Bleach: The Strongest Shinigami

Chapter 202: Chapter 202 ⥤ Absolute Power!

"Kid, are you messing with us?" A pink-haired twin-tailed girl with a vicious look on her face said with displeasure, "Where's your Bankai? Let's see it already! Let me cut it in half!"

She was the first Captain of 6th Division, Furōfushi Saitō.

Her ferocious personality stood out as unique even among the all-villain First Generation Gotei 13. The girl-like Shinigami rested her Zanpakutō on her shoulder, staring at Akira who stood on the water's surface, full of disdain.

His spirit was impressive enough, but his performance left something to be desired. It was like getting someone to drop their pants only to show you this — truly disappointing.

Even Aizen, who had always trusted his friend, frowned, suspecting this was a delaying tactic. Perhaps Akira hadn't mastered Bankai at all and was merely trying to create an opportunity to stall for time, allowing the passage to quickly take form.

He then glanced at the Soul Society passage beside him, where branch-like shadows extended infinitely, stabilizing the surroundings while also expanding and perfecting themselves.

Just as I thought. However, this strategy could only delay the inevitable, not prevent it.

Aizen sighed lightly. Though the enemy-to-ally gap was massive, there was still a chance of victory if they fought to the death. From the moment the First Generation Captains reappeared, he had prepared himself for a death battle.

"Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy…"

His lips moved slightly as he quietly chanted a Kidō spell.

Layers of black mist-like Reiatsu condensed beneath Aizen's feet while his right hand gripped Kyōka Suigetsu, its blade gleaming.

Akira looked at the motionless Kūkan Mukai and raised an eyebrow.

He infused Reiatsu into it, then gently stroked the blade, whispering, "Come on, bro, everyone's watching. Give me some face here."

After several failed attempts, Akira grew furious, ready to snap it in two.

"What use are you?!"

In the sky above, Furōfushi laughed mockingly, "Your empty bluffing won't change your fate of being cut down by me. Kid, die!"

As her words fell, her figure flickered and vanished, instantly appearing above Akira. Her blade, wrapped in powerful Reiatsu, slashed downward without hesitation.

But at that moment, a black pillar of Reiatsu erupted again, transforming into a deep night sky that instantly expanded across the boundless lake surface. In an instant, heaven and earth changed color.

Aizen's expression shifted slightly as he immediately used Shunpo to distance himself from the imposing light pillar.

The indiscriminate pressure felt as if the gravity rules of this world had suddenly changed, with each person inexplicably bearing an additional mountain on their shoulders.

Furōfushi, being closest to Akira, was hit as if by a heavy hammer, instantly flying backward and skipping across the surging lake surface.

When she finally stabilized herself, she witnessed an unbelievable sight.

Purple flames ignited within the Reiatsu, as if using it as fuel. The roaring flames burned wildly, causing the air temperature to rise sharply.

The others' expressions weren't much better. They had thought his Bankai had failed, turning out to be a dud, but it unexpectedly became something formidable.

This scene reminded the First Generation Captains of the war against the Quincy hundreds of years ago — that middle-aged bald man wielding a flame-burning blade, cutting from the Shōryūmon to the Hakutōmon without even blinking.

That scene was nothing short of a real nightmare for most of them. Now the nightmare was repeating itself, and an almost imperceptible fear and inclination to retreat sprouted in their hearts.

Especially Furōfushi, who had been blown away. Her girlish face flashed with undisguisable terror. Being closest to Akira, she could clearly sense the power from earlier.

And this was merely the dispersal of aftermath waves. If she were to be hit by a punch...

She didn't dare think further.

As the light pillar gradually faded, Akira's figure reappeared before everyone. His physique hadn't changed much, but his appearance had significant differences.

The chains disappeared, and the blade turned to countless dust particles dispersing in the air. Black markings appeared on his perfect body, outlining intricate patterns. His black hair transformed into pure white, and his eyes changed to a light red, emanating a cold and proud aura.

Aizen couldn't believe it. Could this really be the aura emanating from Akira?

It was like having your pet husky suddenly transform into a solitary wolf king. Truly difficult to accept.

The First Generation Captains vigilantly stared at Akira, all their Reiatsu locked onto his body, ready to detect any movement instantly.

