In exchange, she asked the men to either join in the construction of walls around the base that they had created or go out and hunt five crystal nuclei every day for a water supply that they would be getting in the mansions, fifteen if they wanted to buy meat or rice or vegetables from them, depending on the supply of these things.
If they couldn't even do that, then they were free to leave.
Bai Meiyue's demands were not excessive, and fortunately for her, these people were not like those who wanted to just sit down and do nothing. They agreed immediately, and soon more than four hundred and forty crystal nuclei were collected from each of the families, depending on the number of family members in each family.
