After Breaking Off The Engagement, I Slaughtered My Ex-Fiancée’s Entire Family

Chapter 3:

Chapter 3: Big Brother’s Fiancée:

Back at the Chen family’s old residence, Chen Yang carefully examined his grandmother and sister’s health. To fully heal Chen Rui’s burn scars and strengthen their grandmother’s frail body, several rare and expensive medicinal herbs were needed.

“Second Brother, those herbs are far too valuable,” Chen Rui said, pulling a strand of hair over her forehead to cover most of her scarred face. She forced a smile. “For me, as long as you and Grandma are safe, that’s enough.”

She had already made up her mind. After resting for one night, she would leave Jiang City the next day. Even if their family’s revenge remained unfulfilled, even if she had to live with scars and endure a lifetime of ridicule, she did not want to see her brother and grandmother stay here and continue suffering at the hands of those demons.

“Don’t worry. Your second brother is no longer the useless man he used to be.”

Chen Yang reached out and ruffled her hair, then began recounting his experiences over the past seven years in Kunlun, down to the smallest details. Whether it was his sister and grandmother’s health, their family’s blood feud, or those who had stolen their martial techniques and pills, he vowed to reclaim everything!

The night passed without further words.

By noon the next day, Chen Yang brought his grandmother and sister to the outskirts of the city.

Before them stood a massive gate, about seven or eight meters wide, leading to an estate with a sprawling lawn spanning several hundred square meters. Luxurious villas stood within the premises.

At the center of the gate hung a plaque with two gilded Chinese characters: Su Family.

Beside it was an enormous poster.

The woman in the image wore a white wedding dress, appearing noble and elegant. The man, tall and handsome, stood close to her in an intimate pose, as if they were a match made in heaven.

Seeing Su Qingxue’s blissful expression in the photo, both Grandma and Chen Rui’s eyes filled with deep hatred.

If not for this woman, how could their Chen family have fallen to such a miserable state?

“Chen Rui?”

A voice filled with surprise suddenly rang out. “Weren’t you supposed to be undergoing surgery at the hospital?”

Following the voice, they saw a young man who bore a five or six-point resemblance to Su Qingxue. His eyes carried a mix of confusion and pity.

“Although I’m curious about how you managed to escape from my uncle, you really shouldn’t have come to my sister’s wedding today.”

As he spoke, Su Jie pulled out his phone, preparing to call the bodyguards to capture Chen Rui and send her back to the hospital.

“You? What do you amount to? How dare you threaten my sister?”

Chen Yang narrowed his eyes and slapped Su Jie across the face.

A scorching pain spread across Su Jie’s cheek as his body was sent flying, crashing heavily onto the ground.

Before he could even react, Chen Yang’s foot had already pressed down onto his face.

Just as he was about to crush his skull, a beautiful woman hurried over.

“Stop!”

The woman’s expression was complicated as she stood before them.

Her name was Zhao Qinghuan. She was Su Qingxue’s best friend—and also Chen Yang’s big brother’s fiancée.

Back then, just as they got engaged, the Chen family suffered their calamity, and the marriage was put on hold.

Zhao Qinghuan didn’t know how this supposed younger brother-in-law had survived.

But judging from Su Jie’s miserable state, it was obvious that Chen Yang had come looking for trouble.

As Su Qingxue’s close friend, she couldn’t stand by and do nothing.

“I’ve remained loyal to your family for seven years. I don’t mind waiting longer, but Qingxue has the right to pursue her own happiness.”

A slight frown appeared on Zhao Qinghuan’s delicate face.

The underlying message in her words was clear—she and Su Qingxue had already done enough for the Chen family. She hoped Chen Yang wouldn’t cause trouble on this joyous occasion.

Hearing this, Chen Yang couldn’t help but laugh.

A bandit’s daughter, standing on a moral high ground, speaking on behalf of a murderer with such confidence—where did Zhao Qinghuan get the audacity?

Chen Yang exerted a little more force under his foot, and Su Jie, who was sprawled on the ground like a dying dog, suddenly felt as if his skull was about to explode.

