The leader of the team was a perceptive man; he knew that at the moment, they were safer here than anywhere else. If they messed up, then they would have to travel to the western safe base, which was more than three thousand miles away from this base. They did have the supplies to travel that far, but Fu Wan didn't have the time. She was close to giving birth and needed a good place for that. If not, the child in her belly would end up getting into trouble.
Fu Wan was not their priority. The priority was her child, as per the orders of the eldest master Bai. Since that was the case, then why would they even bother offending Bai Meiyue for the sake of a woman who was not even considered important to their Eldest Young Master?
Bai Meiyue didn't say anything. She simply looked at the bag of crystal nuclei, and when she saw that it was more than one thousand nuclei, she huffed and waved her hand, allowing one of the men under Xiao Wu to reach out and take the bag from the leader.
"This is the last time," she said while Xiao Wu started counting the crystal nuclei with the rest. "From now on, try to stick to your wing. I will open one of the mansions very soon; if you stay quietly and don't make any fuss, then I will let you move into one of the mansions temporarily."
She then pointedly glared at the man. "And if you fail in doing so, then don't blame me for acting rude. At most, I will just deal with your eldest master.
