Anomaly: Birth of the Strangest Demon Lord

Chapter 21: He is a Demon God But He was Human

At this moment, Alan was enjoying his time on Earth in his mansion.

He was also designing the next game.

He planned to make it entertaining.

He had ideas for several games, but he wanted to make the most interesting ones.

"Lord, Sir Adam is here to meet you!"

Mia opened the door wearing a maid's dress. She looked quite sexy in her white stockings and black skirt.

"Let him enter!"

Alan replied. He was sitting in a chair while moving small pieces made out of cosmic energy in front of him.

These pieces were moving in a certain pattern, creating different pictures. One of them was a long track with several different obstacles.

"Sir Demon Lord, we have the sighting of four races in our solar system. Should we go greet them?"

Adam asked as he entered the room.

His attention was immediately drawn towards the projection.

"If you go there, not only will you be ridiculed, but you might even be attacked. After all, out of seven races, four races want to destroy Earth."

Alan chuckled.

Hearing this, Adam clenched his fist and calmed down his anger.

To be honest, Earth had never invaded any other planets. The highest place they could go was the moon.

But after that experiment was done by Coltinip, Earth had been facing challenge after challenge, and they could do nothing about it.

And, it wasn't their fault that they weren't strong.

It had only been a few centuries since they got the power to save themselves.

Within such a short time, Earth was able to produce people who could destroy a planet. This was no easy feat.

If they were given more millennia, they would have more than enough power to rival the top powerhouses in the universe.

Alan didn't even need telepathy to understand his emotions. He chuckled and waved his hand.

Adam found himself sitting on a chair in front of Alan. He couldn't help but bitterly smile at the power that Alan was displaying.

No matter what, he was the strongest person on earth, but he was played around like a clown by Alan.

"Don't worry, this battle is also a chance for Earth. If they win four of the three games, Earth will win this battle, and you will get your prize."

Hearing that, Adam's eyes lit up.

"Sir, what would be the price?"

"I will rewrite reality, from its past to the present, everything will follow my desire, and Earth will become the center of the universe. This meant Earth won't be destroyed and will get a chance to improve itself."

"They won't go through any experiments or invasion, instead discover a power system for themselves and make progress on it, slowly climbing the ranks of strength in the universe."

"Of course, this doesn't mean Earth will be safe. As the center of the universe, Earth will still face many threats, but this time, you won't be an ant anyone could step on."

"You won't be a puppet that anyone could manipulate. You won't be a chess piece."

Hearing, Adam's eyes widened, and tears fell from the corners of his eyes.

He never thought someone would choose to do something like this for them.

Much less a Demon Lord!

He didn't know whether Alan could even do something like that. He didn't care. He just knew as long as they could win this battle, they would successfully change the fate of the Universe.

He dropped from the chair and knelt on the ground.

"Thank you so much, Lord! Thank you for giving us such an opportunity!"

Yes, it was just an opportunity, but it was more than enough to let someone like Adam fall to his knees and thank him.

"It's nothing. I also have my reasons for doing this."

Alan waved his hand to put himself back in the chair.

At this moment, Adam wiped away his tears and showed a look of hesitation. He wanted to ask something, but he stopped himself.

This was caught by Alan, who curiously asked.

"What? Do you have something to say?"

Adam nodded and asked.

"Lord, why are you doing so much for us?"

Alan raised his head, his gaze piercing through the walls of the universe as he replied.

"Am I truly doing this for you? Who knows?"

Adam knew the Demon Lord knew something that he didn't know. So, he didn't ask anything more.

"Lord, I will select the most talented people from Platinum Rank."

Adam said and bowed his head before leaving the room.

......…..

Somewhere Outside the Universe;

Inside the Dimension of Void;

"Interesting! This is truly interesting. I never thought there was something like this. And, they even allowed me to see this piece of information."

Three-year-old Alan turned into a teenager and watched a strange-looking planet through a screen.

This planet was completely hidden from the rest of the universe. Nobody could find it.

He was able to find it when his powers reached every corner of the universe during his Awakening.

[Sir, my statistics have shown that this planet has something that can isolate cosmic energy.]

"Yes, that's exactly why it is so interesting. You know, even the strongest races and most technologically advanced races rely on this energy to do anything."

"But this planet has completely isolated itself from Cosmic Energy. Normally, that should make them normal, but they could block my telepathy and also send information to my brain."

"So, how do you think they do this?"

[Sir, I have checked the history of this planet, but there is nothing we can find.]

'This is very interesting.'

Suddenly, Alan shifted his gaze towards something.

"Is this your doing? Because there was nobody who could challenge me, you threw something that could stop me."

"But, you are forgetting something. I was a human before I became a Demon Lord. You want to pave my path? I will simply jump out of it."

Saying so, he turned his gaze away and said.

"System, let's start a new project! Let's call it a project 'Multi-Dimensional System'!"

[Sir, will this project replace me?]

"Do you think so little of me, System?"

[Sir, you are the most willful person in the universe and outside the universe.]

"Hahaha! You are right. I am indeed the most willful person. And, why shouldn't I? I have the strongest power in the world universe but now, some people want to pull me down."

"So, this is not something to replace you but rather to upgrade you."

[Sir, there are very few things that I can't do.]

"Can you give the protagonist powerful treasures, abilities, or even resources?"

[No, sir]

"That's exactly what we are going to improve. This is a contingency plan for my failure."

[Sir, if you are so determined that your actions will lead to failure, why don't you stop?]

"Why?"

Alan paused for a moment.

Then, he turned his gaze. In an instant, it pierced several boundaries of the universe and reached Earth.

A large grin appeared on his face.

"Because I was a human before I became a Demon Lord. It has only been three years. Do you think I will forget everything?"

"If I were just a loser with no power, I wouldn't have these kinds of crazy thoughts, but I am the strongest being in the universe. So, why can't I give humans a better life?"

"Although there are consequences of doing such a thing, I don't fucking care. I will do what I want."

"But at the same time, I don't want to be a legacy character, understand? I want to be the protagonist, the absolute protagonist."

[Sir, how sure are you of success?]

"It depends on what you consider success. If it is about remaining safe after changing everything, then it should be less than one percent."

"If it is about my contingency plan, then it is fifty percent."

But suddenly, he paused and turned toward the screen.

"Do you think I will say that? Hahahahaha! I am the Demon God now. How can I have a single contingency plan? No matter what you throw at it, I will take it."

"No matter how much you try to drag me down, I will keep rising. This is not a story you can write. This is a story I'll be writing."

"Let's start, System."

[Yes, sir]

"Divide the Multi-Dimensional System into nine levels. But each level doesn't correspond to my strength. Rather, there are certain objectives one must pass to level up."

"By the way, we need to make sure I have enough resources to make progress. There is no need for a large space. This system will focus on my personal growth. "

"Also, don't forget to create the central power to hold all of the functions."

[Sir, what about those objectives and the function of the Multi-Dimensional System? Shouldn't we focus on them first?]

Hearing that, Alan placed his finger in front of his mouth and said.

"Shhh!"

He turned toward the screen and winked.

"That's a secret, right?"
