Catch Feelings, Not Just Pokemon

Chapter 131: Liko Is Peeking

In the world of Pokémon, Lusamine could very well be considered one of the top-tier "troublemakers."

With just a few suggestive words, her seductive tone was enough to stir a desire for battle in Haru, making him feel like he could go toe-to-toe with her for hundreds of rounds.

I remember now! I remember everything—I've always been Lusamine's trainer!

As for being a Pokémon trainer… he didn't really care about that.

Completely captivated by Lusamine, Haru nearly lost control, ready to go all in with her. However, when he reached out to untie the bow on her outfit, he stopped himself.

Even now, he hadn't completely lost his senses.

He remembered that there was still a girl downstairs waiting for him with a bowl of porridge. If he got into anything with Lusamine now, wouldn't that be letting Lillie down?

No! He couldn't allow himself to fall any further!

He had to stay firm as Lillie's boyfriend. He couldn't waste time messing around with Lusamine.

After taking a couple deep breaths, Haru forced himself to calm down.

"So... why are you here? Does Lillie know you came to see me?"

"She doesn't," Lusamine replied, flashing a smile so alluring it made hearts race.

"Of course, I kept it from her. That makes it more fun, doesn't it?"

She paused, then teased, "Actually, maybe it would be even more interesting if she did know. Should I go tell her?"

"As for why I came to see you... do I really need a reason?"

"Besides, I'm just a gift. What you want to do with this 'present' is up to you."

She gently ran a finger along her lips in a flirtatious gesture.

Haru quickly decided: "Just stay here for the night. I'll come see you tomorrow."

He figured if he delayed any longer, Lillie might come looking for him.

Now clearly wasn't the right time to "battle" Lusamine—especially not behind Lillie's back.

However, Lusamine seemed to misinterpret his words entirely, her face suddenly flushed as she crossed her legs tightly.

"Oh? You're into... leaving me waiting, huh? I didn't expect you to have such kinks."

"Well, I don't mind that either, but I still prefer the old-fashioned way..."

Saying this, Lusamine suddenly produced... a whip and a candle, placing them in front of Haru.

"You can be rough with me, if you'd like."

"Or... maybe even choke me a little while we—"

She didn't finish the sentence, but the dangerously eager look on her face said it all.

At this point, Haru was speechless.

They'd been apart for about a year, and it seemed Lusamine's... tastes had only become more intense since then. Haru had thought she was already extreme before, but clearly he'd underestimated her.

This was getting way too much for him.

"I'm going to see Lillie. She's waiting for me," he said, shaking his head.

Unfortunately, the moment he mentioned Lillie, it only triggered something in Lusamine—she took it as a challenge.

"Going to see Lillie? What, am I less attractive than a blunt knife?"

As she said this, the two red ribbons around her extended and wrapped around Haru's neck, yanking him forward into her arms. She was clearly making an aggressive move.

Now Haru was the one getting mad.

Was this woman serious? He tried to let her off easy and she still insisted on dragging him back into madness?

She needed to be taught a lesson.

He wasn't about to give her everything tonight, but firing off a warning shot? That much he could do.

"If I don't deal with you, you're not letting me leave, huh?"

With that, Haru summoned his sniper rifle and activated the Sniper ability, just like a Dragapult.

"Are we... starting now?" Lusamine looked at the rifle—completely unfazed—and grew even more excited.

This was his gun—there was still hope for salvation!

But Haru didn't play by modern rules. Instead of a sniper, he swapped to an old-school melee weapon—extending a long spear.

Most people upgrade from a birdshot to a cannon. Haru? He went from a rifle to a lance.

Right before the fight, he sharpened his weapon on Lusamine herself, delivering a blow that struck right at her head, before continuing to hone it until it gleamed red-hot.

In Monster Hunter terms, Haru had reached red sharpness and wasn't about to waste any of it.

His finishing move? The ultimate technique: the Curry Stick Noble Phantasm.

Even though he'd gone classic with his weapon, he didn't forget the perks of modern warfare—namely, absurd attack speed.

With a rapid-fire flurry, his red-hot spear barraged Lusamine until her vision blurred. Her face was hit with too many metaphorical "arrows" to count.

At last, with Lusamine defeated, Haru caught his breath and left the room—leaving behind a dazed and thoroughly overwhelmed Lusamine.

From above the hallway's glass ceiling, a red-faced Liko had been silently watching the entire time, her hand covering her mouth as her mind reeled with what she had just seen.

She watched Haru walk away... and couldn't help but let out a tiny squeak.

He was heading to meet Lillie now. Should she keep following him?

Liko asked herself that, but her body had already made the decision before her brain could catch up.

I mean... I've already peeked once, what's a few more times?

I'm just trying to understand more about Haru-sensei's private life... yeah, that's it. Not for any weird reason...

Her legs trembling slightly, Liko quietly followed after Haru.
