The duo walked along as they chatted, losing track of time. Jian only remembered about the fact that she had a girls night going on when chloe called to ask if she was alright. Since it has been a while since she claimed she was going to the bathroom, she wished ethan a good night before waving off, he decided he needed more head clearing so he continued on his walk. On her way back jian stumbled upon a figure in the dark smoking, was that seth, without even realizing she was walking towards the person, so much for stranger danger.

"Seth" she calld in a low voice, it was him. She was surprised that he smoke but before she'll call his name she saw someone walk towards him and snatched the cigarettes from him and then burned it off before handing him something which he took from her, she heard him chuckling. What was going on, who was she and why was she just rooted there instead of walking off it was like she was watching against her own will. When the figure shifted towards him the light briefly reflected on her dress and it was the same pink night gown she was wearing, that means it had to be one of the girls, it wasn't Brianna because she's taller than the figure, one and her own night gown was white instead because she was the bride, it wasn't Stephanie either, again she's taller than the bride, she didn't have the same pink night trousers as them she had to wear back her old jean because tiana accidentally spilled the whole punch juice on her so she had to change, it definitely wasn't chloe, she wouldn't tell that girl from her shadow, it wasn't tiana too she had very long straight hair and that's when she gasped mina, it was mina. The curly hair, her short statue, how big her PJs look on her. Brianna bought the wrong size so hers were a bit bigger. How did the two know each other, she wasn't every fimilar with mina, one because they went to different schools, and the only connection they have was that they're both friends of Stephanie and brianna, they never really had a conversation that lasted more than a minute, when ever they saw each other it was always hi, hello and that was it. She wanted to turn around and walk away but it was like she was stuck and before she knew it she was walking towards their direction. Suddenly her phone rang she immediately turned a corner to hide, it was chloe calling again, that girl and wrong timing. She immediately cut the call and left her a message, now what was she going to do, even though she immediately tackled the issue but what if seth and mina heard that and why was she even hiding like she was doing something bad, they were the ones standing in the middle of the corridors doing God knows what at thia godly hour, can't they take their rubbish somewhere else, 'ugh' she couldn't help groaning such nuisance, now she'll have to hide here until they move so she can pass. After 5 minutes of listening to them giggling and chatting she couldn't help but scoff, what was he laughing about she was sure mina wasn't all that funny, and what was she laughing about he's joke are as bad as he's stupid tennis skills, if they didn't end this rendezvous in a minute she was going to get up and leave, she didn't care if they saw her, after 5 minutes when she didn't hear anything she got up and dusted herself and was ready to move when she heard a voice

"I thought you left" she was so startled she screamed, taking a wrong step she ended up on her bottoms, she whined, that hurt she looked up to glare at the man who was trying to hold he's laughter

"My bad" he apologized stretching out he's hand but jian didn't even give it a second glance. She got up on her own, dusting herself again, even though they're wasn't a speck of dust on her clothes

"Where's your boyfriend" she heard him ask and she knew he was referring to ethan

"Where's your girlfriend" she asked back

"Oh her, she left and-" before he could complete his sentence she was walking away. She really thought he was different, how can he have a girlfriend and flirt with her and even kiss her, we're they in an open relationship, we're they on a break or maybe they got together after the bachelorette party and not before, he may give off playboy vibes but he didn't look like the type to actually play around, looks like maybe she may be wrong.

"Hey" seth called catching up to her, he held her hand stopping her

"She's not my girlfriend" he clarified and with that it looked like the clouds over her mind dispased

"What" she asked as If she needed double confirmation

"Mina is just a friend of a friend" he clarificated again, looking at the way she was knitting her brows, he knew her brain wad trying to dissect the 'friend of a friend' part do he just Decided to help her out

"She's the best friend of my ex, her, me, frank, Berlu and fiona are like a little group of our own, so we're like all friends" seth explained

"Your still friends with your Ex" she asked and seth couldn't help but smile, the way she raised her eye brows, hand folded she looked like an interrogation girlfriend

"Yeah, it was a peaceful breakup and we didn't want it to affect the friend group so" seth explained, he then dragged her with him to seat at one of the random benches.

"Why did you guys break up, you guys lost feeling for each other" she asked and seth shook he's head, it made her heart drop a bit, so he still liked her

"Not exactly, she had to move all the way to Singapore for studies, distance and stuff" he replied

"So you still like her" she asked in a low voice, she asked then regretted it, what was her business whether he liked her or not, and why was she anticipating a certain answer

"No, i like someone else" he replied, serving her one of he's cocky smile and she wouldn't help but scoff with a smile, she wanted to ask who but decided against it no Pandora boxes tonight.

"So, where's your boyfriend" Seth asked again, and jian couldn't hep but laugh

"Oh he left to ge-" but before she finished her sentence he cut her off

"Aren't you supposed to start with, 'no he's not my boyfriend'" he said frowning and jian couldn't help but laugh, this guy was really doing too much after a while of comfortable silence she finally remembered something she wanted to ask so badly

"Hey, what's your last name" she asked, seth was a bit surprised that she asked but he was happy to share it, he was happy that she was taking interest in him,

"Why wanna add it to your name" he teased

"It wouldn't look good, just shut up and tell me" jian said, there names together, what were they..marriaged.

"Jian Maynard Everdeen" seth said looking at her with a smile and she felt her heart flutter, so that was he's surname Maynard Everdeen, it was a really sophisticated surname just like him, it was nice.

"Looks pretty good to me" he added and received a smack, instead of an approval. After sitting out for a bit, he realized she was shivering so he decided it was time to go in, even though jian declined he walked her until he was within eye sight and watched her get in before walking off.
