Chapter 472: The Final Vornis Smackdown
The arena shook as Vornis Abyss and Vornis Vale circled each other.
Both beasts were scarred, but neither gave in.
Drelmas clenched his fists.
"Abyss—now's the time," he called, his deep voice strong.
Caelan's eyes narrowed.
"Vale—use your full power!" he shouted.
Fiona hovered in the air, her eyes wide with excitement.
"Luxoria fans," she cried, voice trembling with energy.
"Let's watch the peak of this battle!"
The crowd roared in response.
Abyss's blue runes glowed bright, water mist hissing from its vents.
Its body shifted, forming massive pressure cannons on its shoulders.
A huge hammer fist also formed on its right claw.
"[Tidebreaker Shift]!" Drelmas ordered.
Abyss roared, the ground trembling as its hammer arm smashed the ground.
Vale's red eyes burned bright, Valenite veins glowing like lava.
Its claws twisted and extended into massive blood-forged blades.
"[Valenite Execution Shift]!" Caelan commanded.
Vale roared, its body pulsing with rage.
Its tail split into a saw-edged whip, spinning with deadly speed.
The crowd leaned forward, breathless.

Abyss raised its hammer fist, aiming at Vale's chest.
"Crush it!" Drelmas roared.
Vale's blades glowed red, its saw-whip slicing through the air.
"Slice through!" Caelan shouted.
Abyss slammed its hammer down, the shockwave blasting the arena.
Vale leapt sideways, the saw-whip cutting Abyss's side, sparks and blood spraying.
Abyss turned, its pressure cannons glowing.
"[Tidebreaker Shot]!" Drelmas ordered.
The cannons fired a massive burst of water and metal, roaring toward Vale.
"Vale—[Bloodblade Hurricane]!" Caelan commanded.
Vale spun, its blades forming a shield of red metal that deflected the shot.
It lunged forward, its saw-whip wrapping around Abyss's neck.
"Now!" Caelan yelled.
Vale's claws glowed bright, energy flowing through them.
With one final roar, it slashed Abyss's chest, the blades cutting deep.
Abyss staggered, its body shaking.
The pressure cannons cracked and fell off, mist hissing from its vents.
With a deep growl, it fell to its knees, then collapsed.
Fiona's voice trembled. "And the winner—Caelan and Vornis Vale!"
The crowd erupted in cheers, banners waving high.

They shook hands, respect between them clear.
Fiona floated lower, her smile bright.
"Luxoria fans," she shouted.
"Give it up for these incredible tamers and their Vornis!"
The crowd roared, banners waving and voices blending in one thunderous cheer.
Fiona's eyes sparkled as she turned to Caelan.
"Mr. Caelan," she called, her voice clear.
"Liline will now show you the way to the inner chamber."
Caelan blinked, surprised but curious.
"Inner chamber?" he asked softly.
Fiona smiled even brighter.
"Your prize will be given there," she explained.
She turned to the crowd again, waving her hand.
"And for the rest of you—don't leave just yet!"
"There's still a party and many refreshments waiting outside," she said, her voice playful.
"It's our way of saying thanks for coming here today."
She winked at the defeated tamers in the back.
"And to the other contestants—come to the party too!"

Liline appeared beside Caelan.
"Mr. Caelan," she said softly, her eyes bright, "please follow me."
Caelan nodded, his red eyes calm but eager.
"Of course," he said.
Liline smiled, leading the way through a doorway at the edge of the arena.
"Lord L is waiting," she said, her voice smooth.
"He has something special for you."
Caelan's eyes widened.
"Lord Lucius himself?" he whispered.
Liline nodded, her smile never fading. "Yes. Let's go."
And together, they stepped into the chamber, leaving the cheering crowd behind.
---
Caelan stepped into the inner chamber, the door sliding closed behind him.
In the center, on a high-backed chair, Lord L sat waiting.
Lord L looked up at Caelan, his eyes steady.
"Young Master Caelan," he said.
"We meet again."
Caelan bowed his head respectfully.
"Yes, Lord L," he replied, his voice even but filled with respect.
Lord L's smile widened slightly.
"Please," he said, gesturing to the seat across from him.
"Sit down."
Caelan nodded.
"Thank you," he said, moving to the seat and sitting carefully.
Lord L leaned forward slightly.
"Now," he said, his eyes sharp.
"Let's get to the point. What do you want for a prize?"
Caelan blinked, surprised. "The prize is… up to me?" he asked.
Lord L nodded, his silver hair catching the light.
"Yes," he said.
"I know you're already wealthy. After all, you're the first son of the Valefor family."
He paused, his smile sharp.
"You also have fine beasts—Titanhoof and Vornis Vale."
Caelan's brow furrowed. "That's true," he said slowly.
"I can't think of anything else."
Lord L tilted his head.
"If that's so," he said, his voice smooth as always.
"Then may I recommend something?"
Caelan's eyes widened slightly, curiosity sparking.
"Sure," he said. "Anything is good."
Lord L's smile turned sly, his eyes glinting.
He leaned closer, his voice low but clear.
He spoke a single sentence—soft but powerful.
"Is this good enough for you?" he asked.
Caelan's eyes went wide, shock and awe filling his face.
"Are you… sure you can do that, Lord L?" he whispered.
Lord L's smile turned into a confident grin.
"Of course I can," he said, his eyes glowing faintly.
"I am Lord L of Luxoria. There is nothing I can't do."
Caelan's jaw tightened, his heart pounding.
He nodded slowly, determination shining in his red eyes.
"If you can… then please do it," he said firmly.
Lord L's smile widened, his teeth gleaming.
"Consider it done," he said, his voice filled with unshakable confidence.
