30 Years in Whitebeard’s Crew, I Became Invincible

The three Calamities knelt on the ground, unable to lift their heads under Roy's overwhelming Haki.

Especially when that Haki pierced through their bodies, rendering even their Devil Fruit powers useless. Their abilities were completely suppressed, leaving them in agony, struggling just to resist.

Kaido bore the brunt of the Haki assault, his eyes narrowing.

"This Haki… It's stronger than even Red Hair's!"

Across Onigashima, every Beast Pirate, except for the Tobiroppo, had collapsed, foaming at the mouth, unable to withstand Roy's Conqueror's Haki outburst.

"They... all collapsed," Who's-Who muttered, staring at the unconscious bodies below.

"Someone's coming..." Sasaki added.

"That man is…" Drake's eyes sharpened as a figure strode toward them, finally looking up to meet their gaze.

"Whitebeard Pirates, 16th Division Commander, Izo." Who's-Who identified him.

"Are the Whitebeard Pirates launching an invasion?" Sasaki tensed.

"Tch. Not Yamato." Ulti clicked her tongue in disappointment.

"Big sis, stop stirring things up. You're just hoping Yamato dies, aren't you!" Page One shouted.

"Of course I am. Things would be better if she died," Ulti replied.

"Just shut up for a second," Page One tried to hold her back.

The other four ignored their bickering, focused solely on Izo, who grinned back at them.

"Heh"

"That pisses me off. I'll kill him myself!" Ulti, the most hot-tempered of them, leaped down, charging straight for Izo.

"Big sis!" Seeing his sister make a move, Page One followed suit.

Boom!

A deafening noise came from above as something massive crashed into the ground.

"What was that!?"

Everyone looked down to see three figures slam into the ground. When the dust cleared, King, Queen, and Jack were sprawled out, completely unable to move.

"The Calamities?! How?" Black Maria exclaimed.

"Looks like they've been taken out," Who's Who said nervously. He had fought them before, the Beasts Pirates operated on strength, and he'd challenged them... and lost.

Sasaki had too. And lost to Queen.

Now seeing all three of them down, they were both chilled to the core.

Drake looked upward, wondering what had just happened up there. 'Who could possibly be fighting them?'

'Did the Whitebeard himself show up? Was this revenge for Fire Fist Ace?'

Boom!

Another explosion, and Kaido, in his full Azure Dragon form, went flying, his claws clutching one man.

"That's… Edward Roy. Whitebeard's Vice Captain."

"The man who defeated Charlotte Linlin."

"Why is he here?!"

"Are we really going to war with the Whitebeard Pirates?"

"Who else did they bring?!"

Just then, a group of people burst in through the gate.

"Loxus! Loxus, where are you?"

"Little Loxus!!"

"Uncle Rem!!"

A voice came from above, and the newcomers brightened immediately.

"Little Loxus, thank goodness you're okay. We're here to bring you home."

"Uncle Rem, I'm not going back," Loxus suddenly said calmly.

"What?!" Rem, an officer at Whitey Bay's crew, stared in disbelief.

"I'm a member of the Beasts Pirates now. I can't go back," Loxus said through gritted teeth.

"Don't be ridiculous! The Captain's waiting for you!" 

"I'm not going back. Tell my mom I'll return only in glory, definitely not like this," Loxus said, teeth clenched.

"What happened? You're just being threatened! Roy himself came here to bring you back, and you're still refusing!?" Rem shouted.

Loxus yelled back: "He has nothing to do with me! He's not my father! I won't go back to the Whitebeard Pirates, I'm with the Beasts Pirates now, and I will prove myself!"

Drake and the others started piecing it together.

So this brat who joined their crew... was Roy's son.

No wonder Kaido threw a huge welcome party.

Stealing the child of an Emperor-level monster sounded familiar.

The difference? One's father had long been dead.

The other was still shaking the world.

Ulti and Page One fought Izo, but even two against one, Izo held his ground.

Outside, a storm raged as Kaido carried Roy to Kuri.

"WORORORO! Welcome to Kuri, Roy." Kaido tossed Roy down. The two stood atop a mountain peak.

"No need to explain. I was here over twenty years ago. Looks a lot different now," Roy looked around.

Back then, it was all green hills and clear waters, clean and orderly under Oden's management. It had once belonged to the Kurozumi clan, who later betrayed the Kozuki clan and were wiped out in retaliation.

Wano had a habit of punishing entire domains along with their rulers. 

Later, Kuri was handed to Oden as a punishment, yet somehow Oden managed to develop it successfully.

As for "charisma," Roy always thought that was a joke. He never saw Oden as charismatic.

"WORORORO! Now, I rule here. I am the Sovereign of Wano!" Kaido laughed heartily.

"Only in a jungle with no tigers would a monkey call himself king. That fits you well, Kaido," Roy sneered.

Whoosh!

With a burst of wind, Kaido moved like a bolt of lightning and dashed toward Roy.

"Thunder Bagua!"

Facing a strong foe, Kaido didn't hold back, transforming into his most powerful hybrid dragon form, wielding his kanabo with Conqueror's Haki and thunder.

He leapt forward, instantly closing the gap.

"Force Redirect!"

Roy raised his hand, not to block directly, but at a strange angle, lightly redirecting the strike.

Kaido felt his weapon slip off course, the kanabo lifting upward uncontrollably.

BOOM!!

The Haki-infused lightning attack slammed into a nearby mountain, turning it into rubble in an explosion of flames.

Kaido looked down, Roy's eyes locked onto his.

Roy struck Kaido's abdomen with a palm.

"Air Burst: Internal Rupture"

Bang!

Roy's strike hit like a cannon, Conqueror's Haki erupting on contact.

Kaido's stomach caved in, blood sprayed from his mouth as his body was thrown backward.

But Kaido wasn't to be outdone. As he flew back, he swung his tail, slamming Roy with it, sending both men crashing through the air.
