Chapter 265 Bottom Fishing_2
"This is the transfer contract, I've already signed it. I would've done so even without you saying anything." Mike's expression softened, he counted the money to calm his mood, and added, "This is my wife and child. They have nothing to do with you."
What do you mean by that?
I'm not interested in your wife and daughter at all!!
The General Sect Leader felt his reputation was under attack.
Taking a deep breath, Allen Zhang controlled his emotions and checked the contract. Finding no issues, he signed it promptly.
Mike went back into the shed to pack his luggage, took his wife and daughter, and got into an old Ford car. Before leaving, he left Mark with these words: "Good luck, you rascal. I hope you get along better with your new boss in my absence. Smile more, be more ambitious! No boss could tolerate that face of yours."
"I didn't need you to say that." Mark retorted stubbornly.
Watching the car drive away, Allen Zhang also sighed, "It's tough to manage family affairs as an official."
But fortunately, he was wealthy, and could solve 99% of his problems with money.
"Aren't you going to show me around the shop?" Allen Zhang looked back at an old man and a youth.
"All the vehicles have been sold off, just leaving empty land and buildings, nothing interesting to see. Do you think I can't do my job?" Mark replied irritably.
"You thorn in my side. Remember, I am your boss!" Allen Zhang sternly stated.
"Maybe these two dogs could show you around!" Mark pointed at the shivering bulldogs.
"Then I might as well just pay them instead," Allen Zhang said irritably, "and here I was thinking of having you help repair that A10 attack plane."
"Sorry, I'm not interested... Wait, what did you say?" Mark's face changed instantly, he leaned in incredulously, "An A10 attack plane? The Warthog? Boss, you want me to repair a fighter plane? Where did you get it?"
"No. You heard wrong," Allen Zhang said calmly.
"Impossible! I definitely didn't hear wrong! Fury heard it too, you definitely mentioned the A10 Warthog Attack Plane! WTF!! You actually have a fighter plane and want me to repair it?" Mark became incredulous and excited.
Allen Zhang calmly said, "Considering your attitude towards me, I might just change my mind."
"Boss, please don't be like this, it's my fault, I was too young, too impulsive. I can take you to become acquainted with the facilities and custom shop right now! Where is your A10 stored? Is it in the suburban hangar? Can I go now?"
Mark couldn't stop talking about the Warthog Attack Plane, clearly eager to get his hands on modifying it, showing a drastic change from his usual despondent demeanor.
Allen Zhang nodded: "It's in the suburban hangar, the place you visited last time. However, not all parts have been transported there yet, and my team has just started assembling and repairing. It's perfect timing to have someone skilled like you to lend a hand."
"When I was ten, I could perfectly assemble the A10 models!" Mark immediately assured solemnly, "Leave it to me! I can definitely handle it!"
"Okay, just don't disappoint me. You can ask professional ground crew if you have any questions," Allen Zhang readily agreed.
It seems it might be challenging for this young man to switch professions, but it also fulfills his dream.
Next, Old Fury also took Allen Zhang to tour the suburban custom shops and car sales locations. He had been here before when buying a recreational vehicle, not much had changed.
Allen Zhang also inquired about revenue and work-related issues.
"Now several suburban custom shops have shut down, taken over by new management, and will likely open in a few days. Every day, a continuous stream of scrapped vehicles are transported to the automotive graveyard. Previously, boss Mike would outsource to purchase stock, and many scavengers would hunt for recyclable parts in the graveyard for us to buy cheaply from them. Also, parts are usually cheaper in the street channels, but now that line is broken."
Old Fury said, "The profit from a custom car ranges from 200 to 8,000 US Dollars. High-performance cars don't lack buyers, but regular cars primarily attract poorer folks with relatively lower profit, yet with stable revenue."
"I also own a repair shop in the city and understand the operation model of this industry. We don't need changes elsewhere, keep running as before. How much profit it brings does not matter much to me since I have more profitable channels and businesses. Later on, I will also bring more people to help and hopefully expand the scale," Allen Zhang pondered.
"Then you'd better find some hardworking and reliable people, and also those with guts, since safety here can't compare to Los Angeles. Sometimes conflicts arise over parts and business," Old Fury stated.
"Isn't an RPG enough?" Allen Zhang retorted.
Look at my street level now, my equipment slot filled with high-end gear.
Do they really think it's my first visit here? Without even a handgun in hand, I was shocked by the lawlessness here.
Now, three days later, treat me differently. I even own a fighter plane, what can these people contend with me?
A downgrade attack!!
"That indeed should suffice..." Old Fury was speechless.
