Erxiong curiously asked, "Haven't you eaten soup dumplings since you got here?" He assumed they had, otherwise why come here early in the morning. Foreign guests not used to eating Chinese food would likely go to a Western restaurant instead.

"We arrived the day before yesterday and have been eating Western food. I heard from Christine that Chinese food is delicious. She had some particularly tasty scallion pancakes, so I thought I'd try Chinese food this morning." Adrian looked at the bitten soup dumpling eagerly, "Even though it almost burned my tongue off, it's delicious. Should I wait for it to cool down a bit before eating it?"
