Chapter 305: At The Seafood Restaurant
Gasps filled the venue, and it became the next shocking moment of the night after the Shizi Dogs' win.
It was a good thing that Mark Li wasn't around anymore; otherwise, he would be instigating the entire situation.
Lina felt like she was being electrocuted alive. She had been so hesitant to confess her feelings, but Suzy managed to do it in front of a large crowd?
Kim's jaw also dropped as she looked at the pretty girl confessing her feelings to Kai in public. Was this the kind of people she needed to beat to capture Kai's heart?
However, the most shocked of them all was Sir Dao. He stopped in his tracks, feeling like his biggest nightmare had come true.
His precious daughter—one that he had treasured for his entire life was confessing to the boy he loathed to teach?

"What...did you say?" Kai asked, feeling whiplashed.
"I like—"
"Stop," Kai said before she could even finish her statement.
Yani felt her breath get caught in the back of her throat. "Oh no," she muttered.
Jet nearly screamed in shock. However, Yuze was able to cover his mouth before he could do so.
With that, Jet pushed Yuze away and turned to Shang with wide eyes.
"What is this?" he muttered. "Why does Kai seem indifferent about this?"
Shang placed his hand over his mouth. "I can't believe it," he muttered. "He's denying a big blessing!"
Kai sighed and shook his head.
Suzy pursed his lips and knew what was coming, so she decided to end the conversation before it spiraled down.
Of course, she still had to save some face.
With that, she walked over to where Kai was and gave him a hug. Kai froze as Suzy's arms wrapped around his torso. Suzy could feel his sweat transferring to her skin, and she knew she would be disgusted if it were anyone else.
However, the action just confirmed that she truly liked Kai because she wasn't disgusted at all.
"I just wanted you to know," Suzy said before turning around and walking away from him—as if she just didn't make the greatest revelation.

Kai felt all these sensations, and he didn't know what to do. He certainly didn't receive Suzy's confession, so why did his system accept it as such?
Kai sighed and shook his head before turning to Lina once more. However, as he turned around, she wasn't there anymore.
Shang wrapped his arm around Kai's shoulder and patted his back.
"Goodness, brother!" he exclaimed. "You're popular tonight."
"I would feel jealous by now, but I feel that you deserve it," Jet chimed, also wrapping one arm around his shoulder.
Kai shook his head. "Stop it," he muttered.
"Come on now," Shang said. "My dad's waiting up front. We're going to that seafood restaurant."
Kai nodded in defeat. Maybe he would be able to talk with Lina at the dinner table.
Meanwhile, Sir Dao needed to be escorted out by a medical team after witnessing what his daughter had just done.
"Suzy!" he exclaimed from the wheelchair.
Suzy turned around and faced her dad, sighing when she saw his anger-filled eyes.
"What, dad?" she asked.
"What did you just do, young lady?" Sir Dao exclaimed. "I allow you to be in a relationship because I know that it's integral to a teenager's life, but Kai Guo, of all people?"
Suzy clicked his tongue and turned away from Sir Dao.
"Whatever, dad," she said. "I'm not a little girl anymore."
With that, she walked away from Sir Dao, leaving the old man in anguish.
"What did I do wrong?" he muttered.

The Shizi Dogs arrived at the popular seafood restaurant and were recognized by passersbys.
"Shizi Dogs, right?"
"I just watched their game a while ago. It was epic!"
"I can't believe I'm seeing them in real life. They're much taller than I expected."
"And I can't believe that we're fangirling over a bunch of high schoolers."
"Reservation for ten," Coach Muchen said to the receptionist.
"Under what name, sir?" she asked.
"Muchen," he responded.
The receptionist flipped through the pages of her notebook and frowned.
"Umm, I apologize, sir. Let me clarify. That's for a group of ten, right?"
"Yes," Coach Muchen answered. "I called you the other day."
"I see," she muttered.
"Well, there seems to be a mistake."
The boys stopped chattering after the receptionist said those words.
"A mistake?" Muchen asked.
"Ah, yes. It appears as if somebody has also booked a table for ten for tonight," she started off, a frown still gracing her face.
"Someone must have made a mistake," she said. "They have mistaken you for the same person and booked a table for 20 people instead."
"Tell it to us in simpler terms, please," Jet said, his head already hurting from all the information.
The receptionist pursed her lips before speaking.
"You will be dining with the ten other people who have also booked a table for tonight," she said.
The boys frowned. However, Kai continued looking at Lina with longing, not really minding sitting with ten other strangers if it meant he would be able to talk to her.
"Can't the table be separated?" Muchen asked, massaging the bridge of his nose.
"It could, sir," she said. "However, it's in one of the rooms inside. We booked out the entire area for you since you're a big party. It also has a karaoke mission inside!"
Coach Muchen turned to the players to ask for their opinions.
Yuze sighed. "We don't have a choice. Are there any other vacant tables?"
"Hmm," the receptionist hummed. "Well, we have empty tables, but you'll have to be separated."
Muchen sighed. "Alright, we'll take the first option."
"We apologize for the inconvenience, sir," she said. "Right this way."
The receptionist led them to their table, or room, in that sense.
She opened the door, and Muchen already regretted it since it sounded so noisy.
Then, as he entered the room, he felt that fate was playing with the Shizi Dogs.
Coach Ben, who was on the verge of being tipsy, sobered up as soon as he saw Muchen standing in the doorway.
"Oh," the receptionist exclaimed. "What a coincidence!"
"Didn't you guys just have a game a while ago?"
