Almighty Father System

Dante kept talking before he paused and said, "After all that is said, many people think that Matilda has a weak spot and that is her son. Wrong, her only weak spot is her obsession with reputation. Someone created a rumor that she married a pervert, she divorced her husband. She found that someone called her son a blemish on the Luger family, a bastard, so she gave him up to her ex husband.

If you can find a way to destroy her in one fell sweep, then you might be able to get through her. However, if you gave her a chance, she will use all and any means necessary to erase you and your family. I am not glorifying her, but the reason why I am spending my life here is because I stepped on her gown in a party which almost caused her to trip."

Leo nodded and said, "I understand, now can you tell me why I should believe whatever it is that you said? What if you decide to go behind my back and act as her pawn?"

Dante smirked and shook his head as he replied, "I may be a scum, but I have my standards. In my entire life, I have never followed the thoughts of the Luger family that believes in taking everything they can. I follow the idea that my mother left for me, to create something of my own and give back to the world."

Leo shook his head and replied, "It is not enough. However, if I found out that you have double crossed me, I will bury you in this hotel itself."

Dante chuckled and said, "I believe you, Cardinal. However, we Lugers are all petty. That bitch destroyed me, I will destroy her. It is as simple as that."

Leo nodded and then he stood up to walk out of the restaurant. Dante looked at Leo's receding back and then his hand ran up to his neck. There was a dark bruise under his collar, where Leo's palm was imprinted perfectly. Dante mumbled, "After I get what I want, I will deal with you."

Leo got inside the car, and he turned around with Yelena sitting inside. She sensed that his mood appeared to be calmer at this moment, and she asked, "What do you think Sir?"

Leo replied, "After I get what I want, I will kill him. This bastard is not at all trustworthy. He said it himself, Lugers are all petty."

Yelena nodded and asked, "What shall we do now?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "Find out the businesses ran by the Luger family. I want to destroy their power influence in the Clover Nation first and then we can head outwards."

Yelena nodded and said, "I will give you the detailed report within a week."

Leo shook his head and replied, "You will assign someone to keep an eye on Dante, and then you will join the rest of the people in the Lickey Land park in the Stag Nation. It is my wedding."

Yelena smiled and nodded in agreement. Kyle and the rest had just reached the middle of the mountain when they caught Leo moving downhill. The young waved at them and asked them to follow him as he drove down slowly. Yelena said, "Sir, I think that their is something odd about this obsession with her image. I mean if she was really that conscious of her image, why would she be so reckless in the first place? She could have aborted the child, right?"

Leo nodded and replied, "This is why I said that I don't trust him. We need to look deeper in this whole thing. Matilda Luger is a lady from a strong family, I doubt that she was this stupid. Also, I am hoping that you recorded the conversation we had with Dante?"

Yelena nodded and revealed a small recorder from her sleeve and Leo said, "Good, edit the file and send it to Carole Primal, I want him to be busy and not ruin my wedding."

Although he has been punished, but he was still thinking about his wedding with Snow. He didn't hold a grudge against her, because he knew, that somewhere he was wrong. However, he didn't regret what he did, and if he had a choice, he would do it all over again. This was how close he held the relationships.

Yelena chuckled and they returned back to the airport from where Leo boarded his plane and headed back to his office. There was still some time in twenty four hours limit, but thankfully the flight lasted for ten hours, and the rest of the time, he can just spend it in the office.

Lily arrived at the gate of the office with Zeenat and a couple of guards. Axel was watching the security today, and he was stunned. He approached her quickly and asked, "Young Miss, shall I inform Madam about your arrival."

Lily smiled and waved her small hand as she said, "I want to surprise her. Don't worry, Sister Zee is here with me."

Axel nodded as he watched Lily walk inside the building and she greeted everyone with a smile. The reception lobby lit up as soon as the little girl stepped inside. The people were happy to see her, and they adored her. Not only because she was the daughter of their boss, but because she was a nice kid who was kind to them.

Many times if Lily spotted an elder employee, she would approach them and ask if they were okay or they needed to rest. She would even go as far as fetching them a glass of water.

So, after her inspection tour, Lily Cardinal appeared on the top floor, she found that her mother was not there, because she was in a meeting and would return shortly, so she decided to walk over and check out her office. She frowned when she found the door to be locked.

She pouted and turned to head into Leo's office, when she spotted June, and exclaimed, "Oh! Sister June, you are here? I was wondering why someone else was down there."

June was surprised to see Lily as well, and she smiled and said, "Young Miss, I was promoted. Now I work with your father."

Lily nodded and said, "Yes, he does need help. Sister June can you tell me if Baba has been eating his meals on time?"

June nodded and replied, "Yes, he eats lunch in the cafeteria, before he leaves to pick you up."

Lily heaved a sigh of relief, and then asked, "Why is Ma's office closed? I wanted to see it from inside."

June smiled and replied, "Because there are many sensitive documents that should be kept secure."

Lily shook her head as she sighed and said, "These adults, each one of them is so complicated."

June chuckled and she said, "You can sit on my chair to wait."

Lily waved her hand and said, "Hehe, I have a place to rest. Don't worry."

Then the little girl walked up to her father's office door, and beckoned Zeenat to come closer. The latter then picked her up in her arms, Lily smiled and then punched in the code on the notepad installed at the door. With a couple of beeps the door unlocked and Lily raised her chin as she said, "Hehe, Baba is so sweet."

She entered the room to rest for a while as she waited for Snow to come back from the meeting.

Leo was about to enter the virtual realm to train when the system pinged, 'Ping: Your daughter finds you sweet. Reward: Influence. Everytime to enter a negotiation, there is a chance that you can influence the other person with your words.'

Leo smiled and looked at the clouds passing by outside his window. The thought that his little one thought of him as a sweet person could indeed bring a smile to any father's face.

Leo looked at Kyle and the rest and pressed the button to call the stewardess. The hostess came over and bowed, as Leo said, "Get everyone a drink from the spirits we have on board."

The lady nodded, and Leo said, "Except for the pilot, and you guys. You can have fun when we land safely."

The lady chuckled and said, "Sure, Sir."

Kyle frowned and said, "Sir, we are on duty, we cannot drink."

Leo rolled his eyes and said, "I have troubled you guys a lot today. Also, I didn't know you can protect me from whatever might be capable of taking down a plane."

Kyle froze and then he chuckled, as he said, "Yes, Sir."

The flight continued, and although Leo's mood had improved a lot, he still went inside the virtual realm after his drink to practice his skills in business management. Yes, he was facing the biggest and the strongest businessmen in the country, and he needed to work on that more than his physical skills which were already good enough to mop floors with the world champion level athletes.

Lily came out of Leo's office when she found that Snow had come back from the meeting. June informed her, and Snow was surprised to see Lily in the office, the little girl dashed over to Snow and jumped at her.

Despite everything, and the fact that Snow denied how much she loved Lily, and put Leo on the pedestal, she naturally embraced the little girl and her eyes began to water. Lily said, "I wanted to apologize but Grandma said, I am not wrong. But I don't want you to be sad. I will not argue from now on, I will be a good child."

Snow felt like she was between tears and laughter, as she hugged her daughter tightly and said, "You have always been a good child. Ma loves you so much."

Lily also hugged her back and said, "I love you more."

That was all they needed to break the ice, a warm hug.
