Chapter 8: Myobokuzan - Chakra Control

"So what about nature transformation?" Harry asked, wanting more knowledge. And if Hermione were present, she would look at Harry as if he was growing two heads or was some strange monster.

"Nature Transformation is an advanced form of chakra control and is fundamental to chakra manipulation and the creation of new Ninjutsu. Elemental Nature Transformation changes the actual nature of the chakra, thus altering its properties and characteristics."

"In other words, you control your chakra so that it gains the attributes of your affinity and you can use it for offense and defense. Also, keep in mind that a person can use all five elemental types of nature, but it will be much easier for them to use the element they are affinity with."

"What about Yin-Yang? They mentioned that Rias is able to use it."

"That's more advanced. But Yin is the basis of imagination and spiritual energy. Yang is the basis of vitality and physical energy. These two are also the basis of non-elemental jutsus: shadow possession, genjutsu, medical ninjutsu, mind possession among many others."

"Yin and Yang transformation has to do with altering the amount and balance between "The spiritual energy and the physical energy of chakras"

"So that's why it takes such great control for medical ninjutsu or genjutsu? Because you're manipulating the base of the two energies that make up chakra?"

"Right Harry-chan! It's good that you're catching on quickly!"

Harry smiled, really glad that he's read so much about chakra in all his time in this world.

"By the way, shape manipulation is also part of chakra control," Fukusaku mentions as he raises a finger.

"And this is easier to understand, because it's simply changing the shape and movement of chakra, determining the size, scope, and purpose of a jutsu. It's just the ability to manipulate your chakra and shape it."

Harry nodded, but thinking about Rias, he shuddered a little.

"What happened?" Fukusaku asked as he saw Harry shudder.

"Well... imagine how strong Rias would be with shape manipulation alone. The sheer versatility of her power of destruction just from that, is simply terrifying."

"You're right...", Fukusaku nodded. "But it will be harder than you think?"

"Eh? Why?"

"Because her bloodline brings together all things in nature. Manipulating the form of all that together, will be more complicated than you think."

"But...", Harry shifted a bit uncomfortably, remembering that Rias didn't have a single bloodline.

"You can talk, Harry-chan. We're on good terms and we'll keep your secrets safe," Fukusaku spoke with a small smile.

"Well... Rias doesn't have just one bloodline. From what I know, her power of destruction comes from another clan. Her family... the Gremory clan, from what she mentioned, has superior control. This has made other families want to marry into the Gremorys for the control that those children could have along with a bloodline"

Fukusaku raised his eyebrows in surprise: "If what you say is true, then Rias-chan's chakra control could be superior to all. And... now I see why you shudder at the thought of the result of such control with a power like the one she possesses"

"But let's continue with your training. Can you walk through trees?"

"Yes... also in water, but the latter only for about ten minutes"

"Well then... we'll make things a little more complicated than I had originally planned," Fukusaku jumped closer to the fountain and looked up at the waterfall.

"I want you to use your chakra control to climb up the waterfall. Being in indirect contact with the special oil will help you feel the nature energy better, but it will make the control you currently have much more difficult. If you are able to complete this, your energy control will skyrocket as you learn to balance the three energies."

Harry sighed a little at how difficult it had become so suddenly, but he couldn't let this go. Using his chakra, Harry jumped onto the statue's head before jumping into the waterfall and standing sideways on the surface of the water. However, the nature energy hit him hard and he began to fall.

Fukusaku who was watching immediately jumped up and put him back on the statue's head.

"Go on... we have time and I'll be here to catch you so you don't fall into the oil in the fountain."

Harry nodded before trying again.

Hours had passed since they had arrived at Myoubokuzan, and Rias continued to try to create the connection between the two energies to form chakra. She thought it would be easier due to her control granted by the Gremory bloodline, but she was greatly disappointed. She was used to demonic power; sensing and controlling two energies she had never felt before was more complicated than she thought.

However, when it was already night and she was completely sweaty, her eyebrows rose at the sudden control she gained when the spiritual and physical energy joined together. For some strange reason, being separated cost them to be controlled but, now united, her control increased to a terrifying degree.

At first, Rias had doubts that learning to use chakra would help her better control her power of destruction. But, before she began to awaken her chakra, Shima explained to her that by learning shape manipulation, she would be able to control the power of destruction formed by all things in nature. And indeed, when she opened her eyes and summoned a small sphere of her power of destruction, she was able to change it into a sword-like form before she jumped back as she saw her power explode in all directions, destroying a bit of the dwelling where she had been awakening her chakra.

"It really works... even if it was only for a few seconds, the form of my power of destruction changed," Rias replied in wonder and surprise. While the possessors of the power of destruction could change their form into sizes, most could only change into primary forms. Never... has anyone controlled the power of destruction into precise and more complex forms like a sword. Rias realized that, in that single second, her power of destruction not only changed into a more complex form, it had also hardened!

An excited smile grew on her lips as her body trembled in anticipation for a second. She couldn't wait for the results this training would bring her!

Shima didn't say anything, even if her house was somewhat destroyed. She just looked at Rias in anticipation. No one before had been born with the ability to manipulate all things in nature. In this world, Rias was an anomaly with immense potential for power. Shima really looked forward to seeing the result of Rias' training!

"It seems... you've made progress?" Harry's voice came from the entrance. Rias looked ahead and noticed her friend showing his head as he looked at the ceiling and walls with some holes in them. Fukusaku stood at the door, blinking a little at the destruction.

