big brother shina: reborn in the Uchiha clan

Chapter 26: Chapter 26: Fugaku’s Decision and Daisuke’s Final Move

The next morning, Shina, Itachi, and Shisui stood before Fugaku in his personal chamber. The clan head sat with his arms crossed, his sharp gaze shifting between them as they explained the ambush from the previous night.

When they finished, Fugaku exhaled through his nose. "Daisuke has gone too far."

Shina smirked. "Took you long enough to realize."

Fugaku shot him a sharp look, but Itachi quickly stepped in. "What will you do, Father?"

Fugaku closed his eyes in thought. "Daisuke still has influence within the clan. If I move against him too aggressively, his followers will retaliate, and the divide within our ranks will deepen."

Shisui frowned. "So what? We let him keep scheming?"

"No," Fugaku said firmly. "But we must be strategic. Daisuke must be discredited fully, and his actions must leave no room for doubt. Only then will his supporters abandon him."

Shina leaned forward. "And how do we do that?"

Fugaku's gaze darkened. "We set a trap."

The Bait is Set

Daisuke may have been under watch, but he wasn't entirely restricted. His movements were monitored, but his words still carried weight among his remaining allies.

Using this, Fugaku crafted a false opportunity. He deliberately leaked information—through trusted but manipulatable clan members—that the Hokage was growing wary of the Uchiha and considering extreme measures against them.

If Daisuke truly wanted to overthrow the leadership, this would be the perfect push.

Now, they only had to wait.

Daisuke's Final Move

Three nights later, the trap was sprung.

Word spread that Daisuke was calling a secret meeting—one meant to be the final push for the rebellion. He believed that the time to act was now, that Fugaku was weak, and that the clan needed a "true leader."

But this time, the meeting wasn't just attended by his loyalists. Hidden in the shadows, Shisui and several other elite Uchiha shinobi observed everything.

As Daisuke stood before his supporters, he declared, "Fugaku has failed us. The village will never respect us unless we take power ourselves. By tomorrow, we will seize control—by any means necessary."

That was all they needed.

At that moment, Fugaku himself stepped forward, flanked by a dozen elite warriors. The room fell silent.

"You have spoken your true intentions," Fugaku said, his voice heavy with authority. "There will be no more deception."

Daisuke paled, but quickly composed himself. "You… you planned this?"

Shina grinned from the sidelines. "Of course. We knew you couldn't resist taking the bait."

Daisuke looked around. Some of his followers hesitated, shifting uncomfortably. Others stepped back entirely, unwilling to go against Fugaku.

"Daisuke Uchiha," Fugaku declared. "You are stripped of your status and confined to house arrest under clan supervision. Any attempt to resist will be considered an act of treason."

Daisuke's face twisted in anger. "You're making a mistake."

"No," Itachi said quietly. "You did."

Seeing no escape, Daisuke clenched his fists but bowed stiffly. "I accept my punishment."

It was over.

Aftermath

The following days were tense but marked by change. Daisuke's removal weakened the faction that sought rebellion, and while tensions with the village remained, the clan slowly stabilized.

One evening, as Shina, Itachi, and Shisui sat on a rooftop overlooking the compound, Shisui chuckled. "Well, that was dramatic."

Shina smirked. "Aren't things always with us?"

Itachi remained silent for a moment before saying, "This was just one battle. The struggle isn't over."

Shina leaned back. "Maybe not. But for now, we've won."

And for the time being, that was enough.
