Anime Lottery System

I had challenged Whitebeard to a duel. My crew tried to talk me out of it and called me a fool except for Isabella who I told to get some appropriate battle music prepared, and Charlemagne who just wanted to have a turn after me. I didn't challenge him because I had any sort of vendetta against him or anything like that. The fact is that even though he's no longer in his prime, he's still one of the mightiest pirates in the world. I just wanted to test my skills against someone of his caliber. I wanted to find out how strong I really was.

As we stood across from each other, the hairs on the back of my head stood up in anticipation. I felt almost like my body floating in water, I'd never felt a rush like this before and the fight hadn't even started yet. That changed as I rushed forward.

"Roar! Zabimaru!" I extended Zabimaru towards him but it was swatted away like a fly.

"Hmm, that's an interesting toy you have there boy." Whitebeard said as I tried to swing it back at him again, this time he caught the blade in his massive hand. "You should be careful, playing with toys like this, you might hurt your self!" He said as he threw the blade back at me.

I retracted Zabimaru's blade to avoid hitting myself. I continued to make attacks but they were all were all blocked, and when I got too close Whitebeard would push me back with heavy punches.

"Heh, I'm not done yet! 30 Notch Drumming Slash!" I howled defiantly. I used the technique I derived from Brook's sword style, but with Samehada its effects were much more vicious. As a result I actually managed to make a scratch on Whitebeard's arm.

"Heh! All that for just a measly little scratch like this? Still maybe I ought to get a little bit more serious." He said as he used his Tremor-Tremor Fruit power to create a shockwave that sent be flying.

"Eh? That's seems like a lot more than a little bit serious." I thought as I made my way back up to my feet while wincing in pain. "I guess I better get serious too."

My adaptation ability had been working the entire fight but his punches just got harder and harder every time. It was too much for my ability to keep up with, it was almost useless in this fight. Still if he used his power one more time I could at least adapt to that. That is if I could survive another blow of that. I couldn't be tentative anymore I had to go all out. I'd use techniques I didn't even use against Charlemagne.

"Advance!" Advance is a technique Ohma Tokita uses to enhance his physical abilities by increasing his heart rate. In essence its effects are similar to Luffy's Gear 2. My skin turned a dark shade of red and my veins were bulging all over my body.

"Whoa! What's going on with the Captain? Has anyone seen him use this technique before?" Jack asked.

"No, this is new to me too." Yuma said with a look of surprise on his face.

"So cool!" Sig said excitedly.

"That jerk! He was holding back in our fight then. Ha! I'll have to push him harder in our next match." Charlemagne said.

"Impressive, so you can change colors. Congratulations! You have the same ability as a leaf, how intimidating!" Whitebeard said mockingly as the rest of his crew laughed with him.

"I'm not done yet! Bankai!" I howled.

"Ah, Gai is about to use his Bankai! This is going to change how things go." Yuma said.

"Soo Zabimaru!!!"

"Wait that's different too. Is this a new ability too? He must really be pulling out all the stops today." Yuma said.

"Well of course he is. He IS fighting one of the Four Emperors after all." Jack replied.

"Yeah I guess you're right."

I Had now unleashed Zabimaru's true form and I attacked with its full power. In conjunction with Samehada and enhanced by my Advance, I was now able to finally start pushing Whitebeard back.

"Hey, this is no joke. That kid is actually putting pops on his heels. Is he going to be ok?" Diamond Jozu asked.

"Of course, but if pops doesn't get serious soon he might be in trouble." Marco the Phoenix replied.

Whitebeard then jumped back to put some distance between us. "Not bad. For a snot nosed brat that is." Whitebeard said as he blew blood from his nose. "I'll put an end to this now!"

Whitebeard finally grabbed his glaive and put his Tremor-Tremor Fruit ability into the blade as well as his Haki. I had learned a bit of armament Haki over the past few months, but it was nothing compared to what Whitebeard was capable of. The impact was too big to dodge and I couldn't possibly block an attack of this magnitude. This desperate situation, was exactly what I had planned!

"Niko Style Ultimate Technique: Demonsbane!" I said as I put my hands out towards his attack. The impact of his attack caused a massive plume of smoke and dust that covered the entire battlefield. When the smoke cleared I was lying on the ground broken and bloodied, and Whitebeard was still standing. Though, he had a massive wound on his shoulder and he eventually dropped to his knee.

"Pops!" Marco shouted in concern as he rushed towards Whitebeard. "What happened?"

"That's the ultimate technique of the Niko Style. It's a counter technique that focuses the power of my opponent's technique back at him." I said weakly as I tried to stand back up again, but I was completely unable to move. I had redirected the power of his attack back at him, but I still sustained a lot of damage myself.

"Ha! No wonder you actually were able to hurt me. It was my own attack after all. What was your name again boy?" Whitebeard asked me.

"Well it's certainly not boy. My name is Buster D. Gaileo. I'm the Captain of the Beast Sword Pirates, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and a pirate for fun. Nice to make your acquaintance." I said with a smile as my crew rushed to my aid.

"It's a good thing we just got a doctor on the crew right Gai?" Yuma said as he draped my arm across his shoulders to help me up. I couldn't respond because around this time I passed out.

"You're really putting me to work right off the bat aren't you?" Celeste said as she started tending to my wounds.

"Congratulations Captain Leo! That was a beautiful fight!" Isabella said cheerfully over my unconscious body.

"Heh! A pirate for fun? What a strange guy! Seems like he has an interesting crew too." Whitebeard said with a hearty laugh.

"What do you think we should do pops? That guy turned out to be a real monster, but with him out of commission we shouldn't have a problem taking out their crew. He was a Warlord after all he was probably sent here on orders from the Navy. And look, that blonde swordsman in the kimono has been looking at us with bloodlust like a hyena since your fight ended." Marco said as Whitebeard's crew started to tend to his wounds.

"I'll tell you what you need to do Marco."
