Happy Harbor High School was the location of a little away from Mount Justice making the team fight in their backyard.

Miss Martian was located at the top of the school with her BIOSHIP hovering away above her in camouflage mode hiding away in the sky.

Aqua-Lad inspected an abandoned room with Shift who after inspecting spoke to MM.

-Miss Martian set up a link so that the Shadows can't hack out coms.-

And with but a quick thought everyone's minds were linked together.

-Is everyone online?-

MM asked curiously getting a groggily response from Artemis.

-Oh this is weird-

-And distracting-

Artemis sat on the desk next to Dr. Racquet who was working on the virus for the Fog. And decided to make Her grievances known.

-Coding a distribution algorithm virus on a kiddie computer with less RAM than a wristwatch is hard enough. Now I have to hear teen-think in my skull?-

Kid in his stealth suit responded in kind to the Doctor's complaint with a bit of a burn.

-Lady do you always complain when someone tries to help you?-

Artemis took a chance to smoke Mid and took it thinking.

-Pot. Kettle. Have you met?-

-Hey Hey I don't need attitude from the newbie who drove Red Arrow off the team.-

Shift then decided to break into the link chat by speaking up.

-Kid if you have a problem with how the League does things I'll let you have a private chat with Batman if you'd like?-

Everyone went silent Lad especially who simply eyed me and began to ask.

"Is this due to the actions Red Arrow did when you first met him?"

I didn't want to answer but knew if I didn't it'd look bad so I nodded my head only to hear Robin's voice echo throughout my head.

-Dang-

-Dude-

Kid simply back-talked Robin who felt hurt by Robin only to hear a snicker from Artemis.

Aqua-Lad soon arrived taking Artemis's position in guarding the good doctor while Shift monitored the halls.

-Can you track your machine-

A good question Lad asked the Doctor who then went on a rant about how it's beautiful science and all.

During her ranting Lad could tell the Doctor was struggling to keep her cool so Lad placed his hand on her shoulder and said.

-We will protect you.-

The Doctor calmed down if not but a little bit at Lad's declaration. And so she tracked the Fog via the internet giving way to their location.

Finding the target on a plane in Philadelphia with a man with one red eye had control over it.

As he was being tracked the Cyclops contacted the Mentor letting him know they were being tracked and that it was a two-way street tracking Roquette in turn.

After sending her location Mentor while in a meditation-like posture signaled his assassins to Dr. Roquette's location sending them her way.

Outside the school, Superboy could be seen keeping track of any who tries to enter the school and is suddenly caught off guard at the sound of rustling grass.

Once SuperBoy looked at the focus of the noise. Decided to refocus going to the other side of the school after judging the noise to be nothing important.

With one big jump, SuperBoy jumped over the school to both MM and Artemis who started at SuperBoy and openly thought.

-Umm that boy.-

MM who obviously heard this reacted as SuperBoy turned thinking.

-He can hear you ya know we all can hear you-

Artemis didn't seem to mind and even said.

-I know-

-*cough cough*-

Shift finally speaking coughed getting their attention back on task. Seems a little embarrassed at this fact.

Artemis wasn't sure what she thought but after hearing Shift cough made her blush.

Soon Aqua-Lad spoke through the psychic link MM established.

-Miss Martian Dr. Roquette has located the Fog.-

After that message, Shift stepped in as well giving MM orders.

-MM Reconvene the BIOSHIP to give Robin, Superboy, and Kid a ride to the target.-

-Understood-

MM with but a thought her eyes glowed green and the BIOSHIP soon circled around the school picking up Kid, Robin, and Superboy taking them to Philadelphia.

After the team's departure MM and Artemis went inside unbeknownst to them they were being watched.

After moving points, both MM and Artemis began arguing over embarrassing SuperBoy while a shadow infiltrated the school.

After entering the school the shadow moved across each hall until it was around the corner of the Doctors room only to be surprised by a sudden attack.

At the side, the Shadow dodged the attack bringing out her pairs of sighs getting ready to attack saying.

"Wow. A new play mate tell me can you last long?"

Shift didn't respond and simply drew His sword out from its sheath on his back getting ready to fight.

At the sight of her Shift reported to the team.

-Everyone we have a shadow in the hallway to the computer lab.-
