Along The Path Of Vengeance(Sasuke/Mha)

Sasuke's scarlet and lilac eyes gazed up at the sky and observed a clear sky with clouds sparsely decorating the canvas. 'It's not enough...'

"Tick tock, dear Sasuke. I appreciate you hand-delivering such delicious quirks to me, but I'd rather not linger here with you for too long. Midoriya interests me much more these days," AFO raised and clenched a fist.

Sasuke's face drew down toward the target of his ambitions and aimed his Amaterasu-coated blade toward him, "Go ahead and try to reach Midoriya then. I'll stab you in the back the second you look away though."

AFO snickered, "Last time we danced you couldn't even make me break a sweat, do you really think that—"

The tip of a blade nearly sliced his mask in half, shutting him up, and he flew back, feeling a trail of black flames being left where the blade had sliced. The sheer heat of the blade made him perspire, and Sasuke's purple aura intensified while he reinforced his body inside and outside with Susanoo armor. The Majestic Attire adorned him head to toe, condensing all the energy of a full Susanoo into the density of armor both enhancing and protecting his body. "I don't think anything. I know that you're dying here no matter what, so cut the yap and die already!"

AFO regained his composure and tendrils shot out of his body at odd angles, "Brat! If you wish to die so badly, I'll gladly grant your wish!"

The tendrils jolted toward Sasuke and he cut some of them while dodging others and drew closer to AFO.

The number of tendrils rapidly increased as Sasuke got within arm's reach, and they temporarily bound him, "It's over!"

AFO reached for Sasuke's forehead while he was bound, but Sasuke threw a shuriken behind AFO and swapped places with it. Following up a large blast of Amaterasu that seemingly engulfed AFO entirely.

Unfortunately, a golden barrier shielded AFO and he flew out of the way before sending multiple mouths on tendrils to attack. Sasuke manifested his V3 Susanoo in the air and drew his bow back.

AFO grunted and thought, 'To think that this gnat is really putting any pressure on me. I could have snipped it in the bud sooner, but oh well. This mistake won't be repeated in the future once he's dealt with.'

A multitude of tendrils bundled up in front of AFO and a yellow glow formed into the center of it before blasting off and meeting Sasuke's Amaterasu-coated arrow in the middle.

Their contact lit up the sky and left behind a huge cloud of black smoke that Sasuke threw a lone kunai through.

Before AFO could block it, Sasuke swapped places with it and AFO instead tried to grab Sasuke's forehead, but Sasuke cut down the middle of his arm from his hand, eliciting a scream and a blast from AFO that sent his sword flying.

AFO tried to punch Sasuke, but he dodged it and countered with a blow that shattered AFO's mask.

AFO's mouth hung open, and Sasuke smirked, "I was worried about getting too close to you, but you're pretty pathetic in hand-to-hand fighting."

Sasuke laid a combo into AFO, dodging a couple of punches and landing multiple punches and kicks of his own into a now bleeding AFO. He gloated, "Honestly, you're disappointing."

AFO gritted his teeth, "WRETCHED BRAT!!!" He engulfed the area in a large array of tendrils that shot out in every direction and pierced Sasuke in multiple places, causing him to swap far away with a tree branch.

He flew back up into the now cloudy sky while covering the three holes put in him, and AFO stated, "Don't get too cocky, pest. You've gotten better, but you're no All Might. You'll ultimately still be joining your parents at the end of the day. It's about time I stop holding back on you."

They engaged each other in a deadly back-and-forth for a long time, with AFO being forced on the back foot despite his words, but Sasuke wasn't able to close the deal with a final hit. As they fought, the sheer heat from their attacks forced rapid condensation in the atmosphere and the once clear sky had now become a grey blanket stretching across the mountains that cried down on them.

Rain mixed with sweat traveled down Sasuke's face and he caught his breath thinking, "It's time..."

AFO chuckled, feeling the rain, "If you were desperate enough to think that rain would dull my senses enough to let you win, then that is truly sad."

Sasuke allowed the flames on his blade to disappear and he raised his hand toward the rumbling sky. His hand ignited with electricity and AFO's head perked up while he felt an increase in the power around him, "Hm? What are you trying now?"

"I don't owe you an explanation."

AFO suddenly felt a split in his mind, and his senses weakened. 'What's going on? It feels like my quirks are... rebelling? At a time like this? My senses feel dulled...'

Sasuke observed AFO's aura and saw what looked like different colors trying to split off and escape him. The lightning in his hand intensified, and a spear of electricity shot up into the clouds, causing a chain reaction and dozens of arcs of lightning that began to surge and collect above Sasuke. "They're crying out for you now. They want justice... And I'm here to deliver it. Kirin."

The lightning formed into a dragon of electricity and dove down from the clouds to pounce on AFO. He tried to put up every defensive barrier he could and to warp away, but the speed and power of Kirin unrelentingly pierced through everything and enveloped him in a blast that lit up the sky like a nuclear bomb in the form of a pillar of blue light.

When the light faded, Sasuke saw a charred corpse at the bottom with only a faint flicker of aura left, "He survived... even if barely." He descended down to the ground in front of the half-dead AFO.

