Almighty Father System

Yelena was still controlling her prosthetic arm after the dinner and Lily watched her carefully. She looked around and found that the adults were discussing something in hushed voice, so she walked over to Yelena and asked, "What are you trying to do, Miss Jones?"

Yelena was surprised and then she smiled as she said, "Young Miss, you should call me Yelena."

Lily smiled and replied, "Only if you agree to call me Lily. Then I will call you Big Sis Yelena."

The lady smiled at seeing how Lily was so humble, and she nodded. Yelena said, "I am trying to familiarize myself with the sensation of having an arm again. It is kinda hard."

Lily nodded and said, "How about we play Piano? I have been to Baba's office in the past, and Uncle Rama told me that playing Piano can cause the function to improve quickly."

Yelena was surprised, and Leo chimed in from the side, "Yes, Lily is correct. You should try the piano."

Lily then led Yelena to the piano and they began to practice the basics. Lily taught Yelena about the seven notes, and guided her with some finger exercises. After a few minutes, Yelena realized that her fine motor skills have improved but her head was now aching.

Leo smiled and replied, "You have been focusing too much, and the brain can only do so much. Give it two more days, and your will restore hundred percent control over it. However, don't exert too much force on it."

Yelena nodded, and it was time that Markus and Yelena went back to their hotel. The young man took a deep breath and replied, "Yelena, I have told your brother about the future arrangements. If you find it okay, then you can visit my office in the morning and we can discuss this further."

Yelena nodded and then she left with Markus and Lily climbed in Leo's arm demanding a song. The young man obliged and played the piano for her before she slept on the sofa and Snow tucked the little girl in her bed. The young man sneaked inside the washroom, and then sent an email to Percie Hibiscal, and told her to find a designer to design the wedding card.

Snow saw him come out of the washroom and asked, "What do you think Yelena will choose?"

Leo replied calmly, "There is a high chance that she would say yes, the reason is her sense of gratitude. After the prosthetic arm was given to her, she could not look me straight inside the eyes. So, I am guessing that she would agree to participate."

Snow nodded and said, "Spring had given the intel to Markus, and the latter had been very careful in taming her on a weekly basis. Do you think she can use reverse tactics on Markus and maybe mislead him?"

Leo shook his head and said, "Had she been that capable, it would show in her behavior and Markus is a devil when it comes to reading humans. Also, Snow has been keeping Carole under control. However, how long she can do that I am not sure."

Snow nodded and asked, "How about using that ally of yours?"

Leo hummed and said, "Fine, I will see her tomorrow and discuss what we can do."

The ally in his mouth was Stellar Primal, the half sibling of Carole Primal who was eager to get the better of her brother. The night was peaceful for the Cardinal Family, but in the presidential suite of the most prominent hotel of the city, Markus and Yelena were sitting next to each other and Yelena asked, "What did Mister Cardinal tell you?"

Markus replied calmly, "He wants to use your skills from NSA and prepare all the damaging things that you can against the Luger family."

Yelena opened her eyes wide and asked, "The Luger family of the Swastika Nation?"

Markus nodded and replied, "Mister Cardinal has a mortal enemy, this person had caused the death of his parents and almost killed him as well. So, this blood debt had to be paid back in full. He can obviously use the resources from the Pinnacle Company, but he thinks that it would be better to have a person who can really keep things under the shadows, and also the technical point of view that you would have would be unmatched.

After all, you cracked down Anton's operation who was running around the world like he was a shadow."

Yelena nodded and replied, "I see, Mister Cardinal knows that agents and intelligence agencies all work on leverage and that is what he wants. He cannot engage into a cross country war with the Luger family, because those swines are deeply smeared with political dust and blood on them. So, he wants leverage. He must have a specific target, right? Who is it?"

Markus replied, "Matilda Luger. She is the young miss of the Luger Family."

Yelena thought for a bit and then she opened her eyes and remarked, "Do you know that woman is the third in command in the Luger family? Sometime she can even veto the decisions taken by the head of the Luger Family, the biggest issue is the support she has. All the youngsters of the family are in her pocket."

Markus raised his brow and asked, "How do you know all this?"

Yelena rolled her eyes and said, "She was one of the people who had been talking with Anton at the time we led the crackdown, however, her meeting was later foiled when she found how hard we all had been on Anton's men."

As she was speaking, she couldn't help but rub her arm gently. Markus reached out to pat her shoulder, and said, "My dear, don't worry, Anton is gone."

Yelena smiled at him and replied, "Yes, he is gone. So where was I? Yes, Matilda Luger, she controls the youth of the family and her stick and carrot approach had made the people to really acknowledge her, and she is always fair in dealing with the matters of the family. She commands great respect among them, and they are the only way to find anything about the family to be honest. We had a hard time finding out all these minor details as well. She lives in the shadows."

Markus frowned and said, "Well, from what I understood about Mister Cardinal, I am sure that he has a plan, so if you would like to work for him, you can go and meet him at his office."

Yelena nodded and asked, "I will think about it, go on get some sleep."

In the morning, Leo called Stellar Primal, who replied very sarcastically, "Oh, so mighty Mister Cardinal has finally decided to make a call to me? Is your wife away?"

Leo replied, "No, she is sitting beside me and listening to you on speaker. Her face looks like she can cut off your tongue right now."

He was not the one to back off. Snow smirked as Stellar fell silent and Leo said, "Come to my office at lunch, I have something to talk to you about. It would be nice if yo put your attitude at home."

Stellar was triggered and she asked, "Who do you think you are to command me like this, Cardinal? I have been busy dealing with things myself, and you didn't even have the courtesy to check your messages. So, if you wish to work together, you ought to simmer down your attitude."

Leo saw Snow holding back her laughter and said, "Fine, it would be a pleasure to hold a lunch with you, and please make sure that you are not followed."

The call was ended, and Leo said, "You can laugh all you want."

Snow erupted in laughter as the two people reached their office. Leo started using his computer to find out the best way to make a Go-Kart for Lily. This reminded him that after lunch he needed to visit the Principle of Lily's school and discuss the proposal of creating a small go-kart track.

The young man was looking at the details of what matters most for the Karts when he heard June knock on the door, and he said, "Come in."

The lady came inside and said, "Sir, someone named Yelena Jones has come to see you. She doesn't have an appointment but Mister Kyle recommended her."

Leo raised his head and saw that June didn't appear to be very happy. He sensed something and replied, "Yes, send her over, she is Kyle's Boss in a way. That is why he is recommending her."

June was surprised and then she said, "Yes, Sir."

Leo replied when June was about to turn around, "June, don't take out your weapons against him. That man is a simple bloke, just tell him what you feel and it would be fine."

June blushed and said, "Sir, it's not like that."

Then she left the room, and shortly after, Yelena came over. Leo sat across her on the couch and asked, "What have you thought Yelena?"

Yelena asked, "Ummm, can I ask you a basic question first, Sir?"

Leo nodded and Yelena took a deep breath as she asked, "Sir, what will I get if I agree to work for you?"

Leo smiled and said, "You cannot go back to your old job, can you?"

Yelena shook her head and Leo said, "I have read about you, so I know that you wish to work for the welfare of the world. How about this, if you agree to work for me, after all this is settled, you can recruit like minded people and develop your own network of spies to make sure that most of the tycoons in the world are honest. I will fund the entire thing, what do you say?"

Leo gambled on idols and he cashed on them big time as Yelena extended her gloved right hand, "Glad to be working for you, Mister Cardinal."

With that, Leo had another weapon in his arsenal.
