ARIFURETA: Cooking to be the Strongest?

Hey everyone, just wanted to pop in with a quick note. If this isn't your thing, no worries, feel free to skip ahead!

I'm writing this here because I really don't want to clutter up the main chapters with author's notes.

1. So, this is my first-ever "proper?" fanfiction. Honestly, I started writing it to unwind after work and because I ran out of novels to read.

2. I first tossed it up on Webnovel on a total whim, just for "shits and giggles." Well, for some reason, the first 8 chapters have now bloated into the current chapter count. Crazy, right?

3. I've personally had my fill of stories constantly throwing system notifications and stats in my face. So, you'll find that stuff, like character growth updates, will be pretty rare here, or I'll just make a chapter summary of it.

4. That power system the main character has? Yeah, I dug that out of a really old notebook while cleaning my room. My younger self had some grand ideas that are honestly a bit "brain-damaging" to read now. Yep, good times!

5. You might notice some repetitive words or weird writing styles. Bear with me—like I said, this is my first "proper" fanfiction. I'm still getting the hang of it!

6. I'm writing this for myself. Yep, that's the whole reason I started this fanfiction in the first place. I planned to write an original concept first, but it didn't feel polished enough, so those ideas will stay in "that notebook" for now.

7. For chapter updates, it really depends on my mood and how many drafted chapter outlines I have for the story's flow. I might update at least 1 or at most 5 chapters a day if I'm not feeling lazy, or I might stop posting for a few days before uploading a large batch of chapters all at once.

8. And full disclosure: English isn't my first language. I do use AI to help with grammar, but I also try my best to review and refine everything until it flows the way my brain wants it to.
