Siegfried who was gazing fondly at the recruits who were teasing and playing around with Historia turned his attention back to the speaker with a smile on his face.

" If it isn't our resident spy from Marley ~ I didn't expect you to grace us with your presence ~ " Siegfried said in a laidback tone as he gazed at the blonde opposite to him who had a tired look on her face.

Annie Leonhart the female Titan who had attacked him along with her comrades , Bertolt and Reiner the other warriors who were sent with her.

Atleast that was all the information she told him as for what he knew? That he kept to himself.

" Can I even be considered a spy now ? .." Annie asked in an annoyed tone as she asked for a drink because this man was irritating as ever.

" It's a pity that you are a bit more smarter than I initially thought .... I would have loved to strip the power of the Titan directly from you .... You know .. you could still choose to side with Marley , I am only a single person and Marley still has the Warhammer , Beast , Female , Colossal , Cart and Armored Titan " Siegfried continued in a laidback tone.

" Yeah sure~ ... So you can do whatever you are planning to do to Reiner and Bertolt to me right? " Annie asked with a bright smile making Siegfried let out a dramatic sigh.

" A pity indeed .." Siegfried said in a remorseful tone but the faint curve of his lips indicated otherwise.

" I have good instincts and my instincts warn me not to cross you and unlike those two I don't give a damn about Marley or Eldia , I just want to survive and I want to protect my Dad too " Annie said in a calm tone.

" That is one of the few reasons you are still alive .... But know this ... I am perfectly capable of stomping out all life beyond Paradise Island and if you have some clever plan of trying to use my wife or kids against me ... Then give up because I won't stop " Siegfried said in a cold tone as he gazed deep into Annie's eyes making her shiver as cold sweat formed on her face and her face suspiciously had a blush.

She hated to admit it ..... She Annie Leonhart was wet .....

" Cheer up~ It's a good occasion " Siegfried switched his mood as quickly as switching gears as he smacked Annie on the back making her lips twitch in annoyance.

One moment this man was threatening to kill her and annihilate everyone in the world and in the next moment he was cheerfully treating her like one of his students.

She still remembered the day this man confronted her about her identity, she had the urge to transform but couldn't due to the fear she was feeling.

The cold and ruthless Murderous intent he was releasing was enough to freeze her whole body in fear. {He has probably Billions or Trillions in his body count }

Annie knew the moment she tried to transform she would die , she was sure if it and she had a very strong hunch that the Attack Titan she faced years ago was this man in front of her.

She had to flee even when it was 2v1 and now that she was alone what hope did she have.

In the end she surrendered and she had to say it was a wise decision on her part....

Annie was lucky that she had zero loyalty to Marley and it's cause, as that helped her gain a bit of Siegfried's trust.

Annie knew that her father was the bargaining chip Siegfried was using and if she didn't have a weakness like that then she probably would have been killed.

Annie didn't know why Siegfried decided to trust her words { He can detect lies due to empathy, demonic heritage perk }, but she was glad she didn't have to deal with him being paranoid against her.

As long as she could survive and guarantee the safety of her father then she was fine with anything.

Siegfried knew this as he gone through her memories , and he had no qualms against this as she was an enemy.

He was stubborn but not that stubborn.....

" Reiner and Bertolt are planning to attack Trost district tomorrow.... Considering the fact that the Scouts regularly clean up Shiganshina this attack won't be that effective but they plan to open up multiple holes in the walls to force the Founder out " Annie said in a heavy tone awaiting Siegfried's decision.

She didn't feel an ounce of remorse in ratting out her team members because from the start she had different goals than them.

" You don't have to do anything ... I'll take care of it .... And thanks for the info as always ~ " Siegfried ruffled Annie's hair playfully making her roll her eyes at him.

Now it was his job to make sure no casualties arise and since they wanted to break the walls down so much then it was time that he sent those two on their way.

He had been watching these clowns jump around for a while , they believe the people of Paradise are devil's so he will show them tomorrow what a real devil is.

And with the events of Tomorrow his plans for the government would also begin.

It was high time he got to clearing these moths and with Eve nearly completing her task he can maybe begin the rumbling...
