Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Sister Lumina is a Good Person

Himeko and Herta watched Lumina's departing figure in silence. Only after she had completely disappeared from view did they turn their attention back to Stelle.

Himeko smiled at Stelle. "There's no need to rush your decision, Stelle. The Train will remain docked at the Space Station for a while longer, giving you ample time to think things over. Asta is currently in the Master Control Zone. You can talk to her and carefully consider your options."

"I'll be waiting for you on the platform. If you choose to board the Train, remember to settle any unfinished business and see everyone you want to see first."

With those words, Himeko departed.

Stelle watched Himeko go, waiting until her figure had completely vanished before turning to Herta.

Sensing Stelle's gaze, Herta crossed her arms and retorted dryly, "Why are you staring at me? Do I have something written on my face?"

Stelle fell silent.

"Alright, enough teasing. While I'm still interested, ask whatever's on your mind." A faint smile tugged at the corner of Herta's lips as she observed Stelle's expression.

As Herta spoke, several options appeared on the player's screen:

[You have so many rare items. Could you give me one?]

[How does the Space Station actually work?]

[How many puppets do you really have?]

[About Lumina]

Without hesitation, Xiao Hunhun, a devoted Lumina fan, clicked the "About Lumina" option.

"What kind of person is Lumina?" Stelle asked in the game as he selected the option.

"Lumina..." Herta paused thoughtfully, then continued with a hint of admiration in her voice. "Lumina, a Pathstrider of Abundance—though she is also suspected to be an Emanator of Abundance. A remarkable figure who's been around for many Amber Eras, she travels the Cosmos as a physician."

"She selflessly heals all life forms indiscriminately. The Interastral Peace Corporation's official records alone document tens of trillions of cases."

"Some even claim she's a Saintess sent by an Aeon to save all living beings."

"I don't agree with the first part of that. Aeons have no concern for mortal affairs."

"But I wholeheartedly agree with the latter half of that statement: Lumina truly deserves the title of Saintess." Herta paused briefly before continuing, "Of course, I believe she became a Saintess through her actions, rather than being born as one."

Though Herta spoke with a thoughtful expression, her tone was firm and resolute.

"A blade... a blade... this is definitely a blade..." Xiao Hunhun murmured, watching Herta's response. He felt a mix of admiration and heartache for Lumina. He admired her selfless dedication, yet his heart ached for the sacrifices it must have entailed.

[Don't panic, streamer! I'm going to burn down miHoYo headquarters right now so Lumina won't get knifed! 😈]

[You idiot! Burning down the company won't make her appear any faster! "( – ⌓ – )]

[Moron! Wait for Lumina to be released, pull her cards, and just skip the story. That way, she won't get knifed!]

"Everyone claims they'll skip it," Xiao Hunhun scoffed, eyeing the comment section. "But when the story drops, there will be plenty of 'characters' willing to play through it if you don't."

"You think you can avoid the drama just by skipping it? No, no, no! If you don't do it, short video platforms like [Tiktok] and [Bilibili] will gladly take over."

"Just keep scrolling, and before you know it, they've already done it for you."

Xiao Hunhun didn't dwell on this. He dove back into the plot, his eyes fixed on an option on the screen. He clicked the mouse and selected the line:

"So, what exactly did she go through?" Stelle asked.

"How would I know?" Herta retorted, rolling her eyes. "I've only just met Lumina. What do you expect me to know?"

"Everything I've told you can be found on the Interastral Network."

"As for what really happened... well, I doubt anyone knows but her."

Herta crossed her arms, resuming her usual composed demeanor.

"Alright, anything else?"

"Nope," Stelle shook her head.

"Good. Then I'm off." Herta didn't linger. As soon as she finished speaking, the puppet before them lost its glow.

"Now... what should I do next?"

Stelle watched the screen, lost in thought.

Four options appeared before her:

[Find Lumina]

[Find Asta]

[Find Himeko]

[Find Herta]

Xiao Hunhun stared at the choices, then selected "Find Lumina." He shouted into the live stream:

"Wife, I'm coming for you!"

[Streamer, wipe that smug grin off your face! She's my wife!]

[Streamer, what do you want with my wife? I can relay the message for you.]

"Hmph." Xiao Hunhun scoffed at the Cao Zui swarming the live stream, completely unfazed. Following the quest prompt, he sent Lumina a message.

-

Space Station, Platform

Lumina stood at the edge of the platform, her beautiful figure and exquisite face gazing at the breathtaking azure vista of The Blue. Her mind seemed lost in thought.

If I could capture this moment and post it on the Interastral Network, it would surely garner trillions of views...

Passersby couldn't help but pause, captivated by the girl. They admired the picturesque scene unfolding before them, like a living masterpiece.

Though Lumina drew countless eyes, none dared approach her. Each stole a distant glance, etching her image into their minds before hurrying away.

Perhaps, in their eyes, such a pure and flawless White Lotus belonged high in the heavens—to be revered from afar, never defiled by earthly touch.

"Why aren't they here yet? Why aren't they here yet? Why aren't they here yet? I just want to go back and lie on the sofa, sipping soda and munching on chips..."

Unbeknownst to the passersby, the pure flower blooming high above was daydreaming about the blissful lives of shut-ins.

[So that's why you're standing here—waiting for someone!]

Upon hearing this, the System, which had initially been puzzled by Lumina's dazed expression, realized she was actually engaged in important business.

The realization touched the System deeply.

[Sister Lumina is such a good person!]

"What nonsense are you spouting now?" Lumina muttered, rolling her eyes at the message on the System's interface. Why am I suddenly getting a "good person" badge?

Silently grumbling to herself, Lumina sensed the aura she had been waiting for drawing closer. She composed herself and awaited the newcomer's greeting.

"Sister Lumina, what are you doing here?"