“Tell her the truth about what the Su family did to us. If you dare utter a single lie, you’ll die a horrible death!”

Chen Yang’s eyes turned icy as he stared at Su Jie.

“I…”

Su Jie wanted to argue, but when he met Chen Yang’s murderous gaze, his body trembled uncontrollably.

He had a strong feeling—if he didn’t do as Chen Yang said, he might really lose his life!

“Over the years, Qingxue pretended to take care of your grandmother, but in reality, she used it as an excuse to get my father and uncle to take control of the Northern Border Army. Behind the scenes, she secretly poisoned your grandmother and even instructed the caretaker to abuse her…”

Su Jie gritted his teeth, enduring the pain as he confessed everything.

But deep down, he was desperately stalling for time. As long as he could drag this out, the Su family’s bodyguards would eventually respond.

At that point, Chen Yang would be the one who had no place to escape!

“This… how could this be possible?”

Just moments ago, Zhao Qinghuan had been speaking with confidence. Now, her face turned deathly pale.

The Qingxue she knew was kind and gentle. How could she do something so cruel?

On the ground, Su Jie felt his head throbbing with unbearable pain. He quickly continued, “And… to gain favor with the Sun family in Jinling, Qingxue even captured your sister, Chen Rui, and sent her to the hospital. She planned to extract her heart and transplant it into the Sun family’s eldest daughter.”

“Chen Yang, if you want revenge, go after Qingxue. This has nothing to do with me!”

As Su Jie begged for mercy, Chen Yang glanced at Zhao Qinghuan with mockery in his eyes.

“Aside from all this, the people who massacred my family back then included members of the Su family. Now, do you still think Su Qingxue and the Su family are innocent?”

If not for the fact that she had remained loyal to his brother for seven years, he wouldn’t have even bothered explaining.

“T-There must be some misunderstanding…”

Zhao Qinghuan swallowed nervously, still unwilling to believe it.

Chen Yang sneered.

Even with the truth laid out before her, this woman still wanted to defend Su Qingxue?

“If it’s a misunderstanding, then why did the Zhao family join the others in stealing our family’s martial techniques and pills back then?”

Zhao Qinghuan’s brows furrowed.

Without hesitation, she replied, “Impossible! I’ve never heard of such a thing!”

Chen Yang let out a cold laugh.

She should be grateful she never heard about it. More importantly, she should be grateful that she remained loyal to his brother for seven years.

Otherwise, she would already be a corpse.

“It doesn’t matter whether you believe it or not. From this moment on, you and our Chen family have no further ties.”

Chen Yang’s expression turned icy, his voice cold as death. “As for the Su family and the Zhao family, they will be erased from Jiang City completely.”

With that, he no longer paid any attention to Zhao Qinghuan.

He stomped down, shattering Su Jie’s skull, then turned away, leading his grandmother and sister straight toward the Su family’s villa.

Watching their figures disappear into the distance, Zhao Qinghuan’s face turned pale.

She wasn’t stupid. Thinking back, ever since the Chen family massacre, the Zhao family had rapidly risen from an ordinary family to one of Jiang City’s top ten powerful clans.

If there was no hidden truth behind it, how could their rise have been so swift?

And as for Su Qingxue—if she had truly loved Chen Yang as she always claimed, why did the Su family fight to seize control of the Northern Border Army?

For years, Zhao Qinghuan had regarded herself as the Chen family’s daughter-in-law.

But now that the truth was coming to light, she found herself unable to accept it.

“Second Brother, why did you waste so much time explaining things to that woman?”

Inside the Su family’s villa, Chen Rui pouted unhappily.

She hated white lotus women like Zhao Qinghuan the most.

Before Chen Yang could answer, Grandma sighed.

“Because your second brother wanted to give her and the Zhao family a chance to repent.”

Seven years ago, Zhao Qinghuan had suffered multiple miscarriages.

Although she never bore a child for the Chen family, it was still a debt of gratitude.

For the sake of his older brother, if Zhao Qinghuan seized this opportunity, perhaps the Zhao family could still survive.
