Ben 10: Rise of New Ultimates

Ben whirled around, his hand instinctively reaching for the Ultimatrix. But there was no need. Standing before him was… himself. But not quite. This Ben was older, wiser, his eyes filled with a cosmic understanding that belied his youthful appearance. He wore a familiar outfit, but it was stylized and sleek. This Ben then remarks with a smile. "Hello Tennyson." Ben's thoughts were racing to see what was happening. Why was there an alternate version of himself again? And what did he mean by that?

"Who are you?" Ben demanded, his voice tight with suspicion. "What do you want?

The older Ben chuckled, a warm, reassuring sound. "I am you, Ben. Or rather, I am who you will become. I am the Protector."

Ben stared at him in disbelief. "The Protector? What are you talking about?"

The Protector smiled. "You've just reset the universe, Ben. You've averted a catastrophic convergence, saved countless lives, and unlocked a power beyond comprehension. But you've also created a void, a need for balance. And that's where I come in."

He explained that the reset had created a ripple effect throughout the multiverse, a surge of chaotic energy that threatened to destabilize reality once more. He's created a mess that's going to make him have to clean up everything all over again. The protector was from the future to assist with this task at hand to make sure that all goes to plan. Ben was chosen to be the successor to his future self. With the limited use of his power, it was necessary for a protector to keep watch over the new universe. He explains how it wasn't meant to happen for many years. But because he unlocked the evolution feature early, that it was now his destiny.

"I am here to guide you, Ben," the Protector continued. "To help you harness your powers, to understand your responsibilities, and to prepare you for the challenges that lie ahead. The universe needs you, Ben Tennyson. Now more than ever." This sets Ben down a new journey for what's to come to train and control. Even more powerful than Alien X.

Ben hesitated, overwhelmed by the gravity of the situation. He was just a kid, after all. He liked Sumo Slammers, video games, and hanging out with his friends. He wasn't ready to be the Protector of the Universe.

But he knew he didn't have a choice. The fate of everything rested on his shoulders. He had to step up, to embrace his destiny, to become the hero the universe needed him to be.

"Alright," Ben said, his voice filled with newfound resolve. "I'm in. What do I need to do?

The Protector smiled, his eyes filled with pride. "First, you must learn to control your powers. The reset has left you with a residual connection to the energy matrix, a latent ability to manipulate reality itself. But it's unstable, unpredictable, and incredibly dangerous."

He explained that Ben needed to undergo a rigorous training regimen, to master his alien forms, to hone his instincts, and to learn to channel his cosmic energy safely and effectively. It would be a long and arduous journey, but it was essential for his survival, and for the survival of the universe.

"I'm ready," Ben said, his voice filled with determination. "Let's do this."

The Protector nodded, his expression hardening. "Then let us begin. But be warned, Ben Tennyson. The challenges you face will be unlike anything you have ever encountered before. The enemies you will face will be unlike anything you have ever imagined. And the choices you will have to make will be unlike anything you have ever wanted to do. But you have to choose right. The universe's fate depends on it."

The training began immediately. The Protector pushed Ben to his limits, forcing him to confront his fears, his weaknesses, and his own inner demons. Ben learned to control his transformations, to harness the unique abilities of each alien form, and to combine them in creative and innovative ways. He learned to channel his cosmic energy, to project it outwards, to manipulate the fabric of reality itself.

He was unlocking new levels of power, pushing himself beyond his known limits, and becoming the hero he was always meant to be.

But as he grew stronger, he also grew more aware of the dangers that lurked in the shadows. The reset had not erased the villains, only scattered them, weakened them, and driven them into hiding. They were still out there, plotting their revenge, waiting for their opportunity to strike.

And Ben knew that it was only a matter of time before they resurfaced, stronger and more determined than ever before.

One evening, while Ben was meditating in the Plumber training room, he sensed a disturbance in the Force, a flicker of darkness that sent a shiver down his spine. He opened his eyes, his gaze fixed on the holographic display that showed a map of the universe. He glanced over to the protector. The protector nodded in agreement with a grim expression. An unknown alien was approaching Earth. With an intent to destroy. "Let's go save the world" the Protector says. Ben is then seen to activate the Ultimatrix. The team is assembled to deal with this new threat. However, as the new threat approaches, all seems to be dim.

The skies darkened, the air grew heavy, and a sense of dread washed over Bellwood. Something big was coming, something powerful, something… evil. As the skies get closer and closer a roar is shown. A roar that makes Ben have flashbacks from the reset.

And Ben knew that his training was about to be put to the ultimate test. Ready for one final battle. But what is to come? It is now time to find out. But the power of the opponent is something that Ben can never imagine. The destiny of the hero has finally come. It's all up to Ben.

The holographic display flickered, revealing the approaching alien ship. But it wasn't the ship that caught Ben's attention. It was the figure standing on the bridge, a figure shrouded in shadow, his eyes burning with an unholy light.
