Bro, I'm not an Undead!

Chapter 1516: Master Summary

(A/N: This will be a summary of the main events of this volume up until now. I hope it will be a bit helpful. I know a lot of stuff has happened and it can get overwhelming at times.)

Following Elita's sudden return to Aigas, Boron (Ciumin), revealed to have been Suzamete's (Kaella) lover, uses his powers to fix (keep in place) the past versions of Aigas that Skullius created into the present time, and releases the rest of the Cavern from the Under.

Because of the injury Elita forced on Boron, the Deity nearly gets hit a second time by her Broodweiler – which is able to cut through the Broader Existences of Divine beings – but is saved by Ashema, one of his most loyal Cavern.

Suzamete invites Skullius and Elita into her domain, where she asks the two to help her save Aigas, as things are spiralling beyond her control. In exchange for the help, Suzamete promises Skullius Amanas, the fourth and most nebulous continent on Aigas. She reveals that Amanas is actually a vessel for travelling across the great void as even for Deities, the wider reality is very dangerous to cross without a powerful vehicle.

After agreeing to the terms, Skullius and Elita warp to the Empyrean Bosom where Skullius introduces his Unlimited Stars: Kintar, Pherdanta, Yuyui, Grim, Kenno, Savast, and Baddan.

Elita explains that she has returned to Aigas in order to destroy the Purity, suspecting them of preparing some heinous plan. Skullius promises to help her, but only after he has completed the items on his agenda. Leaving Elita in the care of his subordinates, he charges the seven with keeping an eye on her and proceeds with his merger with the evil version of himself he'd just defeated.

After evolving, transcending mortality at last, Skullius has a briefing with his Unlimited Stars, explaining to them what happened during his battle with Festos, creating a game plan on how to deal with Boron and his Cavern, and bolstering his followers with every resource he can spare - power and knowledge.

Using his newfound powers, Skullius gifts Stylla, who had been rendered a bodyless soul after being used by the Full Deck BoneTender, a new physical form using his War Body. The first signs of Doom Factor 2 begin to affect Skullius in kind following this event.

Skullius spares a moment to give Silrat a role, partnering him with Ferex, who has been eagerly awaiting a chance to redeem himself after succumbing to his Flaw, and becoming the Full Deck BoneTender.

Skullius and Elita visit the Warmoth's Treasury and pick up a few Treasures to use before traversing back to Aigas.

After tackling a few Cavern that have transcended mortality, Skullius enters an Extended Contract with the first Primeval Deity AKHASHA, to begin his journey of levelling up as a Divine. Through this earlier fight with the Divine Cavern, he learns an Exotic Parlous Nature called Second Divine Sinew, which allows him to create perfect replicas of living entities down to their Broader Existences.

A few Primeval Deities take interest in this Exotic Parlous Nature and offer Skullius Limited Contracts. VOW warns Skullius to choose one no matter what, and to avoid taking up any Contracts offered by a Primeval Deity named TITEMIUS. Skullius heeds the advice and chooses a Contract offered by the Primeval Deity, JOISEN ANTERRAS.

Skullius and Elita travel to Maqi to handle some affairs Skullius deemed important for the future when they suddenly come across a version of Fulgardt from the past and the inheritor of the essence of Actuass, Rias EverSword. The WILLS of Fulgardt, which Skullius had failed to destroy after merging his two bodies earlier, fly back to their master and feed him most of the information Skullius has – and by extension, information about the future Fulgardt.

Skullius had laced the WILLS of Fulgardt with a Stark Constellation, however, and when they enter Fulgardt, he catches a glimpse of his memories and obtains leverage against the Immoral: knowledge about something a secret his future self hid in the Labyrinth of the Yoke.

After parting ways with Fulgardt and Rias, Skullius and Elita finally travel to the headquarters of the Purity. They find that indeed, the Nine, leaders of the Purity have been plotting something heinous in order to obtain power. However, to Skullius' surprise, Elita reveals that she was the one who orchestrated it all, her goal being to allow a fellow Void User from another world by the name Uyuniya, to reach Divinity.

A battle breaks loose between the Void Users and Skullius. The unique abilities of the two women pressure him, and he is forced to create a replica of himself using Second Divine Sinew. Because of Uyuniya, the replica is cast into the great void, lost. Skullius still manages to get the upper hand, however, by developing a power that has ties to Voided Death: Maximum Jaqquezjaqqz. Nine Primeval Deities show interest in this power, offering Skullius contracts.

