Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 347: The House Of A Hero

Daniel lay on his bed in his room at the inn. It had been about half an hour since he separated from Ilaris and Andreas.

He told both of them not to worry about Lioran, and in fact, to avoid him as much as possible. He warned Andreas not to even think about engaging with him.

From what he had seen and heard about this Lioran, Andreas didn't stand the slightest chance against him, whether in combat prowess or strategy. If he fought him, only death would await him.

"I'll have to be the one to get this guy out of the way," Daniel sighed. He had no personal problem or grudge against Lioran.

Still, the guy had attacked him twice. Sure, it was unintentional and Daniel hadn't been the target, but at the end of the day, he had been attacked.

And even if he ignored that, the man wanted to kill his friends. How could he just turn a blind eye to that?

Most importantly, Lioran was messing up his plans. There was absolutely no way he could allow that. Even if heaven and earth were destroyed, Andreas had to become the next leader of the Lionheart family, and Serys had to become the next leader of the magic tower.

He stopped thinking about it and closed his eyes. When he went to the central magic tower, he would think about how to get him out of the way.

Time passed slowly, and sunlight shone on his face, waking him up from sleep. As soon as he woke up, he put his clothes back on and went to the inn's restaurant for breakfast.

At the same time, he contacted Andreas via the communication talisman and asked where they should meet. Andreas told him, "In front of the building where the auction will be held."

Without delay, after finishing breakfast, he headed toward that building. The place where the auction was held could only be reached by boat or flight.

Flying inside the city was restricted and impossible for security reasons, so after paying a little extra, he found a boat to take him there.

The trip took about twenty minutes. Upon arrival, his eyes fell on the auction venue.

It was a palace with four golden domes—probably the most beautiful palace he had seen in his entire life. It was obvious that a lot of time had been spent on its construction, and the architect had paid attention to every single detail.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" a familiar voice spoke from behind him.

"It really is beautiful," Daniel nodded in agreement.

"This palace is the biggest tourist attraction in this city. In fact, it used to be the home of a hero. But after the hero's death, it was turned into a tourist site," Andreas explained.

"A hero, huh?" Daniel nodded.

Then he turned to look at the two of them. Both were wearing extremely expensive and valuable clothes, clearly costing a fortune.

He glanced at his own clothes. While they weren't bad and still made him look as attractive as always, compared to theirs, they looked like trash.

"Seeing the difference in our clothes, I feel a bit embarrassed," he chuckled, deciding that he would definitely buy a few outfits for situations like this later.

"Well, you're handsome, and with that face, I don't think anyone cares what kind of clothes you wear," Andreas shrugged and said casually.

"I don't think so," Daniel disagreed. The way he dressed really did matter to him, but unfortunately, he hadn't had the chance to go shopping.

"He's right," Ilaris confirmed Andreas' words, her face turning as red as a tomato.

"Thank you," Daniel laughed and thanked her.

"Well, anyway, how do we get inside? Did you bring the invitations?"

"Don't worry, I have three invitations. But unfortunately, we can't go to the VIP section," Andreas shook his head and sighed.

"That's fine," Daniel didn't really care. After all, just a few days ago, he had experienced being a VIP guest at an auction.

It wouldn't be bad to experience being a regular participant this time.

Then the three of them headed toward the entrance. Unfortunately, the line was extremely long and seemed endless. A lot of people had gathered there.

There was even a black market nearby selling invitations at outrageous prices.

"With this situation, I don't think it'll be our turn anytime soon," Ilaris sighed.

"Unfortunately, nothing we can do. If we were VIPs, we could get in without waiting in line, but we're not," Andreas sighed again, glancing at the VIP line a few meters away from them.

That line was heavily guarded by guards, very quiet and orderly. Anyone who came only needed a few seconds to show their invitation and enter.

"You said your father also sent a representative. Where is he?" Daniel suddenly remembered and asked.

"He already went in through the VIP line. He's the representative of the patriarch of the Lionheart family, so of course, he's recognized as a VIP guest," Andreas said sarcastically.

It was obvious he was upset about this. He was the patriarch's son, so why should he wait in this line while some random subordinate of his father could go through the VIP section?

Why did his father even need a representative? Wasn't he enough? He was his son! This way, it would even be better for him.

But still, his father had decided to send a representative and completely ignored him.

By looking at his face, Daniel could guess what he was thinking. Still, it wasn't hard for him to understand why the patriarch of the Lionheart family had made this decision.

That man had done it so the other members of the Lionheart family wouldn't think Andreas was especially important to him, or that he gave him priority or special advantages.

It took about two hours, but fortunately, they finally managed to get inside. Even better, the inside wasn't as crowded or chaotic as the outside.

In fact, many of the people waiting in line didn't even have the right to enter and were just scammers or idiots trying their luck.

After entering, they quickly looked for the seats marked on their invitations. At least here they got lucky and managed to sit in the second row out of twenty.

They glanced at the walls of the hall, which looked like works of art—beautiful paintings and carvings that seemed to depict the battles of the hero.

They even showed the hero defeating the Demon King, and in another scene, forcing the Demon King to his knees.

"What you said turned out to be true. My other brothers and sisters were also attacked last night," Andreas suddenly said at that moment.
