bag, handed them to the staff, and then left the studio.

Standing outside, Leon calculated what to do next.

At this moment, Rossweise happened to come out of the candy shop next door.

"What are you doing here?" Rossweise asked.

Leon was startled, "I... I bought candy."

Leon shook the candy bag in his hand.

Before going to the photo studio earlier, he had preemptively bought some candies just in case.

"Really… Oh, I see."

"Why did you follow me? Where are Luna and the others?"

"Luna said she still wants to drink lemonade. Let's go buy some over there."

"Alright."

The couple walked a little further and finally found a cold drink shop.

After buying four cups of lemonade, they left and noticed a claw machine at the shop entrance.

The claw machine's prizes were a variety of plush toys: rabbits, foxes, spiders, bears—everything you could imagine.

"Hey, wait for me a second," Rossweise said, shoving the lemonade into Leon's arms. She then went to the claw machine, swiped her room card, and began moving the claw.

Leon walked over as well. The claw machine was full of soft and fluffy stuffed toys.

Leon pointed to an adorable spider in the far corner, "Grab that one, it's the best."

Rossweise glared at him, annoyed, and ignored his suggestion, focusing on her own target—a little bear.

After several failed attempts, Leon said, "How about giving up?"

"No way. I must get that bear today." With that, Rossweise started her second round of attempts.

She rarely acted so childish, and it was unclear why she was suddenly like this.

Leon could only wait quietly on the side.

After a few more tries, Rossweise finally succeeded.

The little bear dropped out of the claw machine's chute. Rossweise bent down to pick it up and handed it to Leon.

Leon blinked, "What for?"

"For you. Didn't you give me a bear last time in Sky City?"

Leon snorted, "The one I gave you was the Bear King. This one's just a baby bear at best."

"Fine, forget it." Rossweise turned away, swinging the bear's arm as she walked off.

"Hey, I didn't say I didn't want it. My hands are just full," Leon said, balancing the candy and four cups of lemonade as he wobbled after her.

At night, after an open-air barbecue party in the Flowing Cloud Valley's rear garden, the long-anticipated fireworks show was next on the agenda for Leon's family.

They picked a good spot on some stone steps to watch the show quietly.

Next to Leon were a camera and the little bear Rossweise had given him earlier in the day.

Sitting with crossed legs and his arms relaxed, Leon gazed up at the night sky.

The clear Moon and sparse stars made it a perfect night for fireworks.

"It's starting over there! Sis, let's go!"

Luna jumped off the steps, pulling Noah along as they ran ahead.

Leon watched his daughters' lively and adorable figures, a warm smile spreading across his face.

Just as he was about to grab the camera to capture the moment, his hand searched in vain.

Panic rose in Leon's heart as he turned around.

The camera was already in Rossweise's hands.

CLICK—

Rossweise snapped a photo of their daughters' backs, then checked the magical projection on the camera with satisfaction.

Leon instantly grew nervous, casually inching closer to her. "Um... How about I take pictures of you all instead? You can go play with the kids."

Without looking up, Rossweise fiddled with the camera. "No need. I just want to see what you've been shooting today and how good they are."

"Ah, I… I think they're all pretty good. Let's look when we develop them back home, shall we?"

"Let's check now and delete the ones we don't like."

Rossweise flipped through the pictures Leon had taken that day.

Leon's adrenaline surged.

This situation felt like realizing you hadn't done your summer homework and watching your teacher check assignments one by one—knowing your turn was near.

The difference? An unprepared student wouldn't dare to argue with their teacher.

But Leon would.

Worst case? He'd get scolded. Maybe he could even turn the tables.

Still, these photos were his trump cards. Better to keep them hidden if possible.

Rossweise was now flipping through the photos from the afternoon on the pedestrian street.

Next up were those from the morning.

Further back… were the bunny girl pictures.

His uncompleted summer homework—or rather, his trump cards—was about to become a double-edged sword.

'Think, Leon, think! What would Master do?'

'Oh wait, Master wouldn't take bunny girl pictures of Mistress. No help there.'

Leon bit his lip, glanced around, and grabbed a candy from earlier.

"Want one?"

Still focused on the camera's projection, Rossweise opened her mouth slightly, "Ah~"

Leon sighed and popped the candy into her mouth.

With one cheek puffed out from the candy, Rossweise looked quite cute—but this wasn't the time to admire her.

If he didn't stop her, she'd soon see something even "cuter".

"Hey, Leon, what's up with this photo—"

"Exactly what it looks like!" Leon stood tall, bracing for the fallout.

Rossweise paused, biting into the candy. "It's just slightly off-center… Why such a big reaction?"

"Ah… huh?"

Rossweise held up the camera, pointing to a photo. "See? My face is almost out of frame."

Leon coughed awkwardly, "That… that's probably because you're so tall."

Rossweise didn't press further. "Oh, alright."

Muttering to herself, she kept flipping through the pictures.

That earlier photo was from the street at noon.

Now, this camera would decide whether their vacation would be peaceful or fiery.

"Why are you so close to me?" Rossweise suddenly asked without lifting her head.

Leon quickly stepped back, "No reason!"

"Come here."

"What for?"

"I said, come here."

Leon reluctantly leaned in.

Rossweise raised the camera, aimed it at them both, tilted her head closer to Leon, and clicked the shutter.

After checking the preview, she nodded in satisfaction. "Good. Now the girls won't ask why we didn't take a photo together."

Leon: "Your Majesty, such foresight."

And if she looked further, she'd see more than just this photo.

Handing the camera back to him, Rossweise said, "I'm going to the fireworks with the girls. You stay here and take more pictures."

"With pleasure, dear wife!"

Rossweise rolled her eyes and left, heading toward the fireworks display.

Leon exhaled in relief.

"Good, the revolution is safe."

He glanced at the camera, which still displayed the preview of their photo together.

In the picture, Rossweise leaned slightly against him, playfully flashing a peace sign.

Natural and candid, it looked like a shot of a couple deeply in love.

Leon scratched his head. "A two-hundred-year-old dragon still making peace signs—so childish."

He conveniently forgot how many peace signs he made in their bunny girl photos.

Lifting the camera again, Leon resumed snapping pictures of his wife and daughters.

Fireworks lit the sky, dazzling and beautiful.

After a while, Luna returned and sat beside Leon.

"What's wrong, Luna?" Leon asked.

The little dragoness snuggled onto his lap, wrapping her tail around her waist. "Luna is tired. Luna wants to rest."

Leon smiled, taking off his jacket and draping it over her. "Alright."

Looking up, he saw Rossweise playing with Noah in the distance. Both held sparklers, with another tucked into Noah's tail.
