Chapter : MC Appearance & Personality

The MC's personality is deeply shaped by his past, making him pragmatic, reserved, and cautious. Growing up as an orphan without parental love, he learned early on that attachments were fleeting and unnecessary. He kept an emotional distance from others, never forming deep bonds, relying only on himself. Even as he aged, his personality remained unchanged—steady, self-reliant, and indifferent to things that didn't directly affect him.

Despite his typically composed and pragmatic nature, there are moments when he unexpectedly acts childish. Whether it's indulging in small, playful antics, pouting over trivial inconveniences, or getting excited over something simple, these rare moments contrast sharply with his usual demeanor, revealing a side of him that few ever get to see.

In his new life, his personality remains fundamentally the same—pragmatic, reserved, and self-reliant—but his new life introduces unpredictability to his behavior. While he still prioritizes survival above all else, the presence of a loving family and a stable environment subtly influences him in ways even he doesn't fully understand.

At times, he finds himself acting in ways that contradict his usual logic. One moment, he might dismiss a situation as irrelevant to him, and the next, he's impulsively stepping in for reasons he can't quite explain. He might scoff at the idea of emotional attachment, yet feel a deep, irrational need to protect those close to him. He dislikes unnecessary risks, yet occasionally takes them on a whim. His usual emotional detachment remains intact, yet small, uncharacteristic bursts of warmth or sentimentality occasionally slip through.

However, another layer to his personality emerges—at times, he can be downright unpredictable, even eccentric. Whether it's boredom, lingering childishness, or simply the chaos of his new life taking its toll, he sometimes exhibits crazy or chunibyo-like tendencies. He might throw himself into ridiculous situations purely because they seem fun at the moment. Though rare, these outbursts make him even harder to read, leaving people around him questioning whether he's being serious or just messing with them.

These contradictions make him difficult to predict, even for himself. While he still values caution and self-preservation, his actions are no longer purely calculated—sometimes, they are driven by something deeper, something instinctual… or just pure chaos. Whether this is the influence of his new life, or a part of him he never acknowledged before, remains uncertain.

One thing, however, is clear—while his core personality remains unchanged, the unpredictability of his new self keeps even him guessing.

(It Might Not Be True Though.)
