"Qingyue!" Yue Wugou whispered as she opened her arms wide. Xia Qingyue rushed into them, and Yue Wugou tightened her hold around her daughter. "My daughter! My Qingyue! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" she sobbed, caressing her daughter's back and head while clinging tightly to her, as if afraid Xia Qingyue would vanish the moment she let go.

Ever since Yun Wuji had transferred all Yue Wugou's affection onto her daughter, Xia Qingyue became her entire purpose in life.

"Mom!" Xia Qingyue's tears began to fall freely. She buried her face in her mother's embrace and sobbed loudly. Since childhood, she had dreamed of this moment, of finally finding her mother. Her entire life had been spent moving toward this single goal. And now… now she could finally see her again.

Yun Wuji, Luo Guxie, and Yue Wuya stood silently, watching the tearful reunion between mother and daughter. Without a word, they quietly turned and left, giving the two enough space.

The two remained like that for a long time. Eventually, Yue Wugou loosened her hold, cupped Xia Qingyue's face, and stared at her beautiful features with misty eyes. "My Qingyue has grown up so much."

Compared to Yue Wugou, Xia Qingyue was a head taller, her figure more mature and full, and her demeanor far more elegant and refined. She radiated a noble temperament.

Even now, she still felt a swell of pride at having made him fall for her so completely. She clearly remembered their first time, how he'd told her she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

That memory still made her heart flutter.

"…To think my daughter would be so brave in love," Yue Wugou muttered absentmindedly. After the surprise faded, memories of her own life surfaced. Though none of it had truly been her fault, her indecisiveness had hurt many people, most of all her daughter.

"Mom? Did I say something wrong?" Xia Qingyue asked with concern, sensing her mother's shift in mood.

"Haha… no, no. I just remembered some unpleasant things," Yue Wugou replied with a forced smile. Yes, they were bitter memories… but from now on, she would forget the past and live only for her precious daughter. Nothing else mattered. Quickly changing the subject, she asked with a meaningful smile, "So, when are you and Fei Yang going to give me a grandchild?"

"A grandchild? That's too soon! We're still so young!" Xia Qingyue panicked, flustered by the sudden question. She had never seriously thought about having children. If she got pregnant now, they wouldn't be able to have sex often during the pregnancy, and she definitely couldn't accept that!

Sensing that his time was drawing near, he wanted to enjoy one final journey with his family.

It was a little sad, actually, despite how deeply he had loved Yue Wugou, the two of them had never once gone on a proper trip together since that incident all those years ago.

Taking four Moon Gods with him as guards and leaving Yue Wuji in charge of the realm's affairs, Yue Wuya set off with Yue Wugou, Xia Qingyue, and Yun Wuji.

Disguised to avoid attention, the group traveled across several well-known low and middle-level star realms.

Although these realms were far weaker than the high-level ones, many of them possessed fascinating scenery, unique cultures, and a variety of delicious local foods.

The group spent four days traveling through two middle-level star realms.

Watching Yue Wugou and Xia Qingyue laugh and enjoy themselves filled Yue Wuya's heart with peace. It seemed that his decision to leave the realm and take this trip had truly been the right one.

They stayed one more day in that star realm before departing for the Frigid Origin Realm in the far north.

The profound ark carrying them flew at astonishing speed, leaving behind a trail of white light across the sky.

The group rested in their respective rooms while the four Moon Gods stood watch, each guarding one corner of the ark with unwavering vigilance. Because of the tragedy that had befallen Yue Wugou years ago, Yue Wuya and the Moon Gods weren't willing to drop their guard, no matter how peaceful things seemed.

Without warning, as the profound ark soared through the dark void, the space ahead of it rippled violently. A massive, swirling vortex of light burst open, and from it, an enormous beam of starlight shot forth!

The pacing in this chapter was a bit rushed. I felt the Yama Realm arc had gone on for quite some time, so I decided to speed things up a little to move the story forward.