Void is not pleased.

Void attempts to kill Skullius, but Serenity defends him, and with the surprising help of another Void User, Aurolio.

Void retreats after making dark accusations against her sister, but immediately after, Kenno and Araeyn appear on the battlefield, with a Doom Knight in tow.

Elsewhere, Yuyui, Grim, and a group of beasts encounter four powerful women from the Order of the Trodden Rose intruding into the present time from the past. Yuyui deigns to challenge them all by herself and manages to kill three of them after gaining some enlightenment mid-battle. She fails to kill Nigerra, the strongest among the devious, male-loathing bunch, but awakens a new eye, the Eye of the Visitor. Suzamete invites her and Grim into her domain.

Skullius, Aurolio, Araeyn, Kenno, and Sila join hands with Elita and Uyuniya to fight the Doom Knight, and with his new Exotic Parlous Nature, Skullius manages to defeat the Undead minion and extracts a portion of its Broader Existence. However, before the process is complete, Fulgardt arrives to steal his kill and place a restriction on him that forbids him from tampering with his (Fulgardt's) secret in the Labyrinth of the Yoke for an hour.

Skullius is punished for taking too long to choose between the nine contracts he was offered for Maximum Jaqquezjaqqz. As he considers which one to choose, he finds out that Serenity had wanted to escape this Reality eons ago, and had tried to make a deal with Emmae to get her help, only to lose a Book of Alignment that contained the power of Null Life to her sister (the same Book of Alignment which gives Skullius the powers of Null Life in the story.)

After Serenity and VOW refuse to explain why Skullius shouldn't accept a contract offer from TITEMIUS, Skullius does just that and earns some high-quality gains through an Unlimited Contract with the Primeval Deity.

Through controversial means by Kintar, Skullius discovers that Boron has placed a series of crystals all around Aigas, their purposes unknown. Red Rage convinces Skullius that granting him the First Rank among the Apostles will enable him (Red Rage) to obtain enough power to reveal the purpose of these crystals. To enable the functions of the First Rank, Skullius summons his fifth Apostle, Eternity's Weaver, a Nulliergrapher. (A rare find among Null Lifeforms.) After a short battle with Araeyn, who thinks himself deserving of the highest rank, Red Rage earns the First Rank for himself.

In order to find answers about some mysteries concern the Nullmancer Class, Skullius and company go to the Null Verse.

Back on Aigas, Suzamete aims to use Yuyui's new Eye of the Visitor to draw a Chronocle Fiend, and to use Grim's Hidden Class to extract the raw time from its body in order to fix the abnormal interaction of time that Boron imposed on Aigas earlier. With the help of the guardian beasts, Asthon (who dies during the conflict) and Jiggorrhax, Grim is able to defeat the Chronocle Fiend and several Impermanence Fiends, obtaining what Suzamete needs.

In the Null Verse, Skullius learns a great deal about Nullmancy, the Nulliergraphers, the Universal Purge Banner, and its bounties from a Null Lifeform named Unnio Lak before travelling back to Aigas where he is immediately assaulted by Doom Factor 2, which allows Somanda to take over his body. However, with the help of his Unlimited Stars, the Void Users and Apostles, Skullius is saved.

The replica that Skullius created earlier and was lost to the great void, returns to Aigas, older and stronger. The replica, aptly known as Future Skullius, agrees to handle a few of Skullius' matters for him while he tries to curry favour with the Deity Luserus by creating a long line of Luminant progeny for him. It is during this set of events that Red Rage reveals that the purpose of the crystals Boron has laid out on Aigas is to force Quintess and Listafelle back here for a duel.

Future Skullius goes to the Severed Union to have the legendary grade artefact SoSei, a relic of Somanda's, tampered. He then travels to the Empyrean Bosom to subjugate the Corrupted Deity Nunax, which he does rather easily as soon as he uses the War Body.

Through the former Evenfall cultist Guissepo, Pherdanta rallies the five Houses of Pelian, Kudobtu, Shannazah, Desmonn, Morde and Wolverik, as well as Maxim, Vali, Silrat, Ferex to the Under to stop another hidden scheme by Boron. As it turns out, Boron had made contact with Void and made a pact with her, allowing him to procure a Void rank Treasure which he wishes to use against Quintess and Listafelle. Ferex empowers all the experts with his new abilities, allowing them to hold their own against what they meet in the Under – Ashema and the millions of Cavern guarding the Void rank Treasure.
