Dual Existence: Only one body may be conscious at a time. The other rests in silence.

Throne Shift: Transfer the mind between bodies. The previous body falls dormant.

Signature Ability – Abyssal Inversion:If one body falls, the other awakens at full might, reborn by abyssal law.Cooldown: 12 hours (Can be reduced the higher the skill level.)

Ryuk's brows tightened subtly as images danced across his vision. He recalled it almost instantly—Morne had used this very ability during their battle.

Ryuk had cleaved through its neck, only for another body to form anew. Even though he'd slaughtered the vessel, the second Morne-clone remained and continued the fight.

'So, a cloning technique, huh? With this, I can create a second body of my own… but only one body is awake at a time,' Ryuk mused aloud.

'But this… this is just perfect,' he thought, then called out:

"Activate Abyssal Clone."

In an instant, pitch-black and blue aura surged from Ryuk's body and drifted to the side.

It coalesced, writhing into form, until a body, identical in every detail stood beside him, head slightly drooping.

Ryuk turned and examined the clone, up and down, scanning every inch. He had to admit, it was remarkable. There was no difference at all.

"And gosh… I didn't think I was this handsome," Ryuk muttered with a sardonic grin.

The system let out a sharp [Tch,] inside his head—but it only made him grin wider.

For the first time, he was seeing himself from an outsider's point of view.

And he had to say—it was pretty damn cool.

"Now… to switch consciousness," he whispered, closing his eyes.

"Throne Shift."

In a flash, Ryuk felt his current self slipping into a deep, irresistible slumber. His body went limp.

A moment later, the world brightened again—

But it was no longer from the viewpoint he'd known.

It was from the other Ryuk.

His new eyes blinked open. Hands flexed experimentally.

There was almost no difference at all. He was still himself.

He glanced down at the original body—already asleep and unmoving.

"This is good," he murmured. "But… what if Morbaine tries to wake me up?"

He reached out and placed a hand on his original chest.

The moment he touched it—he felt it.

A mirrored sensation echoed back into his chest.

"The heart is barely beating… but I can feel the contact."

"If she taps more than once… I'll understand she's trying to wake me—and I'll simply switch consciousness."
