Lucas's mind focused, and instantly a dense number of black Shadowkhan appeared, covering the entire Arkham Asylum.

The doctors, nurses, and security staff of Arkham Asylum had all become prisoners by this time. They had switched roles with the mental patients, and now they were the ones locked up.

The mental patients who were once confined here had united to control the facility and disguised themselves as Arkham Asylum staff. Although they were a bunch of psychopaths, they had packaged themselves well.

Batman didn't respond further. He didn't know why he was being treated so well. If he could break the fourth wall, he would understand it was the power of money.

His movies could save entire companies, so no wonder the writers didn't treat him like they hated him!

Batman changed the subject abruptly. "Bane has controlled most of Gotham City. It won't be easy to defeat him without harming innocent people."

Lucas shook his head and said, "Batman, you know nothing about power! What is a mere Bane? He has no chance against me!"

The Shadow Ninjas covering all of Gotham City quickly defeated the city's dark forces. Bane's bombs, originally placed in every corner of Gotham to be used as bargaining chips, were also thrown into the Shadow Realm by the all-pervasive dark ninjas.

"It's over!" Lucas turned on the TV, pointing at Bane who was subdued by the Shadow Ninjas on the screen. "See? Didn't I say he had no chance to resist?"

Batman was silent. Was Lucas really that strong?

With such a powerful superhero in Gotham City, what was the meaning of his existence as Batman?

Find Lucas's weakness and develop a plan and equipment to defeat him, then one day when villains steal it to defeat Lucas... or use it himself if Lucas turns evil?

Lucas glared and said angrily, "How dare you make excuses?"

The electric shocks continued until Batman gave up his struggle and admitted his mistake.

"Good news for you—that Miranda who stayed up late with you is pregnant!" Before leaving, Lucas gave Batman this friendly reminder, which made the paralyzed Batman regain his energy instantly.
