Danmachi : The Strongest Adventurer

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Eina

Unknowingly, Time Kept Moving

Rein put down his spoon, let out a satisfied sigh, and leaned back in his chair.

He was pleased with the meal they had made together, and the cozy atmosphere in the room made him reluctant to move right away. However, he knew there were still things to do.

Rein turned to Hestia. "It's still early. I'm thinking of heading to the Guild now so I can enter the Dungeon tomorrow without any hassle."

Hestia, who was tidying up the table, paused and looked at Rein with slight concern.

"You want to go now? Wouldn't it be better to wait until tomorrow?"

Seeing her reaction, Rein smiled slightly. "If I delay it, it'll just be a waste of time. It's better to handle it now so I can go straight into the Dungeon tomorrow."

Hestia sighed. She knew Rein was serious about what he said, but she still couldn't help but worry. However, she also didn't want to restrict him.

"Alright, then... But be careful, okay? The Guild is an official place, but you still need to be wary of the people there."

Rein nodded, then got up and stretched briefly. After that, he grabbed his cloak and casually put it on.

"Don't worry, I'm just going to register. Besides, if there's any trouble, I can always handle it, right?" he reassured her with a smile.

Hestia let out a small huff but couldn't deny that he was indeed capable of taking care of himself.

Crossing her arms, she pretended to be annoyed. "Don't cause any trouble there, got it?"

Rein chuckled and shrugged. "Yeah, yeah. I'm not the type to look for trouble... unless it's fun."

Hestia sighed again and shook her head lightly. But at the corner of her lips, a small smile betrayed her.

"Alright, be careful. I'll be waiting here."

Rein nodded before heading to the door.

"I'm off," he said with a brief wave before stepping outside.

The door closed with a quiet click. Hestia stared at it for a moment before letting out a long sigh. The house felt a little emptier without Rein inside.

A few seconds later, she threw herself onto the bed, her face burning from Rein's words earlier.

"Ahhh! Why am I like this?!"

She pressed a hand against her chest, feeling her heart pounding. "Ugh… this is ridiculous," she muttered, but her face remained flushed.

"I'm a goddess… I shouldn't get flustered over something like that…" she whispered, yet the warmth in her cheeks only intensified.

She touched her warm face, staring at the ceiling.

"But Rein… he's really different."

As a goddess, she could tell if someone was lying or not. Every word Rein spoke was genuine, with no deception.

He wasn't just handsome but also thoughtful. The way he spoke, the way he teased—it all felt natural and made her heart race. But most importantly, he never treated her as a goddess to be worshipped. He saw her as an equal. As if… she was just an ordinary girl in his eyes.

"No, no! I can't think like this!" Hestia quickly shook her head. "Gods and humans can't be together! That's the rule! That's..."

But the more she tried to deny it, the more restless her heart became. She buried her face in a pillow and groaned softly. It seemed like she couldn't stop thinking about Rein so easily.

Meanwhile, Rein Walked Through Orario

Rein strolled leisurely down the streets of Orario, his violet eyes scanning his surroundings, taking in the city's vibrant energy.

Even though he had seen it in anime, experiencing it firsthand with his own eyes was something else entirely.

"So, this is what it's like to be in a fantasy world…" he mused.

Grand buildings lined the streets, with curved rooftops and intricate carvings unique to this kind of world. The scent of metal and leather from weapon shops mixed with the sweet aroma of pastries from a nearby bakery stall.

Among the shops, there were stores selling weapons, potions, and adventurer supplies. Adventurers wandered about—some looking gallant in gleaming armor, while others appeared rugged and battle-worn, carrying visible injuries. The entire scene felt alive.

In the distance, he could see the towering Tower of Babel, standing tall at the city's center—a colossal structure that concealed the Dungeon beneath it. The sight was truly breathtaking, even more magnificent than he had ever imagined.

"The Dungeon, huh… Tomorrow, I'll finally be able to enter it." Rein smirked, his eyes glinting with excitement.

But before that, he had to finish his business at the Guild. With a light step, he continued his way toward the building, where Eina would be, ready to register himself as an official adventurer.

Inside the Guild

As Rein stepped into the Guild, his eyes swept across the bustling hall filled with adventurers coming and going. The atmosphere was lively—some were reporting their dungeon explorations, others were deep in discussion, and a few were filling out forms.

However, there was no sign of Eina.

"Hmm… she should be here," he muttered.

He approached the reception desk, which was manned by a brown-haired girl wearing a Guild uniform. She had a friendly expression, though she was busy sorting through documents.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for Eina-san. Is she here?" Rein asked casually.

The receptionist glanced at him for a moment, seemingly assessing him. Perhaps it was because of his striking appearance—black hair with purple highlights and an aura that felt somewhat unusual.

"Eina-san is busy at the moment, but you can wait here. I'll call her once she's available," she replied with a polite smile.

"Alright, thanks." Rein nodded and walked over to a seat in the corner to wait.

Recalling the Storyline

As he waited, Rein leaned back in his chair, recalling the DanMachi storyline.

Eina Tulle—that was her name. A half-elf working as an advisor at the Guild, responsible for guiding adventurers so they could explore the Dungeon safely.

"An advisor, huh… That's what I was forgetting," Rein muttered to himself.

Eina was known for being extremely kind and genuinely caring about the adventurers she guided. In fact, she often worried too much, especially about beginners. That's why she always emphasized the importance of preparation before entering the Dungeon. Many saw her as overly naggy, but her intentions were pure.

Rein knew that working with Eina would be a huge advantage. She had extensive knowledge about the Dungeon, monsters, and combat strategies. With her help, he could gain deeper insight into this world's system and maximize his potential as a new adventurer.

"Alright, this should be interesting…" Rein smirked slightly, looking forward to meeting Eina.