Before Bankai, he could instantly kill three First Generation Captains. As everyone knew, Bankai could increase a Shinigami's combat power by five to ten times, depending on their talent and potential.

The already extraordinary Akira had now reached an immeasurable level. Despite their confidence in their own strength, they couldn't help but feel anxious when facing such a monster.

When his cold gaze turned toward them, it felt like being stared at by a natural predator.

"Fools, what are you hesitating for?" Saizō Sakahone let out a hoarse roar, "Are you waiting for the enemy to get familiar with his Bankai power before picking us off one by one?!"

Without hesitation, the moment his words fell, he released his Zanpakutō. Unlike the domain expansion earlier, this time the black ink he emitted merged into his blade. As a faint light flashed, the blade transformed into a spear, emanating an eerie aura.

His hunched, hunchbacked figure unexpectedly burst forth with incredible power. Gripping the spear tightly, he raised his arm and fiercely hurled it toward Akira.

The black spear bizarrely disappeared mid-air, only to reappear directly behind the enemy.

Just as the spear tip was about to pierce his perfect body, a large hand materialized out of nowhere and instantly grabbed it. Then, to everyone's shock, he forcibly snapped it in two.

"Sōsuke, wait here for a moment." Akira casually tossed the broken spear aside, completely disregarding the multiple shocked gazes from above, "I'm about to blast these weaklings to smithereens!"

When he spoke, Aizen felt somewhat relieved; the husky was still a husky. The earlier cold aura had been just an illusion.

The moment Bankai was released, Akira had sensed an unprecedented feeling of power, endless Reiatsu filling his entire body, as if he had become a world unto himself. No matter who he faced, he maintained a lofty, superior attitude.

Now his confidence had multiplied. Forget about the original Captains before him — even if they included Yama-jii and Sister Retsu, he could effortlessly destroy them all!

His silhouette vanished from its original position, reappearing in the sky among the crowd. The original Captains couldn't even detect his movement trajectory. By the time they sensed the danger approaching, it was already too late.

An inconceivable Reiatsu crashed down like the collapse of heaven and earth.

Without hesitation, Chika Shihōin, the closest to Akira, immediately launched a technique similar to Shunkō toward the enemy behind him. Howling winds raged ceaselessly, as if doomsday had arrived.

Yet even such a powerful technique was extinguished by the enemy with just one hand, as easily as blowing out a candle.

Chika's expression changed dramatically. Just as he was about to dodge, he saw Akira's mouth curl into a smile, revealing madness and savagery. Extreme cruelty appeared on his face.

And then came a merciless, undisguised full-force blow!

A hurricane erupted, countless electric arcs surging from his knuckles, instantly extending for kilometers, plowing a deep trench to the bottom of hell's lake.

Crack—

The sound of shattering bones followed. Chika's features instantly contorted, intense pain exploding from deep within his nerves, consuming what little rationality remained.

His entire body flew backward under the tremendous force, drawing an arc of light across the sky.

Before he could regain his balance, he suddenly realized that Akira had already appeared at his landing spot, smiling like a demon as if to say, "Welcome home".

What greeted him was another straightforward punch. This time, his battle-hardened body was completely destroyed, transformed into countless bloody mists spreading across the sky.

Extreme heat swept outward, instantly incinerating the blood mist.

This dramatic display instantly plunged the vast hell into silence. Numerous gazes locked onto Akira in the distance, their eyes revealing uncontrollable horror.

What just happened?!

From Chika's attack to his final demise took only the blink of an eye. Before they could even react, all that remained was lingering Reiatsu. Not even a single intact piece of his body remained.

Aizen's expression remained calm as he observed steadily, watching the figure cackling in the sky above.

It was just as he had anticipated. The black markings that appeared when inscribing the Kidō patterns were related to his Zanpakutō. What was surprising was that they would ultimately manifest in Bankai form.

Although Akira's fighting style hadn't changed drastically, Aizen noticed some subtle clues in his observation.

Kūkan Mukai's Shikai ability seemed to extend to the Bankai, causing his attacks to suppress the enemy's Reiatsu.