"Yes!" Rias said excitedly. "I managed to awaken my chakra and now I can not only change my power of destruction into any form I want. I can also harden it!"

Harry raised his eyebrows before whistling impressively, "I can already see you holding a sword while throwing slashes made of the power of destruction."

"You're both very impressive," Fukusaku smiled. "Harry-chan managed to stay in the special oil waterfall for fifty minutes and managed to keep the energy of nature from forcibly entering his body."

"In a short time, he'll be able to let me in and mix it with his two internal energies to achieve sage mode."

"That's good! I think you both deserve an all-you-can-eat dinner!" Shima exclaimed happily as she grabbed a wooden spoon and began to prepare dinner.

"I think... a meal would be perfect, thank you," Rias nodded, as did Harry. What they didn't know, was that dinner was not at all what they imagined. In fact, after an hour of waiting while sitting in the center of the small house and chatting with Fukusaku, dinner arrived and the faces of the two travelers turned pale before changing to a purple color.

"U-um..." Rias gulped, not knowing what to say. Shima smiled happily at being able to feed his two new disciples, not knowing what they were thinking.

Harry, being brave, slowly extended his hand while shaking a little. He took a worm before bringing it close to his face and swallowed hard at the appearance of the bug. Rias could only stare at him before she inhaled sharply, watching as Harry placed the worm in his goose and swallowed it.

*Gokuri!*

The gulp could be heard throughout the small house, making Rias more nervous.

"Hey... it's not bad," Harry smiled, surprising Rias and making her look at the plates of all kinds of insects on the table. She decided to try it. If Harry said it wasn't that bad, then it shouldn't be that horrendous.

However, she didn't notice the small mischievous smile on Harry.

And when she tasted a worm, her face turned green before she had to swallow. Her body trembled from nausea and a shiver ran through her entire body. Finally, she could only smile shakily at Shima.

"I- This... Bu... well... thanks, Shima-san"

"Oh, just call me Ma!", Shima smiled before she began eating alongside Fukusaku.

Harry laughed a little, and tried to hide it with a cough, but Rias easily found out and pinched Harry's left cheek.

"That wasn't funny, Harry," she muttered.

"I'm sorry... I couldn't help it," Harry rubbed his cheek while maintaining a small smile.

"Come on Harry-chan! You can eat as much as you want!" Shima encouraged him and the boy-who-lived could only obey while listening to Rias's small giggle from the side. However, he was happy after all. The group chat had caused him to meet a beautiful girl who quickly became an important friend. He also found fun and purpose in researching the two inner energies and chakra. He never expected to find purpose in researching something like that.

However, while he enjoyed these moments and learned with all the training, the days passed and turned into weeks.

On a certain day, as Harry dodged and tried to hit Fukusaku with Kawazu Kumite, a red pigmentation appeared around his eyes and his irises turned yellow with toad-like pupils. Over the course of these weeks, he had already achieved sage mode. However, Fukuzaku had made him take it one step further, achieving sage mode while still moving!

As you would expect, maintaining a balance between the three energies was difficult and required a lot of concentration. Doing it while moving was even more complicated. But, finally after arduous training, he had achieved it.

Sensing his sage mode active, Harry took a step back while moving slightly to the side, letting the palm strike made by Fukusaku pass by. And in a fluid and swift movement, Harry struck with his palm forward. The strike did not touch Fukusaku's body, but still sent him reeling backwards.

"Well done, Harry-chan! You finally did it!" Fukusaku congratulated him.

Harry nodded before going back to attacking, continuing with the training.

And, a little further away from them, a crimson dragon rose from in front of Rias's position. She was still having a bit of difficulty, but she used hand gestures to control her forms created with the power of destruction. The dragon was elongated with two horns on its head and sharp teeth. Its eyes were dark like the abyss and it moved according to the movement of Rias's hand, impacting the water in front of her, eliminating the water in a radius of hundreds of meters.

"Um! You've definitely grown a lot, Rias-chan!" Shima smiled when Rias turned to her. When Shima saw the obvious distinctions of the sage mode in Rias's eyes, she would have smiled more if possible. Rias had taken a huge step forward, deciding to learn Sage Mode along with Manipulation and Chakra Control for her Power of Destruction.

This decision surprised the rest and they had tried to dissuade Rias because of the burden it would put on her body and the even greater difficulty with two complicated trainings. However, she succeeded almost at the same time as Harry, showing her obvious untapped potential.

Sadly, all the happiness of the group vanished when a shout came from the side.

"Shima-sama! Fukusaku-sam!"

"Kousuke! What's wrong?!" Shima asked the red toad with glasses hanging from his neck.

"Konoha is being invaded! Suna and Oto launched a joint attack!"

Shima gasped and Fukusaku frowned.

Rias looked at Harry seriously. They both knew that this was the important moment. The Climax of the mission they received from the chat group. They definitely had to help! Now not only because of the mission, but also because they had two friends in the village!

"Pa!", Harry exclaimed seriously. "We will go help! Send us back, please!"

"Harry is right," Rias replied more calmly, but she was clearly worried. "We have the possibility to help, we will not sit idly by."

Fukusaku looked at them, back and forth. Finally, after a few minutes, he nodded seriously.

"Fine... we will reverse summon them to Konoha."
