Chapter 85: The Simpson Demon Family – Chaos in the Dimension of Hell
In the Endless Domain, in an ancient, thick, and scarlet castle, Demon Bart sits high on his throne.
He is the most powerful demon lord around and the most evil of the Simpson demon family.
Even Mephisto, the Lord of Hell, has personally admitted that Bart is the most evil among many demons, even surpassing Faith himself.
This once made Bart very proud, and it made him more brutal in his actions and dealings with others.
Today, as he was preparing to slaughter a group of low-level demons, as per his usual habits, a mysterious call appeared in his mind.
"Is there a human calling me?" Bart, the demon, suddenly became intrigued.
Since Kamar-Taj established three holy places on Earth, most Dimensional Lords has almost lost its connection to the Earth. Additionally, that group of damned magicians had repeatedly encircled and suppressed them, and their followers on Earth were completely wiped out.
As a result, weaker Demons can no longer communicate with him.
Only those powerful and noble dimensional lords may have channels to spread their influence on Earth.
Although Bart believes his evil is on par with those noble beings, his strength is still lacking.
Compared to the Dimensional Lords, his power is insignificant. Even if humans wanted to fall into darkness, he would not be their first choice.
So, Bart vents his anger and brutality on demons of similar strength. Every day, demons perish under his cruel and fearsome rule.
Yet, due to his power and the even stronger Simpson demon lords behind him, other demons dare not speak out and can only endure his tyranny.
Now, seeing a human suddenly trying to strike a deal with him, Bart's mind began to race.
"It's been a long time since I played with humans, and now I finally have a chance!"
"When I capture that delicious soul, I believe Lisa will be jealous of me!"
"Let me see what the deal is..." he mused.
"Dear Lord Bart, I am Aaron, the magic apprentice of Kamar-Taj. I long for powerful dark forces to avenge the magicians who laughed at me! I hope you can grant me infinite power and I offer my soul in a hundred years."
"A hundred years? How is that possible? Ten years at most!"
Although Bart has an eternal lifespan, a hundred years is merely a nap for him, but with his level of evil, how could he wait a century? Ten years is already too long!
If not for the fear of scaring away this rare human, Bart would have ended the deal sooner.
As for the mention of infinite power in the contract, Bart didn't even consider it and ignored it.
How great is his strength? How much could a weak human body even bear?
Even if he gave a little, it would be more than enough to satisfy the human.
Now the only question was whether the human would agree to the deal.
If not, Bart would simply go find another demon lord, or even Faith, Lord of Hell. Then, there would be no deal for Bart.
As Bart waited eagerly, he quickly received a response.
Almost instantly!
It seemed the human feared that Bart might refuse.
"Sign your name now!"
The deal was done.
Bart chuckled. He couldn't wait to show off his new soul to his siblings.
The trade begins.
Due to the power of the contract, Bart channels his energy into Earth through the contract.
Aaron, standing in the magic circle, begins to absorb Bart's power.
The negative abilities are immediately eliminated, having no effect on Aaron.
As for the terms of the contract? Aaron never intended to honor them.
Borrowing magic from the dimension lords, especially dealing with the dimensional lords of the dark dimension, is never without consequence.
The lords of Hell are fond of souls. Once you strike a deal with them, your fate is sealed.
Most would avoid trading with hell demons, wanting power without dying.
But Aaron is different.
Bart's expectations are high, but whether they meet Aaron's appetite is another matter.
As time passes, Bart, imagining a bright future, begins to sense something is wrong.
He has given so much power, yet the human is still unsatisfied.
Aren't Kamar-Taj's apprentices human?
The man named Aaron, why hasn't he stopped?
Bart looks closer, realizing that the human seems ready to drain him dry!
"Suck me dry?" Bart licks his lips, doubting the human's strength.
He's just an apprentice, how capable can he be? Probably just greedy.
But let him be greedy! The more greedy he is, the more Bart will enjoy it!
Bart resolves to make Aaron give him more souls.
It would be perfect to develop followers, create a cult, and spread his name as the most evil demon! Then, after 20 years, he could harvest all those greedy souls.
But after a while, Bart hesitates.
"Isn't that enough? It's too much, I can't take it anymore!"
"This guy… is strange!"
According to his past experiences, humans simply couldn't bear so much hell energy. Especially the negative aura it contained, enough to drive anyone mad.
Yet, Aaron hasn't stopped. It's like a bottomless pit, greedily devouring his energy.
Does this human really want infinite power?
Bart's face darkens.
