Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 371: Failed As A Father

"You may start first!" This battle was supposed to be friendly, but for this girl it was actually a mission from the one who had sent her.

Still, Daniel intended to teach her a proper lesson with his terrifying physical strength — leaving her no chance of victory. Hiding his power wasn't bad for now, but in the future it could backfire and ruin many of his plans.

As someone who doesn't fear death, he doesn't care even if others hire assassins to kill him. Of course, that's only in the Celestial Domain. In his own world, naturally, he takes far more precautions because of his family.

Olivia launched the first attack, spinning her spear and thrusting it straight toward Daniel's chest. Her movement was fast and precise — clearly the result of years of training and fighting with a spear.

Daniel, without any effort, simply stepped aside, and Olivia's spear cut nothing but air. With a smile he said, "A bit faster."

Olivia snarled and spun around, swinging her spear horizontally toward Daniel's waist — a strike strong enough to cut an average Rank B in half.

This girl was at mid-Rank B, but far stronger than her rank suggested. She could probably fight even peak Rank B opponents, and when it came to raw physical power, even peak Rank B fighters might not be able to match her.

Daniel, with his monstrous body that was like a mountain of steel, lowered his wooden sword and blocked the strike. The impact was so powerful that Olivia's spear trembled, and she felt her hands go numb.

She jumped back, breathing heavily, but Daniel hadn't moved even a single step — as if he had only been struck by a light tap.

Her eyes widened slightly. She had just felt the raw physical strength of this boy in that one exchange. For a moment, she even doubted herself.

How could a human body be this powerful? Especially when he was only at Rank B? For an instant, she questioned what she had just experienced.

To be sure, she attacked again — this time with a chain of fast strikes: a vertical slash to the head, then a horizontal sweep at the legs, and finally a direct thrust at the chest. Each strike carried power and precision, but Daniel moved like a shadow.

He blocked them one after another with his wooden sword, every impact shaking the ground and scattering dust. Olivia felt her spear growing heavier, her arms trembling, sweat dripping down her forehead.

Daniel, without the slightest sign of fatigue, tapped her spear with his wooden sword — a strike that felt like the blow of a giant hammer. Olivia's spear flew from her hands, slammed into the stone wall, and its metal tip cracked.

Olivia's eyes widened as she stumbled back, panting, her hands numb. Daniel smiled calmly and said, "I expected more from you."

"It's not over yet!" Olivia growled. She wasn't only trained with a spear — she also knew how to fight with her fists, which explained her defined muscles.

She tried to punch Daniel in the face, but with a simple movement he caught her hand. His grip was like an iron clamp, and Olivia felt the bones in her hand creak under the pressure.

No… she was sure that if he applied just a little more force, every bone in her hand would be crushed. Cold sweat ran down her back, and for the first time she felt real fear.

What kind of monster was this? Where had Andreas found someone like him? Even more — how had he managed to make such a person his subordinate?

"That's enough. This fight is over." Daniel released her gently and said. He hadn't expected much from the start anyway.

People who could fight a whole rank above themselves were extremely rare. Even someone like Lana, who was recognized as a national-level prodigy, didn't have such an ability.

Olivia collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, her arms trembling, her body aching all over from the force of the blocked strikes.

Daniel, without even a scratch or heavy breath, set aside his wooden sword and stretched his hand toward her. With a kind smile he said, "You were good, don't get discouraged."

He didn't want to ruin his relationship with this girl so soon. He still needed to visit the Dwarves.

Olivia growled but took his hand and stood up.

This had been a friendly spar, but she had felt Daniel's physical strength like that of a terrifying monster — without using mana, just his body and fists alone could crush mountains.

"You're really the subordinate of Young Lord Andreas?" she asked again with a hint of doubt.

"As I said before… who knows?" Daniel replied lazily. Naturally, he wasn't going to openly admit to being someone else's subordinate.

"How did you two even meet? It's impossible for someone with raw strength like you to be just a normal person."

"You do know we're supposed to be enemies, right?" Daniel raised his brows in mild confusion and said.

"Does it really matter? This is just some stupid rivalry between a few idiots," Olivia growled with a mocking tone. She had only come here because her family had forced her.

The inheritance disputes and internal matters of this family had nothing to do with her, and as soon as her task was over, she planned to leave this place.

"Interesting. So you didn't come here of your own will." Daniel chuckled. From her eyes, it was clear she had been forced.

For a moment, he thought of the possibilities. Most likely her family had sent her here in exchange for something.

It wasn't his business, but he could definitely make use of it.

"Anyway, it's almost midnight, time for me to go." Olivia looked up at the sky and said. Tomorrow she had to wake up early to attend the event.

That was one of the main reasons she had agreed to come to this family in the first place. There was no way she would miss it.

"Have a good night." Daniel didn't stop her and said goodbye. After she left, he also headed back to his room.

Fino flew down and landed on his shoulder. Together, they returned to the room and lay down on the bed.

Fino wanted to return to its normal form, but Daniel stopped it. This wasn't a safe place — powerful people could be spying on them.

Better to stay safe than regret it later. Besides, if they were caught here, there would be no way to save either himself or Fino.

Fino grumbled a little but eventually curled up in Daniel's arms. After some gentle pats, it fell asleep.

"Ah, raising a kid really is tough… wait… does this baby dragon even eat food?" Daniel suddenly thought about something he had completely ignored until now.

Clearly, he had already failed his second day as a father.
