Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The Next Step

It had been 15 days since Arwin started working on the Doraemon series, and in that time, he had managed to create five full episodes.

Looking back, he could hardly believe how efficient he had become.

When he first made Doraemon: Stand by Me, it had taken him months to finish, but now, with his cheat system, things were much smoother. The scripts, dialogues, scene breakdowns—everything was already available. All he had to do was animate it, adjust the pacing, and add the final touches.

On top of that, the AI in his software was improving. It was adapting to his workflow, learning his preferences, and soon, it would be even easier to create new content.

And today was a big day—not only was he releasing the first five episodes of Doraemon, but it was also the final result day of the Nebeska Film Fest.

He had purposely avoided checking the views and rankings since the first day, choosing to focus entirely on his work. But now, it was finally time to see the results.

Arwin took a deep breath, then turned toward Leah. "Alright, Leah. Show me the final numbers for Doraemon: Stand by Me."

A moment later, a massive screen appeared before him.

And the number that flashed on the screen made him jump out of his seat.

Total Views: 465 Billion

"WHAT?!" Arwin nearly fell backward in shock.

That number was insane.

Even though top-tier studios regularly pulled hundreds of billions of views, this was his first project, made with zero promotions, and it had still performed at the higher tier of the competition.

His heart was racing as he quickly checked the rankings.

His movie had fallen short of the top 1,500, but that wasn't disappointing—it was a miracle.

The top 1,000 spots were dominated by major studios, all of whom had spent fortunes on marketing and promotions. The lowest-ranked movie in the top 1,000 had over 900 billion views, and the top three had even surpassed the one trillion mark, setting new festival records.

Yet despite all of that, Doraemon: Stand by Me had made its mark.

Arwin exhaled, shaking his head with a smile.

"Not bad… not bad at all," he muttered.

For a completely unknown studio, competing without any sponsors, advertisements, or pre-existing fanbase, his movie had done exceptionally well.

He moved to the earnings tab and his eyes widened again.

Total Earnings: 10 Million Credits

A huge grin spread across his face.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!"

This money would solve a lot of problems—he could improve his equipment, invest in better software, and maybe even hire people to help him expand his studio.

With new ideas swirling in his mind, Arwin closed the competition tab and turned his attention to the next task—making an announcement to his audience.

He needed to let everyone know about the upcoming Doraemon series.

Sitting down at his workstation, Arwin began typing:

Dear Viewers,

- Vault Studios

Satisfied with the message, he double-checked everything, then hit post.

With Leah's help, he quickly created an official Vault Studios page on Metube—a massive content platform where people could post videos, streams, and announcements.

He uploaded:

Doraemon: Stand by Me (now available for free)

The first five episodes of Doraemon: The Series

Then, he posted the announcement on the Nebeska Film Fest site, ensuring that everyone who had interacted with his movie would receive a notification.

Now… all he had to do was wait.

All across the Nebeska Galaxy, billions of devices suddenly pinged with a new message.

One of those devices belonged to Nancy, the streamer who had unknowingly helped promote Doraemon to millions of her viewers.

At that moment, she was lying on her couch, lazily flipping through OTT platforms, searching for something new to watch.

Even though she had already watched Doraemon: Stand by Me multiple times over the last two weeks, she couldn't get enough of it.

But now that the film fest was over, the movie was no longer available—at least, not until the studio decided where to officially distribute it.

She sighed, scrolling through countless generic sci-fi titles, feeling uninterested.

Then—a notification popped up.

Her first instinct was to ignore it, but when she glanced at the sender, her heart skipped a beat.

[New Announcement from Vault Studios]

Nancy's eyes widened, and in an instant, she shot up from the couch.

She quickly clicked on the message, her breath catching as she read the announcement.

Her voice came out in an excited squeal.

"YES! YES! YES!" she shouted, jumping in place.

Vault Studios wasn't just back—they were releasing an entire Doraemon series!

Without hesitation, she clicked on the official page, followed the account, and saw it—five brand-new episodes waiting for her.

She flopped back onto the couch, heart racing with excitement.

"The Fishing Pond in My Room…" she read the title of the first episode aloud, already feeling giddy.

Just as she was about to hit play, a voice interrupted her.

"Reminder: Your scheduled live stream is set to begin in five minutes," her AI assistant informed her.

Nancy barely hesitated before replying, "Canceled. I'm watching Doraemon today."

The AI remained silent for a moment before responding, "Understood. Stream canceled."

Nancy grinned, pressing play as the screen darkened and the episode began.

She was finally getting more Doraemon, and nothing—not even her millions of fans waiting for a stream—was going to stop her from enjoying it.

As the first episode played, millions of others across the galaxy were doing the same.

Notifications had gone out. People were curious.

And within minutes, Doraemon: The Series was already gaining momentum.

Meanwhile, completely unaware of the storm he had just set off, Arwin simply leaned back in his chair.
