As soon as Alan said that, those eight children thought of what their grandfather did in front of Alan and followed his actions.

Leon appeared in a large mansion guarded by several people. When they saw him, those guards immediately recognized him.

"Sir Leon!"

They saluted as Leon nodded and walked inside the mansion.

As Leon approached a certain room on the second floor, he felt a powerful pressure.

This pressure was slowing him down, even though he was the Golden Rank Superhero.

But with his rank, he was still capable of walking normally. He reached the door and knocked.

"Come in, Leon!"

When Leon heard this, he opened the door and walked in.

The room was quite spacious. There was a large table near the window and a chair behind the table.

An old man with white hair and a long white beard was sitting on it. He had his hands folded on his chest as he looked at Leon and asked.

"Leon, do you know how powerful I am?"

Leon was confused by this question, but he still replied.

"Sir Adam, your Power can easily destroy this planet."

"Then, do you think a Demon Lord is weaker than me?" Adam glared at Leon and asked.

For a moment, Leon's heart skipped as he showed a bitter smile and said.

"Sir, I made a mistake. Please punish me!"

He didn't try to make any excuse. He just accepted his fate, believing that he had made a grave mistake.

"Bwahahaha! I got you. I got him. I told you I can do this."

The next second, Adam burst into laughter while slapping the table in front of him.

Soon after, two individuals appeared inside the room. One of them was a woman wearing a white veil and a blue dress with a floral pattern that covered her body.

The other was a middle-aged man with a large chest, short legs, and black hair. He had a ferocious look on his face, but Leon sensed no danger from him.

He was just confused for a moment. He didn't expect one of the strongest people in the world would make fun of him, together with the other two strongest people.

They were strongest because they were equal in power.

If they fought till death, both would die at the same time.

"Sir Marcus! Lady Angela!"

But Leon quickly adjusted his expression and bowed towards the two Rainbow-Ranked Superheroes.

Unlike other ranked superheroes, there were only three Rainbow-Ranked superheroes, and all of them were present in this room.

It was quite surprising even for Leon, but he knew three of them understood what he had done.

Seeing his expression, Adam slowly calmed down his laughter and nodded his head with appreciation.

"Although you didn't know the exact reason for befriending a Demon Lord, you still did a pretty good job. Once you reach Platinum Rank, we can gladly give you the position of Superhero Captain."

"It has remained vacant for quite some time."

Hearing that, Leon frantically shook his head and said.

"Sir, you mustn't do that. Several seniors will remain stronger than I, even if I reach Platinum Rank. If you give me this position, it will only create conflict among Superheroes."

Angela shook her head and softly spoke.

"But they can't kill you in a single shot, can they?"

Her words made him speechless. Of course, they couldn't. In the same rank, it wouldn't be so easy to defeat the enemy, much less defeat them with a single attack.

"So, you have nothing to worry about. Yes, you wouldn't be the strongest, but if that was so important, there would've been a captain a long time ago."

Marcus spoke with a serious expression.

Adam nodded and said.

"Your idea of binding this new Demon Lord to our planet is quite good. Because we are in a constant state of danger. If we encounter top powerhouses of the universe, we will be dead in no time."

"We couldn't do anything against those Shadow Aliens, and we can't do anything about the Demon Lords either. Because they are way above our league."

"They want this universe and even the dimensions of other Demon Lords for themselves. Their greed knows no bounds, but you see, that's why the Devil Destruction Formation works."

"They want our universe, and they want to transform our universe into theirs. They want to transform our people into theirs. They want everything for themselves, and they want it as they desire."

"Because, unlike us who absorb Cosmic Energy, Demon Lords are entirely made out of Mana."

"But, didn't that make my task bad?" Leon asked.

Angela shook her head and explained.

"Other Demon Lords want to transform our universe into theirs. They want to transform the creatures of this universe into their dimensional creatures, turning them into creatures of pure mana."

"Unlike Cosmic Energy, Mana exists outside the universe. Cosmic Energy is a term that we found later on. We have been calling it Dimensional Energy for so long that we didn't change it."

"But, what you might not know is that Cosmic Energy is simply a filtered Mana. It is a mana that gets purified by the barriers of our expanding universe."

"And unfiltered mana that exists outside the universe sometimes merges to form highly dense space-time curvature similar to a Black Hole that absorbs even more Mana."

"Until it absorbs so much that it turns into a new dimension. And, this dimension gives birth to its first and only creation- The Demon Lord."

"The Demon Lord gets full control over the dimension and Mana through the Heart of Mana condensed during the Demon Lord's birth. But because of this, they have strict rules for improvement."

"That is, they need to absorb mana of a similar level to that of their own Heart of Mana. Otherwise, they won't make any progress."

"Because of this, they want to devour our universe. Once they devour our universe, they can break the barriers of the universe."