He looked down at him with a cold smile and crouched before his steaming blackened corpse, ignoring the stench he emitted. "Hn. Look at you, the great All For One, all those hundreds of years of planning, just for you to fail cause you forgot to kill one child."

Sasuke palmed the back of his head and looked into his one good eye with contempt that could tear down nations and followed up with a tongue that matched it, "You're a piece of shit who never should have killed my parents. You ruined my life, and now I'm gonna ruin yours and everything you worked for. All of your allies, Shigaraki, friends in other countries, and plans for the future. I'm gonna tear it all down, bit by bit until nothing on this planet remains of you. Just savor that in your last moments."

Sasuke dropped his head and stood up, producing another Chidori. AFO croaked and wheeled with a forced smile, "How... touching... *cough cough* but you've made one critical error, boy... just like me, you waited too long to finish the job!"

AFO burst into golden light that blinded Sasuke. He tried to strike down his Chidori through AFO, but he only swiped through the air.

His vision cleared up and he looked at what was now a much younger, fully revitalized AFO. Sasuke's eyes widened as he recognized his appearance from the night of his parents' deaths.

AFO smiled down at him and said, "Be proud, Sasuke. I never could have imagined you would push me this far. This appearance must be rather nostalgic for you, heh."

While technically naked, light radiated from parts of his body and Sasuke glared at him with gritted teeth, "What the hell did you pull out of your ass this time!?"

AFO laughed, "What was that that you said earlier? Oh yes, I don't owe you an explanation!"

AFO bolted toward Sasuke and punched him in the gut, cracking the armor and sending him flying. Sasuke recovered, but as he did AFO was right on him and he blocked another fist that cracked the armor on his arms. "I feel as light as silk!" He dodged another blow and tried to counterattack, but AFO grabbed his fist and held up his hand in his face, charging a beam attack.

Sasuke swapped with a tree branch behind him and got some breathing room. 'He's way faster and stronger than before now. Damn it! I should have finished him the first time, but the end result isn't gonna change.'

Sasuke braced himself with his blade and sliced through incoming tendrils, following up with arrows that AFO flew around, 'I only have so much time to get to Shigaraki, but I'll be damned if I don't kill this arrogant brat!'

He shot a large energy beam that broke through Sasuke's V3 Susanoo and followed up with tendrils and mouths that tried to feast on him.

Sasuke evaded them and shot out Magatama beads like a shotgun blast that forced AFO to block. Sasuke dashed through the smoke from the explosions and stabbed him with Chidori, but AFO just smiled and punched him across the face hard enough to destroy the armor and open a wound that made blood pour down his forehead. "This is the power that only All Might in his prime could compare with! A child like you is no real match!"

They went back and forth for a long time with Sasuke now on the back foot. Much of the forest below was unrecognizable, and mountains had gaping holes in them. Sasuke managed to slice AFO diagonally across his abdomen, but AFO grabbed the sword and threw it over the horizon, "Enough of your petty struggling! This ends here!"

AFO let off a beam of light that blinded Sasuke and followed up with an energy blast that sent him crashing through the trees into a small crater.

Sasuke's wound opened back up, and blood poured down his face. He lay there trying to catch his breath and move, but his body was too sore, and his mind was in a daze while rain mixed with the blood seeping out of him.

With their roles now reversed, AFO looked down on him with a smug smile. "How the tables have turned. Can't say I'm surprised. Now I'd love to monologue to you about your failures to avenge your family, but unfortunately, I'm on a time limit, so I'll just—"

Familiar rumbling footsteps stood out from the thunder surrounding them, and AFO's eyes turned with a smile toward Gigantomachia, who was running toward him. "Machia. I'll get to you in a minute, let me just deal with him."

AFO turned his head back toward Sasuke, and as he did Gigantomachia threw a giant piece of earth at him that made contact and seemingly flattened him.

Mina spotted Sasuke down below from her spot on his back and gasped before sliding down Gigantomachia. Shinso, Kodai, and Yanagi yelled in unison, "Mina!"

"I gotta check on him!"

She landed on the ground and ran to Sasuke's side helping him up. "You shouldn't be here."

Mina frowned and put his arm around her shoulder, "Oh don't give me that, a thank you would be nice! Are you ok?"

"Yeah..."

AFO destroyed the piece of earth that landed on him and emerged from it, looking even younger than he did earlier. Gigantomachia spoke, "Your appearance has changed, but I recognize you from your scent. AFO! MY MASTER! Why, oh why did you leave me behind?!"

While Gigantomachia expressed his woes, Mina helped Sasuke get on his feet. "Mina, I'm serious. You should get out of here."

She stood her ground, "Sasuke, we've been over this before!"

"Afo is different! If I'm having trouble keeping up, then you'll just be killed without much of a fight! Trust me, you're making the fight harder for me by staying here."

Sasuke pulled his arm off her shoulder and stood on his own, wiping the blood from his face. She frowned, but didn't protest, and he continued, "Thanks for the help, you gave me the time to breathe I needed, but the only one who can kill AFO is me. That hasn't changed. So just watch."

