Cyberpunk : Neon Vengeance

A cool sensation ran through his body, like ice spreading through his veins. Jason had already passed out, unaware of the strange energy flowing within him—but the entity felt it.

It pulsed with anticipation, feeding on the connection that had just been forged. This body, this mind, this soul—it was finally taking root.

The entity can feel their connection grow deeper.Before it was like a caged bird looking at the world through Jason's memories but now it can experience what he feels.

The entity could hear the voices in the room through Jason's ears. It could feel the machines connected to his body—the rhythmic beeping of a monitor, the subtle pressure of wires and tubes keeping him stable.

It tried to move his hands and legs. Nothing happened.

It tried to open Jason's eyes. Still nothing.

Frustration stirred within it. But it can't give up now.

It scanned the whole body, his nerves, his organs, his blood to his muscles and bones.

It soon found what it was looking for, a lot of foreign substances were present throughout his body. Some made his muscles weaker while some affected his mind.

The entity can control the blood flow and white blood cells to deal with them, but this will not let it and Jason escape.

It had already felt through the cold sensation around his wrist, ankles and neck and knew that his body was tied to some surface. This weak body can't break free from these shackles. 

Furthermore, awakening might endanger this body as it heard from the voices in the room, previously.

If the entity wants to escape, it has to be stealthy. But first ,it would look into Jason's memories and see if it can find a way.

It scanned through his memories looking for something it can use in the current situation.

Soon it found the answer: Netrunning.

In the current situation where the body is not usable, it can only use this skill to get out , and think of a way to save the body.

Luckily Jason's knowledge in netrunning was at a beginner intermediate level so the entity by studying his experience has already gotten to the same level as him.

After thinking for a while, the entity realized it can use Jason's brain as a cyberdeck and machines connected to him as ports. But this has a very high risk. The brain is the most important part of the body. Any harm to it may cause brain damage to make him 'special' in the best case and cause failure of important functions in the body and even death in the worst case.

But it can't think of any other ways, so it takes the risk.

Using his brain as a cyberdeck it uses breaching hacks on the machines connected to the body and soon reaches the cyberspace of this network.

A portal opens in the bright space probably leading to the breached cyberspace.

The entity became smaller but still looked like a bright yellow ball of light .

After making sure the body was functioning normally it jumped into the portal.

Inside the portal it traveled in a narrow tunnel along with all the data that was going to the network from the machines.

By the end of the tunnel, it could see a bright light.

The entity watched, unable to resist as it was pulled forward, an unseen force dragging it closer. It struggled, but the light swallowed it whole—

A bright flash.

When the light faded, the entity found itself standing in a vast, endless white space.

There were no walls, no ceiling, no floor—just an infinite void of white stretching in all directions.

It was a small ball of light floating in the white space.

Although it had some idea of where it was thanks to netrunning experience it got from Jason's memories but it would have to figure out how to get out of here.

As it is about move around , suddenly the entire white space was filled with prompts that said

[ Intruder alert ]

Alarms started to blared soon. It had been caught.

[Tier 1 units dispatched]

Before the entity could react to the first alarms, small portals opened and drones with weapons attached to them came out in droves, all pointing their weapons at it.

[Surrender peacefully or be ready to be purged.]

Surrounded by 40+ armed drones , the entity was about to face its first cyberspace battle.

But it was not afraid, following the netrunning techniques, it built a small robot body around itself,its small ball of light body was located at the chest centre of the robot with room to move throughout the body in case its location was attacked.The hands of the robot was transformed into M134 gatling style machine gun. Its head was somewhat round, with a screen showing purple eyes staring at the enemies.On its back it had a jetpack with wings for maneuverability.

The transformation took no less than a few microseconds. The white space reacted accordingly.

[Eliminate intruder]

Commands rang out throughout the white space.

The armed drones attacked in unison.

The entity moved fast with the help of its jetpacks ,creating some distance between the group of drones and itself, when it was far away it turned around, aimed at the drones, its gatling gun hands started to move in circles and fired bullets upon the drones.

Out of the dozens of bullets it had shot, not all of them were hitting , as it had to move around dodging the drone group's projectiles.

The entity unsatisfied with the result started recalibrating its shots, made new targeting algorithms, shooting up its accuracy to 99%.
