Ashen Dragon

Chapter 94 Gold Dragon's Paradise

"Senior Titus, please come with me."

Aurora hummed softly, then extracted a teleportation rune from the gaps between scales.

With the rune flickering, the surrounding space gradually twisted, and a large portal, big enough for giant dragons to pass through, appeared inside the cave.

Feeling the unfamiliar spatial fluctuations, Cassius' golden eyes twinkled, directly seeing through the destination of the portal.

Half-plane.

Similar to all common planes, but an extradimensional space with measurable size and limited pathways.

Other planes theoretically could be infinitely large, but half-planes have limits, possibly only a few hundred feet in size.

Half-planes might exist for many reasons. They could be created by Arcane or Divine Arts, or from the wishes of a powerful deity or other forces. They might also naturally exist, like a fold in a cosmic system that separated from a constricted universe, or a baby universe growing in energy.

Recalling the knowledge he had learned before, Cassius watched the spatial passage and asked softly:

"Is this... a Half-plane?"

Aurora replied quite proudly: "Yes, our Lodz owns its own Half-plane, named 'Eternal Order Realm'.

It serves as a sanctuary for the Carved Skin Dragons, as well as our best training ground."

"Eternal Order Realm huh, sounds rather nice." Cassius sensed the vague spatial coordinates and repeated the name.

"Indeed, Senior Titus, you will know once you enter, it might be even better than you imagine."

A large and a small Gold Dragon folded their wings and entered the portal. However, for Cassius, who was over thirty meters in length, it took extra effort to squeeze in.

They traveled through the Etheral Plane passage, and within just a few minutes, Cassius had completely mastered the method to access the "Eternal Order Realm."

Half-planes are almost always docked at another specific location on the Main Plane.

Usually, this larger plane is the Prime Material Plane, but portals to half-planes can be found in the star realm, Etheral Realm, and any of the inner or outer planes.

Half-planes have certain pathway restrictions; first, they can only be entered from a specific location on the corresponding larger plane. Some half-planes are connected to multiple planes, therefore, each connected plane has its specific connecting point.

These half-planes typically serve as passages between unconnected planes or contact points between different universes.

And the Eternal Order Realm is a special locale linked to the Prime Material Plane, Heavenly Mountain, within the etheral passage, he could see several star realm conduits linking to the Outer Planes.

"Whoosh——"

Cassius only saw a flash of white light, and suddenly his view broadened, the scene vividly transforming from monochrome to color.

He finally left the etheral passage and arrived at the so-called "Eternal Order Realm", the homeland of the Carved Skin Dragons.

"This half-plane..."

Cassius looked around, only to see rolling mountains, babbling streams, and vast, open highlands.

It was a giant floating island with a diameter of several hundred miles, enshrouded by a mysterious, pale golden force field, while beyond the island, there was void.

The sun hung high in the sky, illuminating the earth with its brilliant light.

Cassius could tell at a glance that this wasn't the real sun, but a projection of the sun from the Prime Material Plane, and everything here,

—whether it be plants, soil, or flowing water—operated under the rules of the Prime Material Plane, albeit with slight differences.

For instance, under the influence of that mysterious force field, the Magic Web operated more regularly, and magical reactions were particularly calm, making it difficult to release powerful spells.

Under the sunshine, the vegetation here was lush and thrived competitively, Pegasus, forest deers, unicorns, and other good, beautiful creatures could be seen everywhere.

Within this half-plane, every creature's body seemed to be covered with a hazy halo.

The wind blew through the dense forests, making a gentle rustling sound, and the water also tinkled melodiously, forming a peaceful, calming symphony.

Deep in those mountains, surrounded by forests and built against the mountains, was a majestic monastery constructed with white stones, its walls carved with exquisite, mysterious patterns.

Focusing on those harmoniously intricate patterns, even the body of Cassius, positioned outside the world, felt tranquil.

As if a warm breeze had swept through his mind, easily clearing away the mixed thoughts of slaughter and bloodshed.

Cassius couldn't help but sincerely reflect in his heart: "It's really a nice place, befitting of the Metal Dragons, truly wealthy and impressive."

Aurora looked at the distant white palace, calm yet unable to hide her pride as she introduced: "Senior Titus, we've arrived.

This is the Eternal Order Realm, a sanctuary for souls, a monastic site seeking supreme order, and also a gathering place for Carved Skin Dragons."

Her tone suddenly paused, she blinked her eyes, mischievously said: "By the way, can you guess what is the biggest characteristic of our Lodz?"

"What?"

Before Aurora could answer, from the distant white palace came the sound of air fluttering, Cassius followed the sound and looked.

To his surprise, several golden, shimmering giant dragons soared into the sky, gracefully waving their wavelike Dragon Wings.

Under the sunlight, the Gold Dragons' scales sparkled brilliantly, as if covered in a sacred halo.

Aurora then smilingly replied: "You've guessed correctly, Senior Titus, every member of the Eternal Order Lodz belongs to our kin."
