CLOVER Convenience Store

"That'll be 538 yen in total."

"Please come again!"

Fuyutsuki Shiori smiled as she waved off the last customer of the night at 9 PM.

And then...

Her gaze shifted toward Akira.

"Hey—"

"You know, as the store manager, you can't just keep staring at your employees all the time."

Sure, a manager supervising their staff was normal.

But...

This guy had been staring at her chest the whole time!

Akira's gaze was hot—so direct and unfiltered that it made Shiori feel like her chest was about

to explode.

"Shiori-chan."

"I heard from Yui that you like me."

The moment those words left his mouth—

The person who reacted the most was Nakazumi Yui, who had been standing nearby, munching on

snacks while watching the drama unfold.

She immediately shook her head.

No, no, no! She didn't! She never said that! Don't make stuff up!

Sure, she had teased Shiori in private about liking Akira, but she had never actually told him!

"So, are you interested in going out with me?"

Akira's voice carried a playful tone.

"..."

Shiori's heart started pounding.

She had to admit, she did have some feelings for Akira. And when Yui teased her, she had

even let herself daydream a little about romance.

But...

She never expected things to escalate this quickly.

Ding-dong—

"Welc—"

"This is a robbery!"

Two masked robbers suddenly burst into the CLOVER convenience store, shattering the peaceful

atmosphere.

In an instant—

Shiori and Yui, two innocent 18-year-old high school girls, were so terrified that they instinctively

hid behind Akira.

Compared to them, Akira remained perfectly calm.

He had been expecting this day for a while now...

After all, Beika Town was basically the "mini Gotham" of the Conan universe—a paradise for

criminals.

And with his CLOVER convenience store located in a prime area of Beika Town, there was no way it

wouldn't attract robbers sooner or later.

"Cut the crap!"

"Hand over all the money!"

"..."

The two robbers, each holding a knife, looked even more nervous than him. It was obvious they had

zero experience with this kind of thing.

Just from their posture and movements, Akira could tell they were nowhere near as

competent as that Yamamoto guy he had dealt with before.

"Alright... I'll get it."

Akira Yang slowly stepped forward.

Then, in the brief moment when the two hesitated—he dashed forward in a blur.

A side kick sent one flying, followed by a clean uppercut—

BANG—

BANG—

In the blink of an eye, both robbers hit the ground hard.

Forget about the robbers—even Shiori and Yui, who had been hiding behind the cashier counter,

had no idea what just happened.

All they saw was Akira standing there, completely in control of the situation.

"Whoa, that was amazing!"

Shiori was stunned.

She never imagined that Akira was actually a martial arts expert.

Having such a strong and capable manager around was an incredible sense of security for

employees like them.

"What are you standing around for?"

"Call the cops!"

At this point—

The two arrogant, cocky robbers were already unconscious on the floor.

Completely useless!

If they had even a little bit of skill, Akira might have at least considered trying to sell them

some weapons.

Not long after—

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrived on the scene in response to the robbery report.

Leading the case was none other than Sato Miwako from the Violent Crimes Division 3.

She was accompanied by Takagi and Chiba, her usual partners.

"Hmm...?"

"So you're the one who knocked both of them out?"

Sato Miwako's sharp eyes locked onto Akira.

A veteran detective like her quickly assessed the scene and reached the only logical conclusion.

There were only three people in the store.

No doubt about it—

Akira was the only one who could've taken down the robbers.

"Yeah."

"They came in to rob the store at 10 PM, and I knocked them out."

Sato Miwako studied Akira again.

She couldn't help but give him a second, longer look...

Most people, when faced with knife-wielding criminals, would freeze up in fear. Over 90% would

just obediently follow orders.

Not only did Akira do the exact opposite—he took them down and walked away without a

scratch.

These weren't unarmed thugs; they had knives. Yet Akira dealt with them effortlessly.

This guy's the real deal.

"Takagi, Chiba."

"Take these two back to the station."

"Akira."

"We'll need you to come by the department tomorrow for a statement."

"..."

Akira nodded.

No problem at all.

This whole incident wasn't a bad thing for him—it actually gave him a bit of fame in Beika Town's

Fifth District.

Most importantly—

It sent a clear message to all the small-time crooks in town: CLOVER Convenience Store isn't an

easy target.
