The space around him shifted into a vast hall, its walls covered with crystalline mirrors, each one reflecting a different image of Daniel — his past, his fears, or moments he wished to forget.
Moonlight from the full moon streamed through the glass ceiling, and silver reflections danced in the air as if the space itself was alive.
In the center of the hall, a massive creature appeared — a silver spider radiating the power of mysticism and dreams.
Its body was made of shimmering silver crystals, and its threads rippled through the air like living dreams. Its eight glowing eyes, each shining like a tiny moon, stirred confusion in the mind with every gaze.
Its threads could weave complex illusions, trap enemies inside false dreams, and even read their minds.

"Mysticism, huh? If I remember right, the moon has always been one of the core elements in traditional mysticism and sorcery," Daniel muttered.
Mysticism also involves dreams.
The silver spider lunged forward, its threads flooding the air like living waves as they rushed toward Daniel.
The threads filled the space, and suddenly Daniel found himself trapped in an illusion of a dark forest. Shadows whispered his name while images of the darkest moments of his life circled around him.
Unfortunately for the spider, Daniel had already moved past these things.
A silver light, like a shining mist, filled the illusory forest, and the shadows dispersed like smoke.
The illusion shattered, and Daniel stood once again in the hall of mirrors. He chuckled. "That was your best trick?"
The spider hissed in anger and fired more threads, this time creating an illusion of a silver duplicate of Daniel — wielding Heaven's Honor and mimicking his movements. The duplicate attacked with its blade, a slash of silver light aimed at Daniel's chest. Daniel reacted by using the gravity aspect of the Moon Law.
He focused, lightening the gravity around himself, and leapt high, dodging the strike as if he were floating in the air.
The silver copy crashed into the ground with a crystalline screech, its sword cracking.
Daniel slashed quickly with Heaven's Honor wrapped in white aura.
The white glow cut through the duplicate, which shattered into silver particles.
The spider wove its illusory threads into something even more complex now, filling the hall with visions of Daniel's old enemies — shadows of Kylos, Malrik, and Velmiran, all attacking him with their weapons. At the same time, the threads targeted his mind, trying to read his thoughts and intent.
For a moment, Daniel felt his mind blur, but he tapped into the time cycle aspect of the Moon Law. Focusing, he sensed the flow of time and visualized the lunar cycle — new, crescent, full.
He tried to bring the illusion's flow to an "end."
A black aura, like a living shadow, devoured the illusory threads, shattering the images of his old enemies.
The spider recoiled with a silver-tinged shriek, but Daniel grinned. "We're not done yet, eight-legs!"
For its final attack, the spider wove its threads together, creating a massive illusion. The hall dissolved into a boundless space, with spinning moons in the sky and ghostly shadows charging toward Daniel. The threads not only created illusions now, but also tried to break his will, whispering fears and doubts into his mind.
Daniel combined multiple aspects of the Moon Law.
With the light of the Moon Law, he created a silver aura that dispersed the shadows. With gravity, he pulled the threads to the ground, slowing the spider's movements. With the time cycle, he pushed to bring the flow of this illusion to its end.

Daniel, using Death Energy and Heaven's Honor's white aura, and mimicking something he'd learned from the spider, crafted an illusion of himself — a silver version charging straight at the spider.
The illusory Daniel struck the spider with a blade of light, disorienting it. At that moment, the real Daniel leapt high, landing behind the creature and charging Heaven's Honor with a mix of white light and Death Energy.
His blade gleamed like a silver-and-black meteor, and with a vertical slash, he engulfed the spider completely.
The spider let out a crystalline shriek as its body crumbled into silver fragments, its threads fading away like a vanishing dream.

His overall sense of perception had increased dramatically — but that wasn't all.
With enough power and comprehension, he would eventually be able to craft massive illusions, turning an entire battlefield into a dreamlike realm.
He could even create a looping illusion and, with the time aspect of the Moon Law, trap an enemy in it for eternity — or turn it into a form of torture.
He had other ideas too — like combining the Moon Law with Death or Eternity Laws. That way, he could create even greater techniques.
On top of that, he could make illusory copies of himself and, with the Law of Eternity, make those illusions last indefinitely. By infusing the Law of Death, he could grant them a form of limited immortality.
That way, he could essentially turn his illusory duplicates into real copies of himself. If he could also imbue them with fragments of his will, it would be even better.
With that, he could be in multiple places at once, carrying out his plans at a far greater pace.
