MTLNOVEL Chapter 3: First enemy
"I have to become stronger huh." Lin thought to himself as he looked at his hand for a while. He returned back to his meditative position as he closed his eyes but this time he started to cultivate and absorb the spiritual energy around him.
The grass, leaf, and trees started to flow as the wind flowed towards him very fast. The clouds started converge as it looked like a thunderstorm being formed. All the energy started to flow towards Lin as his body started to absorb the spiritual energy. His body was like a black hole not even sparing small fragments of energy.
After a while, Lin opened his eyes as he looked down at his hands and saw the spiritual energy flowing through his hand and sensed his energy flowing through his body. He had broken through 3 realm directly reaching Qi Circulation 4th rank. "The technique is so amazing. It absorb all the spiritual energy around him in a mile radius but sadly there is not enough energy or I could have just keep breaking through" He thought to himself.
Lin got up from the ground to his feet as he dusted himself and started to walk in a random direction. As he walked the farther he went into the forest and after a while he reached a clear and beautiful pond surrounded by many beautiful flowers. He felt relaxed and calm but his expression didn't show it. He went forward as he saw his reflection in the clear water of the pond.
His skin fair, golden ratio facial structure, black hair mixed with some white strands. His body muscular yet lean, height with 6'1". He forwarded his hand holding some water as he took a sip and said to himself "Taste good but doesn't have any spiritual energy".
Lin leaned down as a hammer bound with chains swung above his head. After dodging the attack Lin got up calmly as he turned back. A dark very muscular man with red eyes of 6'7" caught the hammer as he had a evil grin in his face. "Oh you puny human dodged it huh" The man said to Lin as his grin widened. "Hemial Demon? Your race still exists." Lin said as he caught the hammer thrown to his face.
The demons grin faltered as he asked seriously "Wha-? How do you know? Never mind". The demon tried to pull the hammer but Lin's grip was too tight not letting go of the hammer. "You-You are a 5th ranker but how-how can a human be so strong?" The demon asked in rage as his muscles bulged his veis bulging to the point of almost popping.
Lin disappeared from his spot and appeared near the demon punching his face as The demon got thrown back several meters destroying several trees with his body. "Qi Circulation 1st stage but so weak" Lin said in a small voice as he appeared above the demon and punched his chest slamming down in a ground as the demon's weight crushed the ground in a few meter radius. The demon spat out blood as his eyes went white. Lin looked down at the unconscious demon as he placed his leg on the demons chest and asked to himself "Why is this demon so weak?"
