Almighty Father System

Leo came home with Lily, and the little girl was very excited after hearing that the school will get a Kart Track and that it would be finished soon as well. Leo had given the task of building the track to the real estate venture where the Cardinal Group held a stock.

When they got home Clara had already prepared a meal for Lily, and Leo said, "I am going to my study, I have an important project coming up. Lily, can you study with Symphony today?"

Lily gave him an okay and Leo pecked her cheeks as he went upstairs in his study. He sat down on the chair and took out the list of parts that he needed to make a Kart. Then he began to search for vendors in the country. He began to make one call after the other, and placed orders. However, the problem was how would he get them all delivered to his door by tomorrow morning.

After all while many parts were available in the city, things like engine block and fuel pumps were ordered from vendors in Montek City or even farther away. Leo had ordered, chassis, bumpers, engine mounting plate, axle supports. Then he went on to solid axles, bearings, hubs for brakes and axle, drive chain, chain guard. He got a centrifugal clutch, filters, carburetors, spark plugs with caps.

He ordered five sets of the big parts and fifty for the spare parts. He was giving the big business because he wanted the vendors to act with priority. He even paid a higher than usual price to get these things as quickly as possible. However, it was not without an order that if the quality lacked, he would be suing the vendors.

He kept making calls for the next three hours and finalized everything before he called the boss of the biggest logistic company of the country, "Hello Mister Herms. I am Leo Cardinal, I apologize for calling you so abruptly but I needed a favor."

He had met Mister Herms in front of Lily's school when the man had come over to congratulate him for buying the stocks in the racing team. Herms had also dropped a congratulations message on his Mygram account which was politely replied by his 'manager' Lily Cardinal.

Well, what could he say, his daughter just wanted to protect him from various scammers in the world, at least that's what she said when she asked him to hand over the password. Thankfully Snow had been the deterrent force and the times Lily could use the account was very limited.

Herms replied from the other side, "Mister Cardinal, it's my pleasure to receive your call. Please tell me, what can I do for you?"

Leo replied, "You see Mister Herms, I want to make a gift for my daughter, and I only have this weekend to finish the project so if you could mobilize the air couriers from your company on a priority basis, I would be grateful."

Herms was surprised and said, "Mister Cardinal, I can mobilize the air courier that is not a big deal but the priority delivery would cost you five times more than usual, is it really worth it?"

Leo smiled and replied, "All that I earn it is for the sake of my daughter, Mister Herms, if my spendings can bring a smile on her face, it is worth. Had you asked me a fifty times more of a price, I would have given that too."

Herms was shocked, he took a deep breath and replied, "Mister Cardinal, I have come to understand something new about you. How about this, I will give you a free delivery, but you have to tell me what is it that you are doing. I want to do something similar for my daughters as well."

Herms was a father of twin girls, and the fact that he had two daughters while Leo only had one, made the former very envious. Not that he didn't love Lily, but he wanted to have two Lilies.

The young man smiled and replied, "My daughter wanted me to make her a Go-Kart. So, I am going to make her one."

Herms was shocked even more, he asked, "Is it not dangerous, Mister Cardinal?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "No, it is not. I will get it tested by the expert technicians from the Wagoner Racing Team before giving it to Lily, so it would be fine. Also, Mister Herms, if we want our children to grow stronger, we cannot always act like shelters for them. All that would do is make the child fickle."

Herms was surprised by this ideology but he approved of it nonetheless. They chatted for a few minutes, and Leo found that Herms could be a good friend to him. After all, a fellow slave gotta be friendly with the other right?

The young man took a deep breath after the call was finished and he went downstairs to have a meal. However, he was constantly worried about the delivery so he took a chance and decided to call June.

The young lady was surprised when she checked the caller ID, and asked, "Sir, good evening, is everything alright?"

Leo was surprised as well, he didn't expect such a reaction from June and he said, "June, good evening, everything is fine. Am I disturbing you?"

June replied, "No Sir. What can I do for you?"

Leo sighed and said, "Well, I know that you are off work now, but I have been worried about a few things that I have ordered, would you be able to contact the people and check on the status for me? I need them all by the morning tomorrow. I have already made the payments, so if you could just contact them?"

June smiled and replied, "Finally, I am getting to do things that a secretary gets to do. You know Sir, in the office everyone is envious of me because you literally give me no work and I earn the most. So thank you for this task."

Leo chuckled and said, "Well if you say so. How about I give Kyle a day off to take you out tomorrow?"

June was stunned and she yelped, "Sir, it's not like that!!!"

The call was disconnected and then after a few minutes, Leo received a message that he should send the details over. The young man smiled and sent the details over, which made June understand how big and complicated this task was, but she obliged and got to it right away.

In the morning, Leo woke up and was ready to go for his run, when he opened the door and found that the yard was covered with a fine layer of snow. He looked at the guards and asked, "You guys okay?"

He could see a few spots where they burned some wood. Jock replied, "We are fine Sir, Madam left a huge stock of fire wood for us. We placed it on stones and kept ourselves warm last night."

Leo nodded and then he said, "I think we should get you guys some modern solution for this. I will talk with the realtor and see what can be done, but after the weekend. These two days would be busy if the stuff is delivered on time."

Just as he finished speaking, a guard on the side said, "Sir, there is a truck outside, they have been waiting for the past few minutes, seemingly they have been instructed to hand over the package to you only, and we told them that you were sleeping so they insisted on waiting."

Leo realized what was going on and he quickly approached the people and signed the documents before he took the delivery of the packages. The entire garage was piled with different boxes. Leo had been careful to organize them in the way he wanted, and now he needed to go and get himself some nice tools.

He looked at Jock and said, "How about we go and buy us some stuff to do a team building exercise?"

Jock was surprised but then he nodded and said, "I will be right behind you, Sir."

At this moment, the door opened and little head peaked out, Lily asked, "Baba, are we not going to practice today?"

Leo smiled at her and said, "If you promise me to stay indoor for the next two days, I will promise to get you a gift that you have been wanting. Sister Zee can help you train in the backyard."

He looked at Zeenat who gave him a thumbs up, and Lily thought for a bit before she said, "Okay."

Then she went back inside with a confused expression on her face. Leo and Jock got in an SUV each and drove to the nearest All-mart. They bought tools to assemble the Kart and then they came back home.

Before leaving, Leo had asked the guys to organize one set of all the boxes and place them in an organized manner. They had finished dealing with that and now only the engine was left wrapped up in a corner. Leo took out the tools and made a proper space for them before he said, "I will go and have breakfast, you guys do it too, and then we build Lily a Go-Kart."

The men cheered and they closed the garage shutter and left to eat breakfast while Leo headed inside with an excited smile on his face.
