Apocalyptic Disasters: Carrying a bun and hoarding supplies

"If you think that two hundred crystal nuclei is enough then go out and see if this many crystal nuclei will get you anything!" Bai Meiyue finished speaking; maybe it was because she was way too excited, her face had turned red and she was breathing a bit heavily. Seeing this, Xiao Wu hurried over to help her.

Bah! These grown men. Just because they were ability users, they were bullying Bai Meiyue; who were they looking down on? If one were to stare at Bai Meiyue's fierce stance and then at Fu Wan's attitude, they would think that it was Bai Meiyue who was bullying Fu Wan. especially when Fu Wan's already pale face had turned paler and her big, bright eyes were filled with tears. Her hand was still raised in the air as she pointed at Bai Meiyue aggrievedly, "You…you…you.."

When the bodyguards saw the woman trembling like she was going to faint, Fu Wan burst into tears and started sobbing incessantly, "She is bullying me. The wife of your master and the mother of your young master, how can you let her do this to me? Do something!"

The ability users simply looked at the woman with a hint of tiredness between their brows. What was this woman even trying to do? How could she say that Bai Meiyue bullied her? Just look at Bai Meiyue. She too was heavily pregnant and seemed just as tired as Fu Wan, if anything even more tired than her because she had been arranging everything in this mansion.

The leader of the ability users was having a particularly hard time. Initially, Fu Wan didn't like the north wing, saying that it was too desolate and silent but then she became jealous when she saw the many maids working for Bai Meiyue and her family while none came to tend to her. Later on she started making a fuss, saying that the air around the north wing was not good and she felt sick. To make things even worse, a mutated chicken ended up wandering around the north wing.

The second Fu Wan saw the mutated chicken peck a little lamb to death, she became even more tetchy. She insisted that the north wing was dangerous and she would never be able to live there with peace of mind. The attack of the chicken scared the bodyguards as well. After all, Fu Wan was pregnant with the flesh and blood of their eldest young master. They couldn't let anything happen to the child.

So they too came here to talk with Bai Meiyue and discuss the matter of changing the living arrangements. But who would have thought that Fu Wan would actually demand Bai Meiyue move out from her own space and let her stay here?

Fu Wan was used to throwing her weight around in the past as well as the present and even now when she was in someone else's territory, Fu Wan couldn't tell the situation clearly. They originally wanted to discuss with Bai Meiyue and ask her if she could free up a small room for Fu Wan, but the woman was simply too tyrannical. Not only did she want to get hold of the bedroom, but she also wanted the entire wing and wanted to kick out the host from her own home. What was even more despicable? After finding out that there were orphans, babies, and elderly people living around this wing, she wanted them to move as well. What kind of time was it now? Did she think that the infant who was just born could be moved around at will?

Even if they stopped her now, the young master of the Bai family would not scold them; if anything, he would chastise Fu Wan for acting ignorant.

The leader of the bodyguards wanted to appease Fu Wan and calm down the situation, as he knew that they could not offend Bai Meiyue, but Bai Meiyue, having reached her patience, had had enough. The reason Bai Meiyue was so angry was because the second Fu Wan, who had made unreasonable and excessive demands, was rejected; she raised her head and made a pitiful expression as if she were being bullied.