It was like a superior being against an inferior one. When both sides' Reiatsu were equal, this suppression became particularly apparent. Combined with his extraordinary battle performance, achieving total domination was as simple as eating and drinking for Akira.

Then there was his movement technique. Compared to his previous Shunpo, it had changed dramatically. Upon closer observation, it somewhat resembled a Hollow's Sonído.

Boom!!

A thunderous explosion erupted across the boundless lake surface. Another figure flew backward, hitting the water with a "splat", the terrifying impact force immediately making Uhin spew blood and internal organ fragments.

Even more terrifying than before, Ahin fearfully gazed at the god-like figure, his pupils filled with nothing but terror.

It takes a villain to defeat a villain. The original captains, who prided themselves as the world's greatest villains, suddenly realized they were far too weak compared to Akira.

{T/N: There's a saying here in Brazil that fits this quite well: The cure for a madman is another one at the door.}

His fighting stance even reminded them of a comrade they had fought alongside many years ago—

The Sword Demon, Shigekuni Yamamoto!

Saizō attempted to use another form of Avīci to trap Akira in endless solitude. But barely two seconds after turning out the lights, the human-shaped tyrannosaurus violently tore apart the domain. Scorching winds arose, burning everything around.

With his Zanpakutō's Bankai suffering repeated heavy damage, the small old man completely lost his fighting strength and was sent flying by Akira's slap.

Fortunately, although the other original Captains were terrified, they reacted at the fastest possible speed. They clearly understood there was no turning back once the action began. There would be no possibility of stopping.

Since they, as Togabito, wouldn't truly die anyway, they might as well exert their final brilliance, trying to take a bite out of this hateful youngster before dying.

The nature of these villains began to manifest. The battle grew increasingly fierce, with mystical Bankai abilities making successive appearances.

Time stop, space solidification, perception hypnosis, body modification...

Even Aizen had to admit the original Captains' strength was formidable. No wonder these villains had been able to defeat the Quincy. They truly had impressive skills.

Unfortunately, their opponent was too abnormal — double A-rank in strength and speed but E-rank in intelligence, with battle-related stats nearly maxed out. Even his most ordinary direct punch wasn't something these fragile fighters could withstand.

The current scene resembled heroes besieging a Demon King. They gave their all, exploded with potential, sacrificed their lives, but without love and courage, they could only be crushed one by one by the cackling Demon King.

"Ugh..." Furōfushi gritted her teeth, making a desperate groan of frustration.

The plan had completely failed. Originally, they had hoped to kill Akira, making him stay in Hell forever. Then, using his special power, they would break the shackles Hell had placed on them, ending this painful and endless cycle.

But now it seemed that, far from killing him, they couldn't even break through his defense.

Since when did Shinigami emit sparks when cut?

Furōfushi prided herself on having survived in Hell for hundreds of years and considered herself quite knowledgeable, yet even Kushanāda, with defense stronger than the Hierro of a Vasto Lorde, couldn't withstand the original Captains' strikes.

"Kill me." She said desperately, "But we are immortal, and this battle is far from over!"

Akira looked directly into her eyes, then grinned, "Sōsuke, are you interested in these Togabito?"

Furōfushi: "?"

Aizen: "..."

He knew this guy would never miss an opportunity for revenge. Upon learning these people couldn't truly die, taking them to the laboratory might be a form of torture.

To be honest, Aizen was somewhat tempted.

"I'll take your silence as consent." Akira waved his hand, Reiatsu descending, multiple layers of Bakudō emanating brilliant light, directly binding the tough-talking female villain.

Then, he looked toward the last remaining person — the original 8th Division Captain, Batsu'unsai Katori.

When the shadow loomed and Akira appeared before her with a sinister smile, this girl with formidable weaponry instinctively gripped her naginata tightly. Her expression was somewhat pitiful, no longer showing the ferocity she had displayed in battle earlier.

"What are you going to—" Before she could struggle or resist, the shadow fell, and her vision darkened as she immediately lost consciousness.

Akira skillfully hoisted her onto his shoulder, then tucked the chattering female villain Furōfushi under his arm, flashing a grin at Aizen.

"I'll handle extracting information about Hell!"

Aizen: "..."

He wondered if it was too late to say he didn't know this person.