Though he's powerful, his energy is finite. If Aaron continues, he might actually be drained.
When his power weakens, perhaps it will give those demons he's tortured an opportunity to rise.
"Damn it! How dare you play with me!" he roars.
"I'll remember you, Aaron!"
Bart isn't stupid. He quickly realizes he's been tricked.
No wonder Aaron was so eager to revise the contract and agreed instantly—it turns out the human was hoping to get something for nothing!
Bart has no choice but to terminate the contract.
If he violates it, he can no longer use the contract's power to harvest souls on Earth.
"Rotten bastard! If you dare lie to me, Mr. Bart, you'll die a miserable death!" Bart's furious scream echoes through the castle.
The demons around him tremble in fear.
As Bart stops transmitting energy, Aaron shakes his head in dissatisfaction.
"Is this the limit of a famous demon lord?" he mutters.
"And he's supposed to be the most evil and brutal demon, Bart?"
"Seems like the demon lords are nothing special..."
"Well, let's move on to the next one..."
He scans the realm. "Let me see... Bart's sister, Lisa Simpson!"
"Another powerful demon."
"Since it started with Bart, let's go after the whole family. No one should be left behind."
Aaron mutters to himself, preparing for his next round of trickery.
On the other side, one of the three magicians guarding the holy place approaches the Ancient One.
"Sorcerer Supreme, we've detected a disturbance in the hell dimension!" he reports.
"A powerful demon is trying to break through the holy place's defenses!"
"It's alright, it's just a weakling. They can't break through the defenses," Ancient One replies without concern.
Ever since the holy place was established, there has been no shortage of dimensional lords attempting to breach the magical defenses.
Some of them even clashed together, but all efforts were in vain.
Gradually, it became clear that Kamar-Taj's defenses were impenetrable, and dimensional creatures stopped trying to make unnecessary moves.
Now, a new demon has appeared, but Ancient One isn't worried.
However, the number of demons attacking the magical defenses begins to rise rapidly. More and more powerful demons join the assault, all seemingly targeting Kamar-Taj.
They seem to be venting, as if they share a common enemy they're eager to obliterate.
This strange behavior catches the attention of many magicians. Kamar-Taj and the dimensional creatures realize that there must be some deep-seated hatred.
"Could it be Aaron?" Ancient One wonders, realization dawning on him.
A slight smile appears on his lips as he watches the demons assault the defenses.
These demons are the victims of their own greed.
Greedy demons are finally paying the price for their avarice.
In the hell dimension, a roar echoes throughout, shaking the entire dimension. All beings hear the hatred and killing intent in the voice.
Even the demon lords attacking the barrier between hell and Earth are drawn to it.
All demons change their expressions.
The roar belongs to the son of Mephisto, the powerful and brutal Black Heart Demon.
It is said he possesses strength rivaling that of Mephisto, and he's more ferocious than his father.
He has even openly expressed his ambition to become the Lord of Hell.
Yet Mephisto has remained silent on the matter.
This silence only confirms the Black Heart Demon's power.
Why is this powerful lord so enraged?
Could it be...?
The demon lords exchange uneasy glances, and a terrifying thought crosses their minds.
The Black Heart Demon has been tricked as well!
This human is too bold!
Back in the central area of the hell dimension, the Black Heart Demon stands furious.
"What's going on with that black-hearted fool?" Mephisto mutters, stepping out of his castle and sending someone to investigate.
When he sees the Black Heart Demon leading an assault with a group of powerful demons, his confusion deepens.
At the same time, a sense of unease fills him.
He knows the Black Heart Demon wants to replace him, but his strength is still lacking, and Mephisto has kept him in check.
But now, with the demons united, their strength could threaten Moto Faith's rule.
He also notices a powerful demon family, the Simpsons, who wield significant influence in hell.
Though Mephisto is the Lord of Hell, his power over the entire realm is not absolute.
Demons are not united. They often plot and kill each other.
On the surface, they follow Mephisto's orders, but in reality, most demons obey their own interests.
It's rare to see a common enemy emerge, as they do now.
This causes Moto Faith to doubt the Black Heart Demon's motives.
Despite the surveillance, how did the Black Heart Demon manage to deceive him and unite with so many powerful demon lords?
Meanwhile, Aaron's contract with the Black Heart Demon appears before Moto Faith.
"Aaron? A Kamar-Taj apprentice..." Mephisto muses, considering the offer.
"Want my power?"
A gleam of wisdom flashes in his eyes as he realizes the opportunity to break through Kamar-Taj's defenses.
"This could be the perfect chance," he thinks.
