For over a thousand years, the Eldorian Empire has stood strong, a beacon of power and civilization in a world teetering on the edge of chaos. At its heart are the Seven Strongest Families, noble houses that shape the empire's fate with their unparalleled might.

Yet, for all their power, an ancient enemy lurks beyond their walls.

From the Veilrift, a cursed land where reality fractures, the Abyssborn emerge—monstrous beings of twisted flesh and dark magic. These creatures are relentless, their numbers endless, their origin shrouded in mystery. Some whisper that the Veilrift is the grave of an ancient god, its restless soul birthing horrors into the world. Others claim it is a wound in existence itself, never meant to be healed.

Whatever the truth, one fact remains: without the Seven Strongest Families, the empire would have fallen long ago.

The Seven Strongest Families of Eldoria

House Eldoria (Royal Family) – The ruling family, descended from dragons, their Draconic Heritage granting them unparalleled strength and magic. They command the empire's armies against the Abyssborn, but even their might has limits.

House Veyrin (Grand Dukes) – Masters of Crimson Sigil, a bloodline magic that allows them to carve spells into their own blood. With their vast mana reserves and elite spellcasters, they stand as the empire's strongest magical defenders.

House Grimthorne (Dukes) – Wielders of Titan's Resilience, their bodies are as unyielding as the mountains they rule. Their warriors form the unbreakable vanguard against Abyssborn incursions.

House Zephyrion (Dukes) – Blessed with Stormcalling, they command wind and lightning to devastate enemies from the skies. Their aerial forces strike where others cannot reach.

House Duskbane (Dukes) – Holders of Eclipse Sight, they see glimpses of the future, guiding the empire through its darkest times. But prophecy is fickle, and the future is ever-shifting.

House Faelwyn (Marquises) – Born with Beastbond, they tame mythical creatures to combat the monstrous Abyssborn with monsters of their own. Their battle beasts are legends on the field.

House Nocturne (Marquises) – Masters of Veilcraft, they wield illusions, mind magic, and assassination to eliminate threats before they can rise—whether human or Abyssborn.

A War Without End

The Abyssborn are not just mindless beasts. Some wield dark sorcery, others grow stronger with every battle, and the worst of them—the Archfiends—are beings of pure malice, capable of tearing cities apart.
