Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Unveiling the Truth
With the recording in their possession, Shina, Itachi, and Shisui knew they had to act quickly. The longer they waited, the more chances Daisuke had to tighten his grip on the clan. But revealing the truth wasn't just about presenting the evidence—it was about choosing the right moment and the right audience.
They needed a public setting where Daisuke couldn't simply silence them.

The Clan Gathering
A few days later, an opportunity presented itself. The Uchiha held a weekly gathering where clan matters were discussed, and nearly everyone attended. It was the perfect stage.
Shina and Itachi spent the hours leading up to the meeting spreading whispers among the more moderate Uchiha, subtly hinting that something big was about to be revealed. By the time the gathering began, the air was thick with anticipation.
As Fugaku Uchiha, the clan head, began speaking about the state of the clan, Shina exchanged a glance with Itachi and stepped forward.
"If I may, Father," Itachi said formally, "there is something urgent that must be addressed."
Fugaku frowned but nodded. "Speak."
Shina stepped beside his brother, his expression serious. "We have uncovered something that every Uchiha needs to hear. A truth that has been hidden in the shadows."
Murmurs spread through the crowd as Shina unsealed the scroll, activating the recorded conversation. Daisuke's voice echoed through the meeting hall.
"The time to act is now. The village has turned its back on us, and the Hokage sees us as nothing more than a threat."
Gasps rippled through the gathering. Daisuke, who had been standing near the back, visibly tensed.
The recording continued.
"By the time they realize what's happening, it'll be too late. The clan will already be under my control, and anyone who opposes us will be dealt with."
Shock and outrage spread among the clan members. Even those who had been neutral or leaning toward Daisuke looked shaken.
Fugaku's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Daisuke, explain yourself."
Daisuke took a step forward, trying to maintain his composure. "This is a manipulation. A fabrication meant to divide us. Can't you see? This is exactly what the village wants—to pit us against each other!"
Shina smirked. "Nice try. But the scroll is sealed with chakra recognition. Only those who recorded it can alter it. If you're calling it fake, then you're calling me a liar."
All eyes turned to Daisuke. The silence was suffocating.
"You're losing your grip," Shisui said calmly. "Give it up."
Daisuke clenched his fists. He still had supporters, but their faith in him had been shaken. He couldn't deny the recording outright, and he had no way to twist it to his advantage.
Fugaku stepped forward. "Until further notice, Daisuke, you are to be placed under clan watch. You will not make any moves without my approval."
Daisuke's jaw tightened, but he bowed stiffly. "Understood."
As the meeting dispersed, murmurs filled the air. Shina watched as Daisuke left, his expression unreadable.
"This isn't over," Itachi muttered.
Shina grinned. "Of course not. But for now, we've won this round."
