Dark Lord in The Twilight

Chapter 28: 27. Kiss

Alice noticed something on the dresser that caught her attention: a wooden wand. Tom had left his old, broken wand there. Tom quickly tried to distract her by saying, "You said I was sick and needed rest, but you're not helping me. Alice was confused, trying to figure out what to do, but she hadn't had much practice.

"Where's the kitchen? I'll get right on that," Alice said excitedly, about to cook for a man for the first time in the kitchen.

After Tom described the location of the kitchen, Alice went downstairs to the kitchen.

Alice was filled with excitement as she walked to the kitchen door. The thought of being with Tom and helping him filled her with happiness, so she quickened her pace.

When she opened the door, she was greeted by a neatly organized kitchen. There were a few pots, chicken broth, and some basic ingredients.

Alice set to work immediately. She took a pot and started to heat the chicken broth. Then she opened the kitchen cabinets and decided to make a soup with the pasta, vegetables, and spices she found inside.

She proceeded carefully, trying to make the most delicious soup for Tom. This experience had special meaning for her because it was the first time she had cooked for a man in the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Tom lay comfortably in bed, resting quietly as he watched Alice prepare in the kitchen. There was a faint smile on his face as he appreciated Alice's excitement and effort. He had removed the wand and replaced it with an ordinary wooden stick. He had felt the power emanating from Alice. He didn't want any accidents in the room.

After much effort, Alice had made the soup. Alice brought a bowl of soup to Tom's room and handed it to him. Tom started to drink the soup, but he frowned; he didn't like the taste at all. Alice furrowed her brow as she looked at him. Tom drank the soup without saying anything. After resting for a while, he fell asleep.

When he woke up, he felt a weight on him. Alice was lying on top of him with her head on his shoulder, her eyes closed, pretending to be asleep. Tom knew she hadn't been sleeping from the beginning, because he knew she was a vampire.

Tom put his arm around Alice's waist and pulled her closer to him. Alice was a little surprised by Tom's action and was now caught between happiness and embarrassment. Seizing the opportunity, Alice wrapped her arms tightly around him.

She felt a sense of shame for being so close to a man for the first time, but more than shame, she felt happiness at the moment. Tom's right hand was on Alice's back and his left hand was free. Since it was evening, the sun left a red glow in the room. It was beginning to get dark.

As Alice rested in Tom's arms, her mind was filled with a series of thoughts. Being with Tom and helping him gave her a sense of peace and security, but it also made her feel emotionally conflicted.

Trying to deal with the emotional turmoil caused by this closeness, Alice felt the energy radiating from Tom's warm body. Being with him gave her a kind of strength and support. However, she had to suppress the conflicting emotions within her.

She decided to cherish this moment of being in Tom's arms and focus on enjoying the present moment, putting aside the complexity of her thoughts. As she felt his warmth and peace, she felt deep satisfaction and happiness.

Meanwhile, Tom was thinking about other things. This woman had completely disarmed him, because no woman he had ever met before had treated him like this. Most of them had bad intentions. Tom remembered these things and put his left hand on Alice's body. He was lying on his back and Alice was snuggling up to him. Tom turned to Alice and pressed her against his chest.

Alice couldn't respond to everything that had happened with just one reaction. But now she wanted to show herself. Tom noticed that she was awake. Alice nestled her head against Tom's neck and began to deeply sniff his scent.

Although a vampire's sense of smell was very good, being close to the source of the scent felt very different. Alice thought she might be addicted to Tom. This man's charisma, scent, voice, and presence were all wonderful.

Tom, on the other hand, was thinking about something else entirely. How had this woman put him in this state? Tom had thought he had felt something, but he had always assumed it was just physical attraction.

Alice had gotten very close to Tom. As Alice's hands moved down Tom's back, Tom moved his hands down Alice's back. Alice's eyes were now open. She began to look directly at Tom. Tom, who had already opened his eyes, looked at Alice.

Tom moved his left hand from Alice's back to her cheek and began to stroke it. Alice did the same, and Tom's face had some stubble that touched Alice's hand, even though it was cold, Tom didn't mind.
