Chapter 279: English is Good, Must Learn
Madison smiled, picked up one of the Spanish silver coins, and proudly introduced, "I found this coin at a flea market when I was 29. Back then, I was just a sales employee at a pawnshop. I always believed it brought me good luck, because it yielded me my first $60,000! With that first pot of gold, I opened my own little store, starting my legendary life! After I had money, I bought it back at a high price."
Allen Zhang was also a bit surprised, looking at the Spanish silver coins with varying conditions, as if each one was telling its own story. He then took out his own Horn Coin, opened the box, and placed it on the table.
"Though I haven't helped you complete the set, it's only a matter of time," said Allen Zhang.
"The condition of your Horn Coin is really good," Madison exclaimed in surprise, picking it up and examining it closely, unable to put it down.
"This coin was found inside a fish's stomach by its previous owner. They were very lucky!" said Allen Zhang.
"I like koi that bring good fortune," laughed Madison, then added, "Mr. Jin, how much do you want to sell this Horn Coin for?"
"Money isn't that important to me, and since this coin can bring Mr. Madison good luck, it doesn't hold much value in my hands. I only need to sell it at the original price," Allen Zhang said with a smile, "Being able to use this coin to make friends with Mr. Madison is enough for me."
"How can that be? Five million then, I'll buy this coin. After all, I can't let you leave empty-handed, otherwise, it might look like I'm taking advantage of people," Madison shook his head and immediately offered a price.
"Ok. It's a deal," nodded Allen Zhang. Indeed worthy of a great collector, so generous.
"Cheers!!"
The two raised their glasses and drank heartily.
They exchanged laughter and chatted for a bit. Feeling a bit unwell, Madison excused himself, taking his collection and leaving, leaving only his female assistant to help with the transaction process.
The General Sect Leader provided Gwen with the account of the Hanberger Foundation, and the transaction was swiftly carried out. Receiving the notification of the deposit, income +$5 million.
Allen Zhang showed a satisfied smile, and his female assistant also approached, hinting flirtatiously, "Mr. Jin, there's still some time until the party starts, do you want me to help you bathe and change, maybe give you a massage?"
"Of course." Allen Zhang accepted her kind offer and walked into the bathroom suite with her wrapped in his arms.
What followed was naturally very comfortable, and little Allen was also energized.
An hour later, Allen Zhang, feeling refreshed, walked out, followed by his assistant Gwen, who was blushing and a bit wobbly on her legs.
Allen Zhang considerately suggested she rest a bit, then headed to the lobby, and from Bunny Girl, he grabbed a glass of ice water to quench his thirst.
Colonel Wood, who had been waiting, came over with a drink, saying meaningfully, "Mr. Jin, your meeting sure was long. It's good to be young!"
"No way around it, it's a gift," Allen Zhang responded smilingly. "Colonel Wood, you must have felt the same when you were young."
Colonel Wood did not agree, but he said nothing.
"I heard you invested in an Armed Nation and did some dealings with the military in Los Angeles," Colonel Wood asked with a smile.
"That's right, I've always been very interested in arms trading news, though I rarely get a hold of anything great, generally only managing small deals since Armed Nation needs qualifications," Allen humbly replied.
"You're a billionaire now, having acquired a recycling company, you won't have any more troubles in this life. You already have sufficient qualifications; issues of qualification are for outsiders."
Colonel Wood smiled, glanced around, and said, "I actually have some items I'd like to get off my hands, would you be interested, Mr. Jin?"
Allen Zhang did not expect that, without having much of a conversation, when he was thinking of discussing the idea of buying arms, the other party proactively made the offer.
It seems being a billionaire works wherever you go, after all, you have real money, and they genuinely want to make money off you.
Exchanging resources for a better future for everyone, why not?
"Mr. Wood, please go ahead," Allen Zhang nodded.
"We've recently procured a batch of Black Hawk Helicopters and Apache helicopters. Currently, we have seven service Black Hawks scheduled for decommissioning and for the export list, but we haven't found a suitable buyer yet. Several qualified Armed Nations and companies have contacted us, but their offers weren't satisfying," Colonel Wood stated.
"How much are you planning to sell one Black Hawk Helicopter for?" Allen Zhang inquired.
"The market price for the Black Hawk Helicopter is $7 million. However, our helicopters have been in service for many years, with many issues and parts concerns unaddressed, so the secondary market price is only between $200,000 to $500,000," Colonel Wood replied.
"I heard someone bought a Black Hawk Helicopter for $700,000," Allen Zhang said, puzzled.
"That must be about a damaged, decommissioned machine. Normally, such armed helicopters need to be sent to an airplane graveyard for processing and to remove and document their cannons and machine guns; essentially, they cannot be exported again. But our Black Hawks are normally decommissioned without many issues and can be sold normally, with equipment and cannons and various instruments intact. However, the military area wants to export retired machines generally requiring qualifications, which we currently don't have, so we plan to internally sell each Black Hawk for $2.6 million to $3 million."