"A dog that bites must be put down," AFO blasted Gigantomachia away, killing him, and the three students fell off of him. Kodai threw a large cushion under her and Yanagi and landed safely, but Shinso fell further away. Mina ran to catch him and Sasuke's focus was only centered on AFO through the rain. Sasuke recreated his Majestic Attire and made it more integral to himself this time, enhancing not just his outside appearance, but even the bones and muscles inside his body.

AFO asked, "Now then, where were we?"

Sasuke took one last deep breath and thought, 'He's younger now... and he mentioned something about a timer. Could he be rewinding in age like what Eri's quirk can do? That must be it. In that case... there's my winning condition.'

Sasuke flew toward AFO and dodged an energy beam. He sent a wave of Amaterasu toward AFO that he attempted to shoot through, but Amaterasu flames could be extinguished, and some landed on him. "How annoying." AFO's tendrils lunged for Sasuke.

Sasuke drew closer and sent another wave of Amaterasu that destroyed the tendrils and he punched AFO across the face.

AFO returned the hit, but Sasuke landed more until AFO kicked him away. After he finished skidding on the ground, he threw a kunai and manifested his V3 Susanoo, showering AFO with Magatama Beads. Afo flew out of the way, but this time Sasuke swapped AFO's position with the kunai and forced him to take all of the hits head-on.

There was now only one tomoe in Sasuke's eye left, but he just smiled as the smoke cleared, revealing AFO livid in a child-like form.

AFO seethed, clenching his fist and yelled, "You damn bastard!" He almost charged in, but thought, 'Now that I'm in this form, my quirks are getting harder to control... if I regress again, I won't be able to maintain any control... I can just kill Sasuke later once I meet with Shigaraki! My priority right now should be reaching him!'

AFO turned and flew away, making Sasuke blink. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING?!"

Sasuke charged after him. Both of them cut through the air faster than jets, and Gigantomachia's body quickly disappeared from sight. Sasuke thought, 'Damn it... I can use Amenotejikara one more time today, but I can't waste it…'

Every part of his body hurt, and he felt tired with heavy breaths that made his chest heave rapidly, but he had no choice but to keep moving forward until the source of his hatred was exterminated.

He pulled from all reserves of his mental and physical energy and increased the size of his Majestic Attire to that of the Full Susanoo, and it drew its bow, letting off multiple arrows that nearly hit AFO, who only barely dodged with a strained expression. "Back off you fool! You can't catch up to me now!"

"You're a pathetic so-called demon lord! Running away from a teenager! Can't even finish off someone that's supposed to just be a brat, right?"

His comments stung, and his arrows stung harder as he shot Magatama beads alongside them, and they blew up near AFO, interrupting his flight and slowing him down while nearly blowing him out of the air.

AFO grinded. His teeth and thought, 'I've wanted to save my strength, but if I'm ever to reach my goal, I need to annihilate this thorn in my side in its entirety!'

"You're nothing but a pebble! Our fates aren't intertwined! There's nothing special about you at all! You are one of many orphans I have created, nothing more! I don't need your quirks anymore! I just need you dead!"

AFO halted his flight and gathered the power of every single quirk he's collected in his life. It collected into a hundred-meter-wide mass of body-horror with a beam of light in its center that encompassed the result of every theft and murder AFO ever committed. And it was sent straight toward Sasuke. "OMNI FACTOR UNLEASH!"

But Sasuke didn't panic, a smile crossed his blood-coveted face while he took aim toward not the attack coming at him, but AFO directly behind it. At the same time, he raised his hand toward the sky and drew forth another Kirin that he directed toward himself, harnessing its power into the arrow alongside an Amaterasu.

Moments before Sasuke released the arrow he stated, "I don't care about proving that I'm as strong as Prime All Might, or that I'm special to you, or that we have any kind of intertwined fate. You killed my parents, that's all there is to it. So just die for me already... Amenotejikara."

In an instant, Sasuke's position swapped with a single raindrop falling behind AFO's vulnerable form. The massive beam attack passed harmlessly through empty air while Sasuke materialized directly behind his greatest enemy with his bow drawn. AFO's eyes widened in shock as he sensed the presence behind him, but it was too late. The arrow made of lightning, inextinguishable flame, and Sasuke's hatred hit AFO faster than he could even perceive and a large explosion eviscerated him. He rapidly regenerated and slowly regressed in age all the while screaming. 'NO! NO NO NO NO! THIS WASN'T THE PLAN! HE'S A NOBODY! HOW COULD THIS!? NOO!' First he turned into a toddler, then a baby, then a mere egg, before disappearing.

The attack caused a beam of light to destroy the mountain below them and went high above the clouds, dissipating the thunderstorm and allowing light to shine down through the clearing as the attack faded.

Once it cleared, the light of the sun enveloped Sasuke in a warm embrace while he allowed his Susanoo to disappear.

He now flew only with the Susanoo wings on his back, but he felt so light as if he could fly without them now. 'Mom... Dad... Itachi... There's no one left... I've avenged you all... it's over…"

In a combination of exhaustion and mental clarity, Sasuke's wings disappeared, and he began free falling toward the Earth feeling freed.
